BloodShot Pack

The boys brought Nicole's pack to their pack which caused inconvenience for her as she received nasty looks here and there, Her anxiety and fear caused by her old pack seemed to find their way back into her life/mind as she timidly hung her head low while following the twins and Stephano.

Once they got inside{The Alphas and Nicole} became the topic of gossip something she hated the most, but she didn't know what was happening out there.

"Sit," Alex said as he saw his mate still standing timid by the side of the office door. He knew she must have heard about the rumors one way or the other but that's a matter for another day.

"I don't think we should let her in with the recent things that have been happing I say it's not safe, what if she poses a threat to the pack," Stephano said to his friends and alphas through their mind link expecting to get a positive response.

"We don't need you to tell us how to run our pack and how to treat our mate," Alex said through gritted teeth. Alex wasn't the only one angry, his brother was as well.

Suddenly Nicole felt the temperature of the office drop,' Strange' she muttered under her breath soon enough she was no longer oblivious to the tension in the office.

It wasn't fair, how could Stephano say something like that, he knew how scared the boys especially Asher were scared they wouldn't find their mate or would have no mate as the moon goddess punished for them killing their father.

But what hurt them wasn't Stephano calling their mate a rogue but it was his attitude after finding out Nicole was their mate.

"So little mate, tell us where are you from?"Asher asked with a smirk playing on his lips as he turned to look at her startling Nicole who seemed to be in a daze. Feeling the stares of the twins and Stephano, she couldn't help but fumble with her words

"I-I-I-" seeing as she failed to form a proper sentence she quickly shut herself up fumbling with the edge of her black jumper.

"Muffin, he just asked you a question so answer with words...proper words," Asher asked with one of his eyebrows raised up as he stared at her, honestly he just wanted to know what pack she was from and why on earth she smells like a rogue even though her eyes are red.

As for Nicole, she was getting more and more nervous with every passing minute

"He just asked you a question, are you going to answer it or do we have to make you?"Stephano asked as he stared at her intensely.

'Answer me! What pack are you from"Stephano asked slamming his plan on a nearby table, As for Nicole, she flinched and whimpered as he did that,, tears were threatening to fall out as she remembered Bardon and some of her old pack members doing something similar whenever they felt like torturing her?

"Are there more off, where's your base"

'When do you plan to attack"

"Did you plan to use your newly found relation to get information for your leader" The more Stephano questioned the more agitated and angry he became not giving a chance for her to respond, the more Nicole was being questioned the more she was getting lost in the memory her old pack left her with?

As for the twins, they didn't know what to do, they knew they couldn't just stand and watch by the sideline but at the same time they wanted answers, it was true that she was a rogue and it's also possible she came from a rogue pack that's been causing problems lately, Thus they remained calm and quiet.

Nicole really didn't think about the possibility of her new mates standing up for her, she had no expectations of anybody anymore.

Seeing as the office door opened suddenly Ashley and Stella who were eavesdropping on the whole conversation suddenly fell to the ground groaning.

Everyone looked at the scene in front of them with different expressions on, Nicole had the most awkward one among them, and the twins, Alex's face was dark and Asher's was looking speechless, he knew when his younger sister got the news that they had brought back a girl or to be precise a rogue girl who they hadn't killed which was rather strange.

Seeing the expressions on everyone's faces Stella laughed nervously losing her usual bad-girl demeanor and Ashley? just stood there smiling sheepishly at her brothers.

Soon both of their eyes fell on to the awkward and timid yet cold look looking girl, they had to say she wasn't bad looking, she just looks thin like she was malnourished, they could guess she was the rogue and from what they just overhead, the twins mate.HA! Ashley No most of their pack members thought that it will difficult to find their mate or they may not have a mate, Ashley was happy her brothers got their mate and there was another girl in the group.

"Come" Ashley tugged on Nicole's hand as she quickly ran away from the scene with Stella quickly following after her. Honestly, everything happened so fast She couldn't comprehend it at all, one moment she was with her mates and his friend[she doesn't know he's their best friend] the next moment she saw two beautiful-looking girls on the ground as soon as the door was open, then she was taken away by the two beauties then, the next moment she was in a well-furnished room that looked like it came out of a manga or something, she was utterly confused.

"I'm Ashley and this is Stella," Ashley said with a huge smile on her face as she pointed to herself and Stella.

"So do we happen the honor of getting to know the name of such a beauty like you?"Ashley said with a flirty look, seeing her still silent like when she dragged her here with no reaction whatsoever, hmm interesting, maybe she thinks I'll steal my brothers away or something. Ashley said in her mind surprised then amused by Nicole's lack of reaction.

"Okay let me introduce myself properly," Ashley said as she prepared herself for Nicole's reaction, as for Nicole, just one sentence was lingering in her mind and was 'okay...is there a need though'

"I am Ashley Stone, sister of Alpha Alexander [ Alex], and Asher stone, your sister-in-law and new best friend" After Ashley finished speaking, she looked at Nicole expecting the same no reaction as earlier, but she got a response instead.

"N-Nicole," She said, her voice calm and collected.

"Such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl" Ashley squealed as she held Nicole's hand startling the poor girl.

"Don't worry you'll get used to lee's behavior" Stella said with a small smile, this was the first time she had spoken since they got here, so hearing her speak Nicole was a little bit stunned because her voice sounded so soft.

However, Nicole was still feeling skeptical about Ashley and Stella's kind attitude to her. Were they her friends or her enemies? will she have to go through the face of abandonment by friends for the second time or not? That was her questions but they still remained unanswered as no one could tell what would happen in the future.*sigh*

"El, I... You should stay away from her"Stephano said as he stared at his mate Stella.

"Why and who is this 'HER' you're talking about"Stella asked feeling confused as to why her mate asked her to stay away from Nicole.

"You know her, the rogue girl"

"You know, you're acting like an ass right now" Stella yelled feeling aggravated.

"You know I was once a rogue, you knew what I had to go through in the pack before I was accepted right? so why are you acting like that to the twin's mate, "Stella said on the verge of tears, she has always been strong but her mate acting like a dick towards his friend's mate was just something she didn't expect what's worst is the reason he gave for acting like that to Nicole, she knew she was also once a rogue before she was allowed into the pack[A story for another day].

"What if this was all a plan, to get her in and then get whatever information they need or the pack f**king secret El"Stephano yelled at his mate breathing heavily not daring to look her in the eye. he knew what he was doing was wrong but both of them were angry and he needed to let out his pent up anger.

"El.. you know-"He said sounding almost broken, he wanted to tell her he was doing this for the pack but he didn't have the guts to say it out loud.

"No, Just save it, I don't know whatever is going on in that mind of yours but what I do know is that you fix sh*t, "Stella said storming out of the room angrily with tears streaming down her cheeks.

But before Stella stormed out of the room, their whole conversation had already been heard by Nicole who was just passing by.

I guess no one truly wanted me, who was I kidding thinking I might be accepted by this pack? Nicole thought as a lone tear fell from her eyes.
