Erika's Confession

Erika stared at Arvin for a while then said in a choked voice, "Arvin, wake up please, why aren't you waking up? Are you trying to punish me for what I said to you yesterday? Please don't do that, wake up. This is not funny anymore. Stop joking, will you? Have you ever thought if you really die, what will I do? How will I live?"

Erika gently touched Arvin's bruised face. Her heart ached for him and she closed her eyes in despair.

"Arvin, I always knew how much you loved me, I always thought no matter what, you will always be there for me. We grew up together and you always treated me well but then you got engaged to Jessica and broke my heart. Do you know how much I hated to see you and Jessica together? I know you were angry with me because I was ignorant toward your feeling, but you have no idea how much strength it took for me to not break down in front of you. I am a proud person how could I let you have power over me, so even though I was madly in love with you and badly hurt by you I still chose to bless you and let you go. I wanted to move on and start my life with someone else." Erika kept mumbling.

"But why did I keep thinking about you and missing you? I never really moved on, have I? Arvin, I really can't live without you, but how could I forgive you just like that? So I said those awful things to you and tried to hurt you but now you are lying here and punishing me again. How dare you keep hurting me like that? Is it really great that you're lying here?"

Seeing Arvin was still motionless Erika didn't know what to do, was he really dying, was there no hope for him at all? Erika reached out and held Arvin's cold finger and her heart quivers.

"Arvin, please wake up? If you can get through this, I promise, I will never leave you again and I will always listen to you, never fight with you, never make any trouble with you. Nothing is more important than you, please wake up."

"I admit, I was angry with you that's why I said I was in love with Sam but that's not true. I only love you."

Arvin was listening to everything Erika was confessing to. His heart was full of joy, she loved him, she finally confessed that she loved him. Oh thank god, he did this today or he would never get the chance to hear these words from her.

In the corridor outside, it was a bit cold on the autumn night. Ava was feeling cold, she started to rub her hands together to warm them up. Oliver saw that he took Ava in his arms to warm her. He frowned when he felt her icy cold hands. "Why are your hands always so cold?"

"Why does it matter when I have my personal heater with me all the time!" Ava said with a smirk as she put her hands on Oliver's neck.

Oliver smiled and let her keep the cold hands in his neck without any complaint, holding her closer to his body.

"Oliver, do you think it will work?" Ava's hands warmed up so she pulled back her hand and looked at Oliver.

Oliver didn't let her go, he said with a smile, "I think it already did. The way Rika responded to his accident it was clear that she loves him so I think Arvin got this."

"Arvin said he owes me a favor. How do you think I should make him play?" Ava said with a wicked smile.

"Let him run naked."

"That's an easy out. In order to help him, I had to make a lot of effort "

Oliver smiled and said, "Then save it. You may need his help someday and you can use this favor."

Ava put her head in Oliver's chest, she felt comfortable listening to his strong heartbeat. She smiled and thought if Arvin and Erika got back together that was enough for her. She didn't want anything else. Ava suddenly started to feel very tired. She said in a lazy voice, "Oliver, I am feeling sleepy."

"Then let's go home." Oliver looked at Ava and saw the fatigue in her beautiful face. He quickly scooped her in his arm and walked out of the hospital.

In the ward, Erika was still pouring her heart out in front of Arvin, completely unaware that he was listening to her every word.

"Arvin, if we could turn back time I would definitely be with you. I always wished you could get out of my life, but why does it hurt so much knowing you are truly leaving me? I feel like I can't breathe anymore. Please come back to me." Erika sniffed and stared at Arvin's handsome face then slowly put her head at the edge of the bed. Since she heard about his accident she has been crying now she was feeling very tired.

Listening to Erika's sad tone Arvin's heart broke. He heard it all, Erika said she loved him and wanted him to come back to her, and that's all he needed. Arvin slowly opened his eyes and looked at Erika with love in his eyes, he said in a warm tone, "silly girl, I will never leave you in this life. Have you ever seen me leave?"

Hearing Arvin's words, Erika abruptly lifted her head up. Seeing Arvin was awake and smiling at her, her heart was full of joy "Arvin, you are awake!"

"Yes, I am." Arvin smiled wide.

"How are you feeling? Are you in pain?" Erika asked worriedly, didn't Ava said his heart was failing, then how he was talking and smiling so normally? Was he hiding his pain from her?

Arvin felt warm by Erika's concern, but he still wanted to tease her. He pretended to be sick and said: "I am ok, but I think I was dreaming just now, I heard someone say that She loved me and If I wake up she will definitely be with me forever!"

Erika's face turned red, but she was afraid to deny it. Arvin just woke up if she said something to upset him what if he falls back to a coma again? So Erika smiled and said sincerely, "Yes, we will be together, but you need to get better first."

"Really? You will not go back from your words, will you?" Arvin's voice couldn't hide the excitement in them.

"No, I won't," Erika said shaking her head.

"Rika, I'm ok. Look, I'm perfectly fine." Arvin suddenly jumped up from the bed and said with a wide smile.
