Surprises to come, events to prepare

Along the way, Jay asked some questions such as Ace's background, only to receive unexpected and unbelievable answers.

Such a genius has made it this far all by himself with only a master that guided him for a short period of time? Built up his own sect and even recruited an elder that might already be at the Great Martial Master realm.

Be in control of a low spirit grade heavenly root and disciples with noteworthy cultivation talent to be at the Martial Master realm around the age of sixteen on the desolated seven continents..

Most importantly, he wasn't single…

Why did Jay go silent all of a sudden? Even though Ace was unable to understand the intention behind each of Jay's questions, he was surprised by this sudden silence. Don't tell me that it's because I told him that…

"Jay, are you still single?"

The three random disciples who were kidnapped had already been communicating well with each other. One was responsible, one was silent while one was talkative.

But now, they stopped talking in unison as their eyes turned towards their master simultaneously.

"Does it matter?"

Seeing that Jay was slightly pissed off by his question, Ace remained silent and said with his eyes facing the front, "It's because you've yet to see the world with your eyes, but I can tell you for sure that love isn't as simple as you think."

Jay was left speechless by this as he remained silent throughout the journey, Ace was busy thinking about his future plans while the three disciples were chattering with each other on the brief journey.

Arriving at the foot of the sect, Ace registered their name under the sect before realising that there was a notification message from the system.

Curious, Ace opened the system message with a single thought.

[From now on, sect experience, sect points and statistics will only be reviewed every month]

Current statistics are as followed:

Sect system: Level 1 (300/1000) EXP

Members: (50/1000)

Elders: 4 (Clarissa, Arith, Cidd, Jay)

Disciples: 46

Average cultivation base: early stage Martial Master

Average age: 17 years old

Location: Nascent mountain (low spirit grade)

Martial pavilion: 87 high grade mortal, 73 peak grade mortal, 44 low earth grade, 18 middle earth grade, 8 high earth grade martial skills (Disciples exchanged them)

Sect points: 300

Seeing that there were only 300 sect points this month, there was only one thing Ace could spend them on.

Individual dwelling improvement: 3 sect points each, increases cultivation speed of disciple by another 10% while cultivating in their dwellings, stacks with the 20% increase in cultivation speed from the spirit root.

"300 sect points have been deducted, all hundred dwellings for both disciples and elders have been improved significantly, unique cultivation effect has been activated!"

Back in the Nirvana sect, the disciples were currently cultivating within their dwellings as Arith and Clarissa while guiding a few disciples on forging and alchemy respectively only to be disrupted by the disciples outside.

Stepping out of the room, Clarissa lashed at the disciples, "What the hell is going on with the ruckus going on out here?"

One of the disciples stepped out and stuttered in an attempt to explain to Clarissa, but his eyes that were being attracted to the two peaks that were heaving up and down from Clarissa's sudden action betrayed him.

Clarissa looked around, only to realise that the male disciples were staring at her in lust while the female disciples glared at her in jealousy except for a particular few with strong willpower.

Clenching her fist, Clarissa took a deep breath to calm herself down before asking coldly, "What in the world happened?"

Her ferocious tone, possibly having an effect, caused the disciple to regain his senses as he pointed towards the dwellings.

"Our dwellings! They suddenly improved and became so much better, some disciples even mentioned that their cultivation speed was increased significantly when cultivating in the new dwelling.

"What?"

Clarissa blurted out as she made her way towards the dwellings, only to realise that it was significantly improved.

If their previous dwellings were average and just common in the towns and cities, then their current dwelling would be one which would cost them an arm and a leg to afford out there.

Putting aside all other factors, just the increase in cultivation speed made one dwelling worth a sky high price, not to mention that this change occurred to all the dwellings at once for both elders and disciples.

"How's my present for the entire sect this month?"

Ace descended from above and asked. He might be incapable of flight, but Jay had helped him to in order to speed up the journey. It wasn't much, but worth the fun experience to him.

"Sect master, did you just say for this month?"

Clarissa reacted quickly in surprise, only to see that Ace was nodding at her, possibly satisfied with her answer.

Most of the disciples are here, I might as well make the announcement now. Opening his eyes again, Ace raised his voice so that all the disciples could hear him.

"Remember, the more sect missions completed by both disciples and elders together each month, the better the monthly reward!"

"Sect master, are you serious?" One of the well-tanned youths who was still sweating from physical training asked in excitement,

"Sect master, don't go back on your own words." Another disciple who was training with the sabre moments ago warned with a serious tone which caused resounding laughter around him.

"Sect master, how did you do all of this suddenly within just a moment?"

Lancelot who had just left his own dwelling asked the question which everyone has been itching to know, how did this happen in a split moment before their eyes?"

Jay looked towards Clarissa before turning away abruptly. Are all mature women this beautiful nowadays?

"Excuse me, but may I know of your identity?" From behind Jay, Arith called out which made him turn around in shock.

If there was one thing Jay was incompetent in, it was communication with those that don't harbour any malicious intent towards him of all people.

"I...I'm the new elder of the sect, my name's Jay."

After a few moments, Jay finally calmed down and introduced himself.

He'll be in for trouble if he can't communicate well with Clarissa, haha. Arith then approached Jay who seemed confused and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Oh, about that, you see those dwellings which are over there, the sect master just improved them a moment ago and when cultivating in there, our cultivation speed can be ten percent faster than usual." Arith explained calmly, but Jay was already shocked by what he just heard.

What did Arith just say? Ten percent increase in cultivation speed and he mentioned that with a face saying that it wasn't much?

Coughing, Jay then asked, "Aren't you surprised by what your sect master just did?"

Arith glared at him with his eyes saying, you'll get used to this soon enough. "Trust me, the monthly surprise he mentioned would always shock us. This is nothing compared to what he has in store for us in the future."

Jay closed his eyes, bracing himself to what Ace might surprise him with in the future, only to feel the world crumbling before his eyes when Ace took out the spirit seed of the tree.

"From now on, this will be the only cultivation ground that doesn't cost any merit points in the sect." Ace said first before adding on his explanation.

"The only reason I'm doing this is to let you all know that while the sect is helping you to develop, it isn't for free. One day, I need all of you to represent the sect in various competitions, in alchemy, in forging, in cultivation, in weapon terms! The only way would be to constantly improve."

Taking a deep breath, Ace then added on solemnly, "From next month onwards, the bounty board will have higher difficulty missions of rank D, I hope that all of you can complete at least one rank D mission next month."

"Yes, sect master!"

"Dismissed!"

Leaving the scene quickly, Ace then returned to the meeting hall and gathered all the elders.

Cidd who had just entered his cultivation session joined in as Ace got them to report their progress.

Of course, Jay didn't have a need to and when the other elders asked why, Jay would give them a similar answer. "When you guys hear of the four domains one day and beyond that, only then will you guys know my strength."

No one present understood what he meant, but didn't matter as they reported their progress.

Cidd had apparently broken through to the Great Martial Master realm.

Clarissa had officially become a 4th grade alchemist after refining her first 4th grade elixir.

Arith had become a 4th grade blacksmith capable of forging low grade rare weapons.

Everyone was constantly improving and soon, things would get heated up with the annual sect competition that's taking place in three months time.

But in order to qualify for participation, it's about time his sect gets officially recognised and since there was Cidd around, it was fine for him to still be at the Foundation realm.
