One Piece: Astral Trapping

Silver, curly hair awkwardly hangs over a strong, gloomy face. Sharp grey-blue eyes, set charmingly within their sockets, open and confusedly watch as snow falls on his face, a scar in the middle of his forehead marks his legacy but, more importantly, leaves a lasting impression of a fighter. Deep cold attacks his body, however he's not at all fazed as he remembers what just happened. "What the... are those pillars in the snow?" "Wait are those giant rabbits!?" "I didn't think from all places I'd be sent here. Damn it's cold as hell!!" ….. No MC isn't a 'trap' and it doesn't involve selling drugs. xD This is my first story, I'll try to stay away from most clichés, open to suggestions and feel free to leave reviews. Protagonist won't have any type of system or guide or whatever, just his knowledge from his previous world and starter pack given by the Isekai fairy when he transmigrated. He will take a very different path from most crews and no currently known straw hats in the crew, some will be very surprised by his crew members. And no Pirate King, but much stronger..."^" I never gave much thought on romance or having a 'harem', but if enough readers want it - I can give my best shot at it. You decide. Drawing in the cover belongs to its respective artist and if he/she wants will be taken down. I don't own OP in case you didn't know...

Setting Sail

POV: Adriel

Now back at Kureha's mansion the first thing I did is observe the pouch given to me by the fairy. It still has 1,000,000 berries, 10-liters, and 10-kg of bread. (A/N: he changed into the winter clothes before going into the forest)

What I realized is that once I take anything out, I can't put it back in - which I quickly found out when I tried putting my cloak back inside after changing into my winter kit.

'There goes my cultivator fantasy. Damn you useless fairy, can't even give me a proper storage bag' - giving Althea a quick curse, I moved on to a more important issue.

'I need a ship' - indeed I was currently in the Drum Kingdom in the Grand Line, and before I could do anything I had to find a way to leave this place.

Trouble is, the Drum kingdom isn't exactly known for making ships, in fact aside from their doctors - there's not a lot to talk about.

Still, it'd be impossible for not even a small ship to be on this island.

...

...

...

Walking up to Kureha that was just sitting down drinking - I had to disturb her 'happy hour' and ask.

"Ma'am I need a ship. Do you know where I can find one?" - raised my tone slightly to make sure she hears me over her gulping noises.

"Huh? *Burp*" - giving a short burp she continues

"How am I supposed to know that? Do I look like I know anything about ships? I'm a DOCTOR, not a shipwright. Honestly... youngsters nowadays. Talk about being ignorant." - she berates before continuing to take a sip from her bottle and drunkenly talk to herself.

"Aha...do you know anyone that might know?" - quickly asking before she drinks herself into oblivion, and I'm stuck here talking to a reindeer that's hiding under the bed.

"Go ask one of the villagers - or Dalton. And stop bothering me." - she manages to spew out before going back to kissing her rum bottle.

"Thank you, ma'am, I'll be on my way. Enjoy that bottle." - giving her a farewell I turn to leave when suddenly a little figure stands in between me and the door.

"Are you leaving?" "NOT LIKE I CARE - YOU CAN LEAVE FOR ALL I KNOW" - Chopper manages to bravely squeeze out, despite his knees shaking like two mini shoe laces.

"That's right little buddy, I have something to do. But don't worry my promise still stands, I'll be there if you need my help." - flashing him a smile and lightly patting his head I proceed to leave and head towards the village.

'What a weird human.' - standing there dazed and slightly blushing, chopper didn't yet know that he made an ally of one the future big shots in the entire world - the ['£$^%&*^']. (A/N: leave Adriel's nickname suggestions in the comments)

"Why do you need a ship? You only just recovered, how are you gonna sail?" - Dalton the chief guard, questioned as he stood across Adriel, giving him an disapproving look.

(A/N: if I have to describe every character Adriel meets in OP for you to know what they look like... you shouldn't be reading this but watching OP. And I'm not about to add filler descriptions just to increase the word count - if you need a reminder google them.)

"I feel fine Dalton, honestly, better than ever." - smiling and giving him a thumbs up before he could rant off about safety being the number one priority and whatnot.

"Haaaah...fine, not like I can stop you anyway. Follow me." - he shook his head and accepted defeat while starting to lead me towards what looked like a small port.

"True that." - giving a quick smirk I started following intrigued about what kind of hidden treasure I would find in that port.

...

...

...

While walking, coming towards us was a man donning a long black trench coat and a cowboy hat with red beads around it.

Instantly noticing him and staring his way - he turned his head and gave me a serious stare.

Alarm bells were going off in my head, warning me of the potential danger I was in. But I decided to just nod at him and keep following Dalton.

He did the same and went his own way - thinking...

'Does he know who I am? I don't remember seeing him before. Weird' - throwing that to the back of his head he kept walking away.

That's right the Legendary 'Fire Fist Ace' just walked past me, and if he's here then the straw hats shouldn't be far behind.

'I think I know where in the timeline I am. Damn, I've got some catching up to do' - reflecting on what just happened I couldn't help but smile like an idiot.

...

...

...

"You got to be kidding me!!!" - unimpressed at the 'treasure' I quickly scanned around the port only to find that this was indeed the 'best' shi...err...boat they had.

A small, what I could assume was a weathered fishing boat with a cabin that could barely fit my torso.

"Aye, she's not the prettiest out there - but sure as hell she's solid, will take you anywhere, you have my guarantee." - the old fisherman whose boat belonged to gave a smile and a pat to the boat.

"Even up clouds?" - I jokingly asked while crossing my arms.

"Huh?" - scratching his head and speechless the old man didn't know what to say until Dalton butted in.

"Don't mind it, he's just pulling your leg."

"How much for the boat?" - he assured the man while negotiating a price for the boat.

"I-i can give it to you for 2,000 berries, i-if that's too much I can lower..."

"Here old man." - throwing the old fisherman a leather pouch I jump in the boat and start rowing away while waving goodbye to Dalton and the fisherman.

"W-wait young man this is too much!" - opening the pouch the fisherman counted 20,000 berries and shocked called out to Adriel.

"Just think of it as a gift. It's a good boat." - I smiled while giving the old man a nod, I could tell he was attached to this boat and he wasn't bullshitting - when I jumped on the boat, it only creaked a bit before easily holding my weight.

"T-t-thank you." - the old man squeezed out trying his best to hold his tears as he waved back.

'I guess he wasn't that poor' - Dalton only slightly shook his head while hiding his smile and going back to his duties.

"Next stop - Arabasta Kingdom. Got a shichibukai to body." - Adriel faintly smiled while rowing and following the log pose given to him by the fisherman.

Adriel officially set sail on that day - and the world of one piece was about to change forever.
