Shopping with Kiara

Mia was seated in a cake shop at the global mall waiting for Kiara. She was looking out of the window at the crowd distractedly. She didn't like this pressure, every time Ava was in front of her she felt like she had done something terrible and immediately wanted to run away from her. In fact, she had stopped spending time with Ava these days because the guilt was eating her from inside. She was in a deep mess and didn't know how to get herself out of it.

Mia saw Kiara entering the shop in a strange getup, and she quickly put on her sunglasses. She was afraid someone would see them together.

Kiara looked kind of naughty and cute wearing a pink sleeveless dress and a short brown wig. She smiled spotting Mia, "Hi Mia."

Mia felt uncomfortable looking at her she said awkwardly, "Miss Anderson, hello."

Kiara came and sat opposite Mia and said, "Didn't I ask you to call me Kiara, we're good friends, right!

Mia nodded hesitantly and said lightly, "OK."

Friends? Were they really friends? If Mia didn't agree to help her, would she still be friends with her? Mia didn't have to ask that question, she already knew the answer.

"Mia, this is an indoor shopping mall. Don't wear sunglasses, it looks weird and grabs people's attention even more. I have already dressed up and no one will recognize us together, so you don't have to be so nervous." Kiara pretended to be thoughtful. Actually, she also didn't want anyone to see her with Mia, if it got out that they were together and Ava finds out then all her effort will be wasted.

"Ms. Anderson ..no... Kiara, you are very thoughtful." Mia said feeling grateful.

Kiara's smiled and asked, "Hungry? Let's go, eat something first."

They came to a high-end western restaurant. The environment in the restaurant was very posh but it was more suitable for young couples. When Mia entered the restaurant, she looked around and immediately felt out of place. She was wearing a cheap plain white t-shirt and blue jeans whereas most of the women inside were all in expensive clothes. If Kiara didn't bring her here she would never dare to enter this kind of restaurant.

"The steak here is delicious. Would you like to try it?" Kiara opened the menu and handed it to Mia.

Mia took a look at the price on the menu and was shocked to see the cheapest steak was more than 1000 dollars. She quickly closed the menu and said to Kiara worriedly, "Kiara this place is too expensive. I can't ask you to pay for it."

"Come on, it's my treat, we are good friends. There is nothing wrong with me treating you to dinner. Next time we will try some affordable place to eat, ok!" Kiara said sweetly.

Mia relaxed and said with a smile, "OK, next time it will be my treat."

Within a few minutes, Mia got more relax and started to talk and laugh happily with Kiara. However, their loud laughs attracted a man's attention at the corner of the restaurant.

Liam was having dinner with a client to discuss some important deals. He looked at the two women carefully and instantly recognize Kiara even though she was wearing a wig, after all, he grew up with her and Oliver. However, what made him curious was the women opposite to her. If he remembered correctly, she was a nurse at Beijing Tiantan Hospital. He had seen her with Ava a few times and knew they were good friends. So it was really interesting that Ava's friend was with Kiara. The way they were interacting with each other Liam understood Kiara must have bought her with money so she could use her against Ava. Liam thought it was funny that Kiara could go to this extent to get Oliver, although he was not surprised.

They all knew how madly she was in love with Oliver, as they grew up they spent a lot of time together and he knew their mind well. In fact, at that time he had a very good relationship with Oliver and they were like brothers but everything changed after that accident.

Liam was quietly watching them from far away. He couldn't make out of the conversation they were having so Liam took out his phone and took a few pictures. He can use it to see Ava again.

After dinner, Kiara said to Mia, "let's go and do some shopping now."

"OK," Mia said quietly.

They were walking and window shopping, when passing by Zara Mia glanced inside unconsciously. Kiara was observing her so she noticed that immediately, she took Mia's arm and walked into Zara. At other times, Kiara would never enter Zara, but in order to make a good impression on Mia, she decided to check it out.

Kiara's fashion sense was very good. She has been wearing famous brands since she was a child, plus she was a photographer so her eyes of seeing things were different from other people.

"Mia, try this one. It'll look stunning on you." Kiara picked up a light blue off-shoulder knee length dress and handed it to Mia.

Mia looked at the dress and said hesitating. "Kiara, it's off-shoulder."

"Yes, what's wrong with the off-shoulder? Try it out, it will look good on you. Trust me."

Mia was still not sure. Where would she wear this kind of dress? It will have to sit in her closet if she bought it.

"But this kind of clothes are not suitable to wear at the hospital and since I don't go out much I'll never have a chance to wear it, so why waste?" Mia's mind was simple so she said what she thought, besides she didn't have money to spend on such dresses.

"Mia, you don't have to buy it just try it out and see how it looks on you. You may find it nice when you wear it." Kiara's voice was gentle, and she looked at Mia innocently.

"Well, then I'll try it on." Mia walked into the changing room with the dress.

Kiara took the opportunity and picked up six more dresses, three skirts, three pairs of shoes, two pairs of jeans, and five bags for Mia.

Mia came out of the changing room wearing the dress, she was not really thin but that dress really looked good on her it added a bit of mature femininity to her look.

"Mia, you look beautiful." Kiara laughed and complimented her.

"Mia, I chose all these clothes for you. It's from me. Try them on please." Kiara put the clothes in Mia's hands and then led her into the changing room.

Mia tried them all while Kiara waited at the door for her. The clothes Kiara chose went so well with Mia's figure and temperament that even Mia was surprised to see that she could look that good. When she was done Kiara dragged her to the counter without giving Mia any chance to refuse to take the clothes and paid a 10000 dollar bill.
