Chapter 202: Defend Miss Love Duck

Kaya, Alvida, Mikita, Honey, Nojiko, Zala, Robin, Saphir, Rubis and Emeraude headed back to the Miss Love Duck.

They left Ben, Vivi and Marianne to talk to Ko. "I wanted to go with Ben," Saphir said. She moped a bit. 

"I did as well," Honey said. She smiled. 

"We all would want to," Mikita said.

"Ben is only one person, so we need to know that he has to take care of all our needs," Alvida said. 

"I know but," Saphir replied. 

"Sis," Rubis said.

"Maybe it will be your turn soon with Ben," Zala said. 

"Maybe," Saphir perked up. 

Robin smiled. "It looks like it will be my turn next," Robin said. 

"Or me," Honey added. She was excited that she will be with Ben again.

"Ben did say I can as well," Mikita said. Alvida put her arm over her shoulder.

"You will be soon," Alvida said. They both smiled.

"Robin, are you okay with it?" Alvida asked.

"I am. He is interesting," Robin said. She smiled. 

"Can we not talk about that for 5 minutes?" Kaya asked.

"But you have been with him already," Nojiko said.

"That was for the quest," Kaya responded.

"Well Ben told me, you could be next again soon but I guess Vivi will take it," Zala teased. 

"No," Kaya blurted out. Kaya realised what she said and went slightly red. 

The girls giggled. "I do like this atmosphere," Emeraude said.

"Atmosphere?" Honey asked.

"We can talk and share things freely around," Emeraude replied.

"It is nice, usually crews are filled with people backstabbing each other and betraying each other," Robin said. 

"We saw that first hand with the Simon Pirates," Rubis said.

"It is awful but here it is different," Alvida said.

They kept walking and arrived near the Miss Love Duck. They walked up the bridge stairs and were on the deck of the Miss Love Duck.

HQ and BM greeted them. 

"Where is my lord?" BM asked.

"Mum," Nojiko teased.

BM looked at Nojiko. She had accepted Nojiko as her daughter. Her primary goal was to keep the girls safe and happy. She also liked the idea of Nojiko becoming her daughter. She also had another daughter who she spoke briefly to. 

"My love is with Vivi and Marianne visiting Ko and saying farewell," Alvida said.

"BM, HQ, we need to prepare the Miss Love Duck to leave the port and set sail around the island," Nojiko said.

"Yes Ben said that," Mikita added.

BM and HQ nodded. "Sure Nojiko, we will set sail," HQ responded. BM, HQ and Nojiko headed to the Bridge of the ship.

"We are lucky to have HQ and BM, they seem to know everything," Kaya said.

"Yes, they are mysterious," Robin said. 

"Good mysterious," Rubis said.

The girls nodded. Meanwhile, Nojiko BM and HQ walked up the stairs and got to the Bridge. BM sat down on the helm. She pressed the button to pull up the drawbridge. She lowered the sails and pushed the lever. HQ stood nearby and assisted by checking the ship was ready. 

Nojiko stood near the window and watched. "We should stay near the northside of the island," Nojiko said. BM nodded and sailed the Miss Love Duck out of the island and to the north. 

"This was easy," Nojiko said. She smiled. She kept looking out the window. She saw clear blue skies. The calm ocean and a grey spherical torso with two mechanical arms and a long neck swimming towards them. 

Nojiko looked again and saw it coming towards them. "BM, HQ we have a treasure guardian coming towards us," Nojiko shouted. HQ who was watching a gauge on panel, sprinted towards the window. She saw the guardian coming towards them.

"I will prepare the cannons," HQ said. 

Nojiko nodded. "I will inform the rest of the attack," Nojiko said as she ran down the stairs. 

"Everyone, we are being attacked," Nojiko shouted. 

Alvida, Mikita, Zala and Robin were chatting among themself. Saphir, Honey and Kaya had gone to the kitchen. Rubis and Emeraude went back to Weapon`s room. 

Alvida, Mikita, Zala and Robin looked at Nojiko. "Attacked?" Zala asked. 

"Yes, by a treasure guardian," Nojiko replied.

"Where?" Mikita said. 

"The bow," Nojiko said. 

Robin thought. "Why is it here?" she muttered to herself. 

"I don't know but we need to protect the Miss Love Duck," Alvida said and added, "Nojiko go and get the other girls."

Nojiko nodded. She ran to get everyone on the ship.

Alvida, Zala, Mikita and Robin ran to the bow of the ship. They saw it travelling towards them. 

"Nojiko was right, the guardian is coming towards us," Mikita said. 

"We can't let it board," Alvdia said. 

"He is in the water," Robin said. 

"A disadvantage to us devil fruits," Zala added. 

"There are cannons on this ship," Alvida replied.

"I don't know how effective they will be," Zala commented.

The ship started to turn broadside. "Let's move back to the centre." Alvida said. They all nodded and ran back. 

HQ came out of the bridge stairs with Rubis and Emeraude. HQ was holding the Veridian Enigma in her hand. 

"We heard we are under attack," Rubis said. She had her spear in her hand. 

"We are ready to help," Emeraude added. 

"It is on the sea," Mikita said. 

"We fishfolk love it there," Rubis added. She smiled. Rubis and Emeraude jumped into the ocean. They charged like a torpedo in the ocean towards the Treasure Guardian. 

Rubis jumped in the air. "Rouge devasting," Rubis said as she jumped out of the water and launched a powerful stab with her spear at the Treasure Guardian. She stabbed the right arm. Her spear did minor damage. She looked down and saw "Batan" written on the chest. 

Batan saw Rubis. He opened his mouth and fired a beam at Rubis. Rubis swam back down and narrowly dodged the attack. At the same time Emeraude jumped back. She thrusted her spear forward. "Vert Thrust," Emeraude said. It was a powerful thrust aimed for its right hand. It hit his arm. Emeraude then jumped back. 

Batan looked over the two girls. They were swimming around. 

"Slide Slash," Alvida said as she created a blade of air by spinning her arm rapidly. Alvida projected forward. It travelled towards Batan and hit its right hand. Batan jolted back. 

Batan looked at the Miss Love Duck. Its eyes glowed red. It was about to fire its lazer eyes when Rubis jumped from the ocean and hit its head with her spear. The head moved up and lazer beam went towards the sky. Emeraude then jumped out of the water. She spun her body swung her spear at its arm. "Vert Whirlwind Slash," Emeraude said as she slashed the arm with her spear. There were sparks on his arm. 

Batan then shot its left arm towards Emeraude. Emeraude went back into the ocean. Rubis followed her. 

HQ flew over, she aimed the Veridian Enigma and fired her long barrel pistol at Batan`s right arm. The bullet was powerful and rocked Batan back. There were more spark and a hole in his arm. Batan fired a tornado from his mouth towards HQ who dodged the attack. 

From the Miss Love Duck, Kaya, Saphir, Honey and Nojiko came out of the dining hall. "I found them," Nojiko said. 

Kaya transformed into her beast form and flew towards Batan. At the same time Saphir jumped in the ocean with her spear. Honey and Nojiko approached Mikita, Robin, Zala and Alvida. 

"Good you both are here," Alvida said. 

"His one arm is almost down," Mikita said. 

Honey raised her hand. "Liquid Air Blast," Honey said as she fired a torrent of purple liquid at Batan`s right arm. Batan moved by the force of the attack. 

Kaya flew across. "Angel HyperBeam," Kaya said as she shot a golden light beam from her mouth towards Batan`s right arm. A small explosion was seen and its arm fell off into the ocean. 

"One arm down," Mikita said. 

Batan eyes glowed red and he fired a lazer beam from his eyes at Kaya. Kaya dodged. His lazer beam continued towards HQ. HQ flew up and dodged that attack. 

Saphir swam across. She jumped out of the ocean. "Bleu Formidable," Sahpir said as she vigorously attacked its left arm with her spear. 

Rubis jumped out of the ocean and helped Saphir out. "Rouge Blaze Thrust," Rubis said. She pressed a trigger on the spear and flame was seen coming out from the spear. She thrusted the spear onto its arm. The flames were causing damage. 

Batan swung his neck and swept across. He knocked Rubis and Saphir back as they landed on the water. "Ouch," Saphir said. 

"His long neck is annoying," Rubis said. 

HQ loaded another shot and fired her gun at its left arm. The bullet impacted its arm and rocked his body. 

Emeraude came up from the water. "Shoryo no Mizu," Emeraude said as she threw a handful of water droplets at his left arm. The water droplets impacted with incredible force. 

Kaya flew towards his left arm. She readied her arm. "Angel Smash," Kaya said as she fused her energy into a punch and swung towards its arm. It connected. Kaya took the left arm and it broke off into the ocean. 

Batan looked weakened. The lights in the sphere seemed weaker. "Let's finish it," Alvida shouted. 

"Slipstream Cannon," Alvida said as she spun her body rapidly, generating a powerful current of air. She compressed the current and fired it at Batan`s spherical body. It impacted and pushed him back. 

HQ loaded her gun and fired it at Batan. He was pushed back again and there was a bullet hole. Fluids were leaking from various parts of his body. 

Saphir, Rubis and Emeraude jumped up from the ocean. "Archange Tricolore," they all said. They raised her spears forward and charged towards Batan. Streaks of blue, red and green could be seen from their bodies as they impacted Batan with force. Batan was pushed back into the air and then landed onto the ocean where a small explosion was seen. The lights were all gone from his eyes and spheres.

"We did it," Nojiko said. 

"We did," Mikita replied.

Alvida thought. "Girls, can you bring it back and put him on the third floor?" Alvida asked. She saw this thing had not caught on fire and it may be recoverable. These things were tough, they can take a few hits. She thought they had the number advantage to overwhelm and beat it however in a 1 v 1 this can be dangerous. 

"Are we going to salvage it?" Zala asked.

"Let's see what we can learn from it," Alvida replied. 

Rubis, Saphir, Emeraude, Kaya and HQ nodded. They flew and swam there and started the recovered process. Saphir dived down to find its arms. 

At that moment Ben, Vivi and Marianne arrived on the deck of the Miss Love Duck. "What is going on here?" Ben asked.
