Sam and gai were battling on top of a mountain both of them had blood all over them. Gai had help Sam absorbed all the battle experience he had seen when the book fused with him.
Sam was not able to open other gates as opening the gate will take a year at least and he does not have that kind of time and his prime focus was not taijutsu he had learned it to increase his physical fitness to a standard level.
After half an hour their fight ended. Sam desummoned gai and and returned to a small wooden cottage that he had built. he had made an ANBU take his place at school so that he could fully focus on train and today he was returning home.

They had crated a scroll was linked to a pocket dimension in which there were beasts of all kind and even dragons were present which had appeared mysteriously after the 1st had created trees and earth. After talking about how stable was the dimensions and getting a map of the pocket dimension he desummond them and called out 25 ANBU scouts to look for Tony in the desert area and report as fast as possible.

Today while he was out on a night watch he saw madam Gao near hell's kitchen. He waited and saw gao's men transport money three suit case full of It.
