Chapter 64: Like A Fly! Admiral Lost!
Kizaru took the moment to emit a dense flash of golden light. This beam was a hundred times thicker than his usual laser and was wide enough to almost completely cover Kaido's enormous body. The laser, with a high temperature of nearly 10,000 degrees, struck Kaido's body at the speed of light. An explosion, far exceeding his ordinary laser, erupted on Kaido's chest, causing him to take a step back due to the force shaking the atmosphere.
However, Kaido, undeterred by the wounds on his body, swung his mace forward. His body, incredibly resilient and now covered with dragon scales, was virtually unharmed by the explosion. The sound of the explosion was impressive, and the shockwave cleared the smoke from the laser, causing a powerful impact.
Kizaru's body instantly turned into a golden beam of light as he dashed to the side. Fujitora, holding his position, swung his sword imbued with gravity. As the sword slashed down, the powerful gravitational force clashed with Kaido's mace, and neither side gained the upper hand.
Suddenly, a massive Wooden Golem, tens of meters high, rose up behind Kaido. Its enormous fist slammed straight into Kaido's back. Kaido, with a sideways glance at the iron fist striking from behind, had coldness in his eyes. "One after another, like a fly," he muttered. His aura surged out, weaving with his Haki, causing the surrounding air to tremble and even suppressing the Logia users' awakened powers.
Kizaru and others found breathing difficult as the tension grew. Kaido kicked off the ground, shattering the earth beneath him, and spun in the air with his mace in both hands. With a sweeping strike, he slammed the mace into the Wooden Golem's fist. The fist exploded into flying wood chips, and the damage spread from the arm to the shoulder, making it seem as if it were bursting from within.
The Wooden Golem screamed in pain – it turned out to be his own construct. Kaido's eyes narrowed as concentrated flames surged from his mace. With a swift swing, he launched a fiery blast at the Wooden Golem. The fireball, arriving in an instant, caused a massive explosion upon contacting the wood, engulfing the barren pastures. The screams intensified.
"Damn it!" someone yelled.
The light flickered, and Kizaru reappeared, aiming his Sky Cong Cloud Sword at Kaido's waist. Approaching him, Kizaru coolly remarked, "You've shown a flaw, Kaido-san."
"Kizaru!" called out Fujitora, descending from above. Kaido's gravity intensified, especially in his right hand gripping the mace, making it difficult to lift. Kizaru swept his sword again, seizing the opportunity provided by Fujitora, confident that Kaido had been severely restrained by the admiral's powers.
Yet, Kaido remained expressionless. His pupils shifted slightly while the blood in his body boiled, producing a large amount of steam. His muscles swelled beneath the dragon scales, his already thick arms growing even more massive. He swung his mace suddenly.
Before Kizaru could react, the mace was already upon him. The Sky Cong Cloud Sword, made of light, shattered like glass under Kaido's strike. Kizaru's wrinkled face received the brunt of the attack, sending him flying backwards at several times the speed of sound. Kizaru's arm twisted and broke, his shoulder blade caved in, and his facial features were flattened, the blood making him a grotesque sight to behold.
Fujitora felt a chill in his heart, and he once again intensified his control over gravity. Kaido glanced sideways and unleashed his powerful Conqueror's Haki, directing it solely at Fujitora. Despite his strength being on par with an Admiral, Fujitora couldn't help but feel his body turn cold and tremble, his gravitational control temporarily weakening. But in a battle of this level, a split second is enough to determine the victor.
Kaido burst out of the gravitational zone and somersaulted in the air, heading straight for Fujitora. He struck from below, like a golfer hitting a ball. Fujitora ducked his head, doubling the gravity on his sword, and struck back at the incoming mace. There was a series of loud bangs as the two exchanged powerful blows, their weapons clashing with visible shockwaves in the air.
The sword and the staff locked without touching, an invisible force between them. Fujitora's sword, covered in deep purple energy, pushed against Kaido's mace with immense force, causing spatial concussions and violent air currents that whipped their clothes about.
In this tense standoff, a small sapling suddenly sprouted from the ground and rapidly grew into a new treeman. Green Bull's hands and feet were deeply rooted in the soil, and a cone-shaped tree shot up from the earth, attacking Kaido from below. Above them, enveloped in the golden light, Kizaru held a massive sword, its laser beams converging and descending upon Kaido with overwhelming pressure, dwarfing that of BIGMOM.
Kaido was unable to escape Fujitora's intense gravitational pull. With a sneer, he gripped the handle of his weapon, which transformed into the dragon companion stick. It expanded and took on the appearance of a dragon's head, the spikes becoming sharper and more slender.
Fujitora, blind to these changes, sensed the shift in energy and his expression darkened. Kaido's disdainful voice rang out: "Eight Trigrams!" With a rumble, the gravitational energy burst, exposing Fujitora to a direct hit. The mace struck his body, shattering his bones and damaging his organs as destructive Haki raged within him. Fujitora's body flew out, battered and bleeding.
"Fujitora!" The nearby onlookers couldn't help but shout in worry. But Kaido was already dealing with a multitude of wooden spikes, shredding them into a shower of splinters. Green Bull, rendered ineffective again, turned red with rage and cursed furiously, "Damn! Die honestly, Kaido!"
All he got in return was Kaido's calm gaze and the looming mace. There was a deafening rumble as the wooden constructs shattered, his limbs broken, and a large hole pierced through his torso, reducing it to a bare, damaged husk.
Kaido then raised his left hand, catching the gigantic lightsaber that descended from above. The severe temperature and sharpness of the ultimate weapon were firmly grasped in his palm, with specks of light streaming from it. Meanwhile, Kizaru, battered and bloodied, looked extremely pale.
