CHAPTER THREE:MEMORIES

Beom Seok was suddenly struck by a girl with black hair and bright blue eyes, who was wielding a white slipper. She shouted at him, clearly irritated, "Why are you shouting so early in the morning? I just cleared a B-dungeon yesterday, and I just want some sleep!" The girl then threw another slipper at him. Just then, a woman in her mid-forties, but still looking young, grabbed the girl's hand and scolded her, "Iseul, you naughty girl! You can't just wake up and decide to hit your brother." Iseul pouted at her mother and retorted, "But mommy, he started it."

As the mother scolded Iseul, Beom Seok looked at the two people in shock, realising that they must be the original body's owner's family. As Beom Seok was getting up from the floor, he heard a voice in his head saying, "Transferring hosts lost memories." He was shocked at the voice he heard in his head, and as he attempted to take another step, he felt immense pain in his head. After letting out a scream while holding his head, he fainted. Iseul and his mum ran to his unconscious body with concerned expressions.

Memories flooded Beom Seok's mind. The body's original owner was an F-ranked hunter, while his mother and older sister were S-ranked hunters. His father had disappeared when the original Beom Seok was 4 years old, the day before the dungeons started appearing on Earth. The original Beom Seok was always the black sheep of the family. It was always his dream to be a hunter, but his dream crumbled when he found out he had no abilities and was an F-rank, the lowest in the world. After that, the original Beom Seok never left the house and always stayed in his room watching TV or playing games, while his older sister was a high S-ranked hunter in the Rose Guild, the second-highest guild in the world. Iseul was respected by many people, and the original Beom Seok always felt that he was living in his sister's shadow.

A few hours later, Beom Seok slowly opened his eyes to see his mother staring at him with tired, teary eyes.Beom Seok's mother, Bong Cha, scolded him for not eating well, believing that was the reason he fainted. Beom Seok listened quietly, realizing that this was the first time he was being scolded by a parent since he was an orphan in his past life. As his mother finished scolding him, she told him to get more sleep and left the room, her worried expression still lingering in Beom Seok's mind.

Just then, Beom Seok heard a voice in his head instructing him to say "status window." Beom Seok whispered to himself, "This is the same voice I heard before fainting and getting the original Beom Seok memories." Beom Seok then said, "status window," and a bright dark blue screen appeared. The screen displayed the following information:
