CHAPTER 69

"Boom!" "Bang!" "Thud!" "Peng!"

Sounds of explosions echoed from within the Teen Titans Tower training room.

Six figures were engaged in combat inside.

The training room of the Teen Titans was quite spacious, almost equivalent to half a football field, and it reached a height of nearly thirty meters. It also featured state-of-the-art environmental simulation systems capable of replicating almost any combat environment on Earth.

Currently, the simulation had transformed the environment into a desert—hot, dry, and desolate.

Starfire stood alone outside the training area, observing the battle, ready to shut down the system if necessary.

"Let's see how you handle this, Yuri! Don't get shattered by me!" A massive green rhinoceros charged ferociously at the Diamondhead, while its mouth continued to taunt.

"If you can manage it, then give it your best shot!" Yuri stood firm, squatting down and slapping the ground with both hands. A colossal crystal wall rose instantly before him.

"Thud!"

As the Beast Boy in his massive rhinoceros form collided with the crystal wall, there was a resounding impact.

However, far from shattering, not even a crack appeared on the crystal wall.

"Strong!" Beast Boy marveled inwardly. It was almost as hard as a diamond.

"Gar, didn't you want to show me what you've got? Then you better impress me. I'm going to attack now, so be careful not to get hurt." Yuri lifted his hands from the ground, causing the crystal wall to retract.

Immediately after, Yuri leaped into the air, reaching a height of four to five meters. His hands transformed into two barrels, aiming downward at Beast Boy. Countless crystal spikes surged forth, resembling a machine gun relentlessly unleashing its bullets.

*Shoo! Shoo! Shoo! Shoo! Shoo! Shoo!*

*Roar!*

Beast Boy's body suddenly swelled to a height of about fifteen meters, transforming from a four-legged rhinoceros into a muscular green gorilla.

Beast Boy could shapeshift into any animal he could imagine, including even creatures from fictional movies.

Unlike the transformations brought about by the omnitrix, Beast Boy could only alter his physical form and did not directly gain the supernatural abilities of those creatures that he transforms into.

As a King Kong, Beast Boy's strength and defense were multiplied manyfold. Yuri's crystal spikes were then easily deflected by King Kong's robust muscles.

"Hahaha, I've got you now!"

Despite Beast Boy's large size, he moved with incredible speed and caught Yuri in his hand before the latter even touched the ground.

"Now, who's the boss, Yuri?" Beast Boy laughed cheerfully.

"Gar, do you know that being so cocky will get you punched? Well, you might be a monkey now, but the outcome won't change." Yuri raised his hand high and extended his entire arm, which transformed into a massive crystal hammer. He swiftly brought it down onto Beast Boy's fingers.

Although Diamondhead's strength wasn't on par with this George-like Gar, the difference between them wasn't too significant. The force of several tons struck Beast Boy's hand, eliciting a painful cry from him. (A/N: George, the albino gorilla from that movie of The Rock)

*Roar!*

Feeling the pain, Beast Boy involuntarily loosened his grip, allowing Yuri to jump out of his hand.

"You hurt me!" Beast Boy complained.

"It seems you haven't grasped the situation, Gar. We're not just training; we're fighting. When you face a super-villain, do you think they'll hold back and avoid hurting you?" Yuri said earnestly.

Both of Yuri's hands transformed into massive hammers as he charged at Beast Boy.

"Alright, then I'll take this seriously from now on, Yuri!" Beast Boy straightened his body and pounded his chest a few times with clenched fists, roaring.

As Diamondhead and King Kong engaged in intense combat, the other teammates nearby weren't idle either.

Unlike Yuri and Beast Boy, who were going one-on-one, the other four were already familiar with each other as teammates in the same group. Even after a year of individual growth, their teamwork remained effective.

Thus, they proceeded to the two-on-two segment directly.

"Cassie, why are we doing this foolish welcome ritual? I don't want to fight you!" Superboy descended from the air and punched the ground, leaving a fist imprint exactly where Wonder Girl had been standing.

Wonder Girl leaped as she then gracefully curved through the air and landed behind Superboy.

"To be honest, I'm starting to like this Tetramand welcome ritual. It reminds me of my days training among the Amazons, even though it wasn't for long," Wonder Girl said.

As soon as Wonder Girl touched the ground, she used one foot as a pivot, twisted her waist, and launched a swift kick towards Superboy's back.

"But I've still learned the spirit of the Amazon warriors—never shy away from a fight!"

"Watch out, Conner!" At the critical moment, Robin suddenly threw three Batarangs towards Wonder Girl.

"Don't worry, Cassie. I won't let Boy Wonder distract you," Bart said, appearing instantaneously between Wonder Girl and Robin. He swiftly caught the three Batarangs in his hand.

Unexpectedly, Robin revealed a triumphant smile.

Suddenly, red dots appeared on the three Batarangs in Bart's hand, triggering an ominous feeling within him.

"Boom!"

Before Bart could react, the Batarangs exploded in his hand, enveloping the surrounding area in dense black smoke.

The black smoke was mixed with irritating gas, causing Bart to cough incessantly. Hindered by his obscured vision, he couldn't accelerate freely.

While the Speed Force protected individuals from air resistance and the effects of high-speed movements within the field, if a speedster collided with someone or something without noticing, the result would be utter destruction for the other party.

Before he knew it, everything happened in an instant. Only Gods knew how Robin managed to keep up with these people's speed, but he did.

Wonder Girl's kick came close to hitting Superboy, but the dense black smoke spread to their location.

Even with the effects of the irritating gas, Wonder Girl, as a demigod, was still affected, but her Amazon training prevented her from changing the trajectory and speed of her attack.

"Hmm?"

However, after her kick, Wonder Girl didn't feel the impact of hitting something solid.

"Cassie, do you really think I would be careless enough to expose such an obvious flaw? Remember, I've also received training from Superman!" Superboy suddenly rushed out from the black smoke on Wonder Girl's left side and threw a punch at her!
