From his battered form, he conjured a tracking missile aimed directly at Chōji.

Yet, the thought of standing idly by while Chōji met his demise was unbearable to him. Kakashi found himself in a harrowing dilemma.

He couldn't bear witnessing such a tragedy again.

Caught in his moment of indecision, Kakashi's mind raced for a solution.

Then, a sudden realization struck him, and he turned his gaze towards Carnes and Demiurge, who stood on the rooftop not too far away, his voice strained but resolute.

"Didn't you two claim to be friends of Jiraiya-sama?" Kakashi questioned, his voice quivering with a mixture of anger, desperation and urgency.

"Although I might not know Jiraiya-sama's final wishes...

This is still his village. Wouldn't you step forward to save it?"

He paused for a moment, his desperation evident.

His thoughts raced as he wrestled with the situation.

"And please forgive my rudeness from yesterday," he continued.

"Please, I request you, help us!"

In an act of desperation, Kakashi let out a sharp cry, directed at Carnes.

He lowered his head, a rare display of humility for the usually stoic ninja.

Deep down, Kakashi wasn't a person who clung to life at all costs or feared death.

However, given the current circumstances, if he had the option, he wanted to preserve his own life for the sake of the village.

Even though he had harbored suspicions about Carnes the day before, circumstances had changed, he now saw no alternative.

"This man was trusted by both Jiraiya-sama and Tsunade-sama,"Kakashi reasoned with himself.

"I have no choice but to place my trust in him."

And now filled with resolve, Kakshi steeled himself for whatever course of action lay ahead.

With clenched fists and a sense of determination, Kakashi made his plea, hoping that Carnes would answer the call of duty and lend his aid in their time of need.
