A young man in his early twenties excitedly looked at the screen of his computer which displayed a text based Naruto game's opening screen. It was something he had made as his starting project and even though it was text based, he was extremely excited to try his own creation. 

He looked at the [Press anywhere to start] and did as he was told, only to find the power go off.

"Huh? Is the inverter not working?" he muttered as he stood up to check what was going on, but just a he did, the power came back abruptly. Not only that, it came back at full force, as electrical sparks shot out of every single appliance that was in his room. 

As the computer was the closest to him, he was struck before he could react and for the next few seconds, he experienced hellish pain throughout his entire body until he lost consciousness. 

In the eternal darkness where there was no light, he stared at the translucent screen in front of him. It had a familiar layout as he was the one who designed it. 

"....." 

He was silent, but it was not because he wanted to stay silent. It was because he couldn't speak. He couldn't feel his body at all. After a few seconds, he realised that the only thing he could do was interact with the screen in front of him. 

Character customisation points: 110

'Huh?' 

Even though he couldn't speak, he could still think. 

'I thought the maximum points given at the start was only 10... but if I consider the rewards gained from playing the game multiple times, 110 was indeed the maximum amount.'

He then glanced at the next few options and slowly began to use up his points. 

Chakra Control Talent: None -> F

Ninjutsu Talent: None -> F

Taijutsu Talent: None -> F

Genjutsu Talent: None -> F

Physique Quality: None -> F

Chakra Quantity: None -> F

Each of the above consumed 1 points each to go from no talent to F grade. The reason he didn't level them up to max was because he could do it while he played, or in the current situation, "live" his life as a ninja.

'Of course, that is only if I get into the Naruto world.'

The true points consumption came from the next few options. 

Elemental Mastery:

Fire: 5

Water: 5

Wind: 5

Lightning: 5

Earth: 5

Yin: 10

Yang: 10

Apart from the first 6 points, he spent another 45 points on the five basic and two rare elements.

Next was the clans. He disabled the Hyuga, Uzumaki and lastly, the Uchiha clans from the list before putting it on random. He could indeed select any one of those, but doing so would bring him a lot of bad luck. 

Also "selecting" a clan instead of randomising consumed character points, so he simply decided to save them.

Just selecting the Hyuga clan didn't guarantee him to be born into the main family and the probability of being born into the branch family was extremely high, at 95%. He didn't wish to go around working as a slave for the main branch so he pushed it aside. 

As for the Uzumaki clan, even though they were extremely strong, they would be annihilated during the third great ninja war and as for Uchiha, everyone knew what would happen a few years after the third great ninja war.

Even though he loved the sharingan, there were other methods. Since he was the creator of this game, he knew about the details of how his game worked, so he wasn't too worried. 

That was, of course, when assuming that he was in fact, playing his game. 

'Next... appearance.' he thought as he went ahead and invested points into appearance to the max, spending 5 points as appearance was divided into 5 grades.

He had picked random for clans, so he had another option to invest in and it was the "Clan Grade".

There were only three grades, the Clanless, Ninja Clan and lastly, the Special Clans. Clanless cost nothing, but Ninja Clan required 5 and the next one required a total of 10 points.

He had disabled most of the top clans, so without any hesitation, he invested the rest of his points to set his clan grade to Ninja Clan.

Next, he headed over to the Unique Enhancements section and excitedly read through the multiple options. 

Special enhancements, genjutsus, dojutsus (eye techniques like sharingan), kekkei genkai (combination of 2 basic elements) and kekkei tota (combination of three basic elements). 

Clan exclusive abilities weren't an option as those would be given only when he picked a particular clan, but he wasn't too sad about it as there were loop holes he could use. 

He directly picked the physical enhancement of his eyes and invested 2 points into it, bringing it to F grade. 

Dynamic Vision: None -> F 

Regenerative Boost: None -> F

Wood Release: None -> F

Private Dimension (Locked): None 

Perfect Control Ten Tails (Locked): None 

Unlike the first eight, the Unique Enhancements took 2 points each for one grade, so levelling up Dynamic Vision to SSS would require 18 points in total. It was the same for the other unique enhancements. 

As for private dimension and ten tails, they was currently locked and would unlock when certain conditions were met. These did not have any grades, so there wasn't much to worry about other than the conditions he would have to fulfill but each of them consumed 10 points at the start, totaling 20. 

'Well, it's pretty easy though. The most annoying condition is the age limit, but the other things are pretty easy to fulfill.'

Once everything was done, he had 23 points remaining, so he invested them into his wood release. In matter of seconds, it went up from F to SSS grade, but it also consumed 16 whole points to do so. 2 points for each upgrade.

As for the last 7 points, he invested it into Chakra Quantity, bringing it up from F to SS grade. Once all of his points were used up, a new screen appeared in front of him with multiple pictures of various creatures.

'Hehehe, let's go with this.

[Would you like to proceed with the current settings?]

'Yes.' he replied in his mind and the next moment, he felt his chest and throat burning up. 

He subconsciously opened his mouth and let out a wail, "Waaaaaaa!"
