Chapter 287: Miss Love Maxima (II)

Robin's expression shifted to one of shock, her eyes widening in disbelief. "An actual god," she remarked.

"I can't believe it," Nojiko echoed, her disbelief mirroring Robin's astonishment.

"So this deity will watch over us," Mikita mused.

"A true god," Conis affirmed. She prayed towards the statue. 

"I'm grateful that this god brought my love into our lives," Alvida expressed, her gratitude evident in her heartfelt words.

"Without Ben, I might have been dead or bedridden," Kaya added, her voice filled with sincerity as she reflected on the impact Ben had made on her life. He was a pervert but her pervert. 

"Ben gave me a new lease on life and purpose," Honey chimed in. She was just a scared low level person, now she had the love of her life. The appreciation for Ben's influence was evident in her tone.

"He helped me see the errors of my ways," Mikita admitted, acknowledging Ben's role in life. When they first met, he made her cry however he made up later. She smiled. 

"He saved both mine and my sister's lives," Saphir added. Her life in the last crew was hell, now it was perfect. 

"He saved my country," Vivi stated proudly. 

Ben smiled hearing the praises. "Thank you all, I love you all," Ben stated. They all smiled back. He added, "We should visit the Bridge."

They all nodded. HQ led them back through the hole and up the stairs. They all walked up and saw the Bridge. The Bridge did not look too large, however it was equipped with a variety of navigation and communication equipment, including radar, sonar, GPS, and radios. There was a series of monitors which looked like the ship diagram. The rest looks like it was for operating the ship's engines and other machinery. 

"This is just like the Miss Love Duck," Marianne noted.

"And the Miss Love Geese," Zala added.

"Being the same family of ships, it would have similarities," Robin remarked. She looked around the Miss Love Maxima and saw the technology of the ship. 

Nojiko walked over the helm. "Even the helm is the same," Nojiko said. She looked at it and smiled. She traced her fingers over the seat. 

"This screen here seems different," Vivi observed. 

"I don't remember this being on the other ships, they looked different," Kaya agreed. 

Ben walked over and saw the monitors. There was an electric symbol all over the edge of the monitors. There were various cameras looking below the ship. This is interesting, he thought. He remembered on the Miss Love Duck, this area was for the control of the King Mark II cannon. 

[This is the control panel to control the Miss Love Maxima weapon`s system. There are main weapons at Miss Love Maxima disposal. "Kingdom Come," Miss Love Maxima will create a huge spherical cloud filled with electricity. The huge spherical cloud will be formed into a large ball which can be launched. The ball has enough power to destroy an entire village. ]

[The other weapon at the Miss Love Maxima disposal is the "Mamaragan." Miss Love Maxima will create lightning bolts which are much larger and more powerful than normal lightning bolts. They are capable of burning down an entire village.]

Ben thought he heard giggling in the background. 

He turned to the girls. "Everyone, Sweetie told me about this panel," Ben announced. He explained the weapon system for the Miss Love Maxima.

They all were shocked about the power of the Miss Love Maxima. "Ben, that power could be very dangerous. Enel used that to destroy villages, countless innocent people died," Raki explained.

"Crocodile also was trying to retrieve and obtain a weapon capable of destroying villages or entire islands," Robin remarked.

"Ben would not do that," Vivi replied. Her voice was firm. "He is not evil," she stated. 

The girls giggled. "Princess is defending her love," Zala joked. She winked. "But Vivi is right, Ben would not do that," Zala added.

"I would agree with that, Ben is not like Crocodile, Enel or even Arlong," Mikita agreed with her friend. 

"He is not Simon either, who wanted a weapon to control the world," Saphir added.

"I know Ben will not do anything horrible," Conis said. She smiled, knowing Ben is not them. He protected her. Her flame on the back went a little brighter. 

Raki nodded. In her heart she knew Ben was different. She also thought she would be with Ben so she could help with decision making. She looked at Alvida and Mikita and she felt like she could trust them, she could trust them all. 

"My love, our firepower has increased dramatically," Alvida said. She added, "If we use Miss Love Maxima, Miss Love Duck and Miss Love Geese together, it can obliterate an entire island." 

Robin looked scared hearing that. Ben walked over and put his hand on her shoulder. He leaned in and whispered, "I will be there." Robin felt her heart calm down. His words were reassuring. She liked it. 

Alvida knew she said something wrong. "I am sorry Robin," Alvida apologised. 

"No," she responded. She added, "I am not ready yet." 

"We understand, we will be here for you," Ben replied. He knew it was painful for Robin to talk about it. He thought time would help however he was going to need more. 

 "Master, there is the Third Floor as well," HQ informed. 

"Let's go and see that," Ben replied. 

"I wonder what will be there?" Marianne whispered. 

They all walked down the stairs to the Third Floor and saw an open space. There was nothing there besides a small panel on the side and a large hatch in the middle of the floor. 

"There seems to be no ramp," Nojiko remarked. 

"That is correct, the only way to exit here is from this large hatch," HQ replied. 

"That is interesting, and different to the Miss Love Duck and Miss Love Geese," Mikita noted. 

"This is bigger," Zala commented. 

"Captain, what is your plan with the Miss Love Maxima?" Robin asked. 

Ben thought for a second. He did not want to split the crew however he would need crew members to man this ship. He thought for a second. 

[The lab on this island will answer the question.]

"Sweetie has told me the lab here will answer that question," Ben relayed the information. 

"I wonder what we will find," Saphir said out loud. 

"Let's go and find out," Zala replied.
