Chapter 18

They are standing and more reaching further onto the open sea seeing the two attack swallow each other turning it a bright gray color making both warrior cover their eye's from the blast bright flare hitting them as the attack start to come apart blowing up finally sending a massive energy surge all over the island that everyone can feel it as if they were seeing it in person making them get scared for there dear life saying the island is gonna blow up but only mayor sam and quinn plus the people from magne town knows what's really going on in reality yami and jazz both get overtaken by the two attacks merging together before blowing up in a brighter light that makes it impossible to see each other after the blast calms down calming down the people from the fear of losing there home quinn runs out her house running to the beach area where yami lives as she reaches the beach only to see destruction all over and two bodies one belonging to yami and the other is unknown to her seeing beside them a cube prison that yami told her about how he trap the enemy from yesterday inside it getting scared for a moment realizing that yami was fighting the enemy all this time.

Without them knowing about it quinn grabs yami by the shirt collar shaking him back and forth to wake up now he is in so much trouble the enemy is out of his prison yami open his eyes looking at quinn screaming at him as he gets up he look at where quinn is pointing saying so jazz did survive the attack head on like his also walking up to him flipping him over to see if he's dead or alive touching his chest to find a heart beat to his surprise it takes a while before finally getting one to let him know he's all good yami turns his attention back to quinn who is shock by how we'll he is getting along with the enemy who attack their town not long ago yami say to quinn he was just getting some training done by someone powerful he fought so he can more stronger for other enemy's who are soon to arrive at there island quinn say is that true yami shake his head letting her known that they are in bigger trouble now than ever before jazz cracks his neck saying that was fun for today they should do this daily yami say so tommorow at the same time jazz say bet before going inside his cube prison and telling yami to lock him up for today yami say he won't throw him back at the ocean for now.

He can stay at the beach until tommorow saying goodnight to each other and heading off to there bed but quinn grabs his hand saying can't he spare some time to eat at her grandpa place he's making his home made chili today and he ask her to ask him personally yami say fine he will eat for a bit then go home he is currently tired and energy drained so he can't stay for long as they walk off the beach jazz says that was the most fun he had in a long time he can't wait for tommorow sparring training falling to sleep as he looks at the sunset yami and quinn talk about what happen today while walking to sam house as quinn ask yami why did he let jazz out his prison cube just for some fight training wouldn't he have tried to escape once he was set free yami tries to defend jazz by saying if he wanted to leave or go away he would've already but he actually stood all day at the beach helping him grasp his newfound power for when more bad guys decide to come over to this island quinn says they are still gonna here why because of jazz no say yami there's something more to this play but he don't know why since all there's is left behind is a meteor shell for the shard.

After she became one with the island itself quinn say so is she still like part of them whole or gone from their system yami stops and turns to look at her saying the shard is half inside her since she wants to make her body stronger than it was and give it more so she won't fall ill or sick ever again quinn say that sounds cool being immune to everything is not bad yami say that's the truth fistbumping each other with a smile on their face as they arrive yami tell quinn to not tell her grandpa about what happen today with jazz he wants him to trust him but he wouldn't understand why he using him for sparing matches all this coming week as they enter the house mayor sam greets them both saying they really took their sweet time coming here what we're they doing yami answer sam question saying you know talking about personal teenager stuff he wouldn't wanna hear about it he's sure right mayor sam say yeah no he is all good can they clean there hands and take a seat in the kitchen table they are having homemade chili plus some very delicious stuff from it like chili with meat or some quesadilla with special chili or his best one chili lasagna that he made for a whole town.

Just for yami himself as he see that huge plating of different food with sam special chili inside it he can't wait to dig in but sam smacks his hand with a wooden spoon saying they are not eating without thanking the shard goddess and god of bible himself and giving them a moment of silence to be grateful for the blessing they have received this coming week and the next following weeks as all three bow down their head waiting for the moment of silence to pass already so they can eat this delicious meal in front of them as yami and quinn play footsie under the table trying not to laugh and get caught again by sam as couple minutes passes by quick sam say that's ends the moment of silence now they can eat telling them both to enjoy the chili food he has made for them yami grabs a spoonful of chilli lasagna from the huge plating and puts it into his own plate while grabbing other chili flavor stuff like the quesadilla and chili with meat as his plate is full of food he decides to try everything at the same time but he bites first into the quesadilla taking a big mouthful of it letting some chili spill onto the plate as david chews on it for a bit he swallows it whole making his whole face smile happidly.
