Chapter 56: Party

Ben, Honey, Kaya and Belo Betty, Nojiko and Nami headed back to Nami`s house. Genzo insisted on being there for a party in the evening however they would need time to prepare.

The group got to the Nami`s house where they first met Nojiko earlier that day. They entered the building.

"Welcome to my home," Nojiko said.

The interior of the house was simple and sparsely furnished. There was a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, and two bedrooms.

Ben sat on the sofa in the living room. Honey and Alvida sat next to him. Nojiko brought a few chairs from the dining table. Nojiko, Belo Betty, Kaya and Nami sat on the chairs.

"It's a lovely house," Ben remarked.

"Thank you," Nojiko said.

"It has a lot of memories," Nami said.

"I am sorry. Some of them could be painful," Ben said.

"Some of them could be happy as well," Nojiko said.

"I know how you feel. The house I lived in has many memories of my past, my parents but they also have painful memories. It's best to think of the positivity," Kaya added.

"Positive for sure. Tonight Ben can make some good memories," Belo Betty teased.

"My love, sure can," Alvida jumped in.

"Girls, be civil," Honey said.

They all giggled except Nami who was staring at Honey.

"I thought you had devil wings, horn," Nami said looking at Honey.

"Sis," Nojiko said.

"Only my crew will know the secret about that," Ben firmly said.

Nami was a bit taken back by that. However, Nojiko smiled at Nami and said, "Looks like I will know the secret Captain."

"You will later tonight," Ben replied.

"Pervert," Kaya said.

"I meant," Ben tried to defend himself.

"You walked into that one my love," Alvida said.

"I will find out one way or another," Nami declared.

"There is always one way," Alvida responded.

"I will not join your crew," Nami blurted.

"Good decision," Kaya stated.

"Hey, you are part of the crew," Ben said to Kaya.

"I..I…." Kaya uttered.

Belo Betty and Alvida giggled. Honey smiled. She leaned over and rested her face on Ben's shoulder.

"Sis. Why did you decide to become a pirate?" Nami asked Nojiko, trying to change the topic.

"Ben approached me and asked me to join his crew. We talked if he defeated Arlong I would join him however there was something about him when he beat Take here. He transformed. He said about protecting me. He gave me a devil fruit without my official yes so I joined," Nojiko explained.

"He did the same with me," Kaya added.

"That is my love," Alvida said.

"A true monster, stealing all the maidans," Belo Betty said.

"You guys are making sounds like a pervert who takes and steals girls," Ben laughed.

"Namiii!!" a voice was heard shouting. "Namiii!!" the voice was heard again.

Ben and the girls went outside to see a man with a red shirt and blue shorts wearing a strawhat shouting.

"Hey Luffy," Ben greeted.

Lufrfy smiled when he saw Ben and stretched his arms towards Ben and wrapped them around him. He then flew towards Ben. They collided and both fell down.

"Hey Ben," Luffy happily greeted.

"What are you doing here?" Luffy asked Ben.

"Saving my future crewmate from an evil tyrant," he replied.

"Sounds fun. Let me join you," Luffy said.

"Luffy," they heard two voices shouting. They saw Zoro and a man wearing a suit running towards them.

"Stop running off on your own," Zoro said.

"Yeah," the man replied. He looked to see Luffy and he looked right and left. "Ladies," the man said. "I am Sanji, can I ask for your name, you beautiful maidens," he introduced himself with hearts in his eyes.

"Nami," Zoro said. He took his sword out and pointed towards her. Zoro had bandages over his chest. "You stole the ship," he glared.

Ben saw the situation developing. Luffy was wrapped around him.

"I'm sorry," Nami cried. "I had to for my village, my mum, all were taken by Arlong. He shot my mum in front of me. He took the villagers' money. He promised that if I worked for him and gave him money, I could buy the village but he was going to betray me. I thought I had a chance but I didn't. Ben and his crew saved me and my village," she explained.

"You made Nami-san cry, stupid Mosshead," Sanji said in anger.

"It's okay," Luffy said. Zoro put this sword away. Ben thought, as Nami apologised and Luffy forgave, this was enough for Zoro. He truly loves this crew amore importantly respects Luffy authority as Captain.

"Thank you for saving and helping my navigator," Luffy said. Ben was surprised with this level of maturity from Luffy.

"But we agreed this was my fight. I was going to beat the next one. You got two in a throw. I want two in a row now," Luffy threw a tantrum. Ben thought, back to typical Luffy.

"Well when I saw my future crewmate Nojiko suffering I had to move quickly. You can take the next one down," Ben said.

"Shishishi. I will," Luffy laughed.

"So you got a new cremate," Ben said.

"Yes, the best chef in the world," Luffy exclaimed.

Ben looked at Sanji who had hearts in his eyes. Luffy got off Ben. Alvida smiled and walked towards Ben and kissed him on the cheek.

"My love," Alvida said. Sanji's heart felt like an arrow pierced him. Then Honey kissed Ben. Another arrow hit Sanji's heart.

Kaya kissed Ben on the cheek as well and whispered, "I am only following our crew, I don't like you."

Belo Betty laughed and walked towards Ben. She grabbed his shirt and pulled him towards her and kissed him on the mouth. She then walked back. Two more arrows pierced his Sanj`s heart. Nojiko ran up and kissed Ben on the cheek at the same time as Nami as well. Both sisters were kissing Ben. Sanji's heart took a big hit. "Why?" he said as he fell to the ground.

"I will kill you," Sanji rose in fury.

"Please dont I will be very sad," Alvida said.

"Yes, I won't for you," Sanji said while straightening his tie. He glared at Ben,

Ben didn't know what to think of the situation but he got kissed by several girls so he was happy.

"Shishishi," Luffy laughed. Zor had fallen asleep.

"So how did you get along before coming here?" Ben asked.

"We had this amazing food. Then an old dude wearing gold armour came with a big fleet," Luffy said.

"Don Krieg," Sanji said.

"Then a man with a large sword slashed all the ships," Luffy further explained.

"Dracule Mihawk is one of the 7 warlords," Zoro said as he just woke up. He put his hand on chest.

"I will defeat him one day," Zoro asserted.

"One of the 7 warlords. Those are some powerful pirates. I plan to take one out in particular," Ben said.

"I want in.The next one is mine," Luffy said.

Ben smiled," His name is Crocodile and is operating in the Grand Line in Alabasta," Ben informed. Belo Betty looked a little suspicious.

"I am heading to the Grand Line so let's take him down," Luffy declared.

"Let us do it," Ben said.

"Our Captains are crazy," Nojiko said.

Nami sighed. "They sure are," Nami replied.

Luffy then used his power grabbed, Nami, Sanji and Zoro. "What are you doing?" Nami screamed.

"Hey," Sanji said,

"You idiot," Zoro said. Luffy then pulled them towards his body with hhis rubber powers and ran towards the coast.

"Lets find Usopp and the Going Merry and head to the Grand Line," Luffy said.

Ben was a bit surprised however this is Luffy.

"Bye sis, lets meet soon," Nojiko waved as Luffy ran into the distance.

"Go that away," Nami shouted. The girls laughed.

"Is it wise to have a pirate alliance with them?" Kaya asked.

"My sis is on that crew," Nojiko said.

"Well he may not look like it but he will do great things," Ben remarked. Ben thought, Luffy is still the main character so he will have plot armour.

"I asked this exact question," Alvida said to the girls.

"Sometimes you have to trust your Captain`s decision," Belo Betty added.

The girls nodded. At this moment Genzo appeared. "Some noisy people are running around town," he said.

"They are some friends," Ben replied.

"Okay let them know for the party," Genzo said.

"Let's go to the party," Ben said. Nojiko locked the doors and they all left near town.

The party was being held in a large field near the main town. It was decorated with twinkling lights and festive streamers. There was a long table set up with all sorts of delicious food, including grilled burgers and hot dogs. There was also a bar set up with cold drinks and beer on tap.

The villagers were already enjoying the food and drinks, and they were also chatting and laughing. There was a lively atmosphere, and everyone was having a great time.

"This will be fun," Belo Betty said. Belo Betty went to get drinks.

"Very lively," Kaya said.

"Everyone is so happy," Nojiko said. She then hugged Ben. "Thank you," she said.

Ben hugged her back and said, "I will do anything to protect my crew. We all will protect each other."

As the sun started to set, the party continued. The guests gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows. They sing songs, and they continue to enjoy each other's company.

Ben and the girls formed their own group and started drinking and talking. Luffy and the gang did not show up. Ben thought they must have already left.

They got to midnight when Kaya, Nojiko and Honey were asleep. Alvida, Ben and Belo Betty carried them back to Nojiko house which was the closest.

Nojiko`s house had two rooms. They put the girls asleep in one of the rooms. Belo Betty, Alvida and Ben went into the other room.
