Nonexistent End

Everybody has already seen atleast one reincarnation story where the main character gets reincarnated and gets a system that allows him to get everything he wants, and some may have seen stories where the main character has already reincarnated a numerous amount of times. However has anyone seen a story that follows the main character in his 2nd reincarnation and all the questions, all the displeasing realities that come with it? not me. And that's basically what this story is all about, since I haven't seen anyone else do it I'll do it myself. We follow a man previously named Hyrus Harber on his journey in his 3rd life in the mha world and other anime worlds as he tries to find the answers behind his reincarnations and to distract himself from the grim reality of outliving his loved ones. This is gonna be executed really poorly so constructive criticism is very welcomed. just none of that bullshit some of y'all be bringing in the comments. Additional information: No netorare, there will be netori, AU, slow paced, upload speed will be inconsistent.

In the sudden darkness that enveloped them, the heroes within the ballroom quickly went alert.

Informing the heroes outside of the situation, they swiftly made sure that no one was left unprotected.

In the meantime, immediately after the lights went out, Hyrus grabbed Nejire and went behind Kio and Tsuko.

"Stay behind us." Tsuko said, an underlying promise of wrath in her voice.

"Don't stray too far." Kio added, seemingly calm in the face of an unexpected situation.

They were confident in their security arrangements, much more in their own capability to protect themselves and their children, however, the fact that someone still dared to threaten the peace of their children infuriated them.

A few seconds of tensed silence passed, yet nothing happened, no loud noise, no screaming, just nothing.

This left them in utter confusion, however, as if answering their questions, the lights came back on, filling the ballroom with light once more.

The deployed heroes immediately went to work, ensuring that everything was alright. Communicating with the agents outside, they confirmed that everything was fine.

However, for an unknown reason, may it be incompetence or something else, they seemed to have been mistaken.

A gross oversight.

"What the hell are all of you doing!?" Takashi Yaoyorozu shouted out, furious, causing every person in the ballroom to tense up again.

The heroes looked around in confusion, not understanding what caused the Yaoyorozu head to be angry.

"You idiots! Find her!" He shouted out enraged, before turning to Yana and calming her down.

Momo Yaoyorozu was missing.

The heroes scattered promptly, searching every nook and cranny for the girl.

Kio and Tsuko immediately went into action, letting them know they were ready to assist in anyway they can.

"We will help look for her." Tsuko stated.

"Hyrus and Nejire, come wi–" Kio's eyes widened immediately.

He swiveled his head to look behind him, and found only Nejire with sweat dropping from her forehead.

"Where is your brother?!" Tsuko asked alarmed.

"U- Uhm... He said he was going to the restroom... Don't worry he'll be fine, he always is." Nejire laughed nervously.

Nejire struggled to explain the reason for her brother's disappearance.

'I hope you know what you are doing Hy...'

'What the hell am I doing....'

Hyrus asked himself, in the middle of a peculiar situation.

He ran through the halls of the large avenue, a taxing task for his body as he breathed in and out heavily. He had been in pursuit of a few masked individuals for awhile now, trailing behind them while trying not to get caught.

'Why am I doing this...' he thought to himself. He struggled to understand the reasoning behind his actions.

Why was he putting himself in danger? Was it purely to save Momo out of the kindness in his heart?

'No. I may have been called a hero but I never had a heart like one.'

'I did things most heroes in the stories would never do, they might even find my actions disgusting or unjust. I wouldn't do this for no reason.'

Right now he was following his instincts, letting his body move, doing what he felt was right, with Nejire's theory seeming more and more reliable by the minute.

So what was it? Why was he risking his life? What was driving him to chase after these unknown people?

A question he would have to answer another time, for he had time to ponder, but not enough time to dilly dally.

Arriving at an open area that looked to be a garden, the masked men slowed down, and Hyrus did too.

"All of you stay here, he's waiting.." The man presumably leading them said, taking an unconscious and tied up Momo from the hands of one of his subordinates.

The man walked toward a certain bush, stretching his arm out forward as if to open a door, and as if breaking through space itself; the vison of the bush folded open, revealing a dimly lit room inside.

!!!

'I have never seen or heard of such a quirk in the manga or anime.'

'Something new yet again...' The increasing amount of things unexpected started to alarm Hyrus.

For now, he shoved his thoughts aside and focused on figuring out how to get inside.

Slowly, he surveyed his surroundings but found no ways to get inside without alerting the men outside. The only visible option was to wait for the pro heroes to arrive.

As Hyrus contemplated on his next action, a small thump noise came from behind him. Turning to look at where it came from, Hyrus found a small rectangular device underneath his foot.

Observing it more closely, his eyes widened.

'Clever girl..' Hyrus thought with a small smile.

The device had a large button on its side. It's only purpose? To make a loud booming sound that was presumably meant to alert the heroes.

Momo had seemingly made it while they were carrying her away, when she awakened her quirk, Hyrus didn't know.

Momo's quirk was quite a special one, it allowed her to create anything her imagination could think of, but like any other quirk it had its drawbacks.

She could create anything under the condition that she knew the molecular structure of what the object is made of, and it costs a certain amount of energy to make something. An exchange that still favors the user in Hyrus' opinion.

'Its amazing that she was able to come up with a plan like this. She even made it as small as possible so it wouldn't make as much noise when it fell.'

Though it was a brilliant idea, it wasn't perfect. Due to its size and the rush she was in while she was making the device, it wouldn't be able to make a sound loud enough for the heroes to hear, the place was quite the ways away after all.

However, for Hyrus, that was enough.

"You think we'll get a bonus after this is done?" One of the masked men said in a hushed whisper.

"We're getting revenge, that should be enough of a bonus for us." Another answered.

"Yeah but revenge isn't gonna feed our families is it?" He inquired with a cackle.

"Shh! If the both of you don't shut the hell up, we won't get any of the two." A different one spoke up.

"C'mon don't be such a–"

BOOM!

A loud sound interrupted their banter, loud enough for them to take it seriously.

"What was that?!"

"I don't know! Let's go check it out!"

"You! Stay here and tell the boss when he's out." He instructed.

Soon they left, leaving only one man guarding the door.

"Goddammit! I knew I shouldn't have trusted that guy." The one left behind let out a grunt of frustration.

He fetched out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, and took one out. He put the cigarette in his mouth and touched the end with his index finger, a small spark flashed and smoke started coming out of it.

As the man puffed out a cloud of smoke, he suddenly felt a sharp pang of pain in his neck.

"Gah! Ahhh!" And for him, everything went black.

'That worked better than I thought..'

Hyrus looked at the unconscious man in front of him, a result of using his knuckle to hit a certain nerve in the man's neck.

'I guess it really did come in handy..' He reflected, the technique taught to him by someone else, as the image of a certain woman appeared in his mind.

He moved the man's body behind a bush and made sure he would stay unconscious for long enough.

Looking towards the still open door that hid what lie beyond it, he looked towards the direction of where the other enemies were checking out the noise and decided.

'Here goes nothing.' He thought as he looked away and walked through the door.
