Chapter 6: To Middle School Pt.2

In Ros Middle School. A majority of students were doing something that they specialized in.

Due to Cain's advice, many students went out of the barrier and grabbed as many resources as they can.

Although that wasn't it, Cain also checked the status of many students and found out that not everyone had offensive type skills. Some had skills related to cleaning, cooking, farming, etc.

Demanda and Yui could be seen in a classroom on the second floor looking out the window in the direction Kai and Haruto went.

Yui opened her mouth first.

"Do you think that Kai and Haruto will make it back safely?"

Demanda changed her gaze to Yui, who had very similar features to Kai's.

Their hair, skin, eyes, and sometimes personality.

They really are siblings.

"I think they will. Kai has always been the one to do anything that he set his mind to and with Haruto alongside to support him, there was nothing they couldn't accomplish together."

Demanda then remembered the times when they teamed up. When they won a hotdog competition, a canoe race, and much more.

This might have been significantly different from what they'd done before, but she knew that everything was going to go well. Demanda looked back at the window.

"They will be back for sure."

My body, out of nowhere, suddenly felt heavy the moment I stepped inside the school. Maybe it was because one of my skills activated on its own.

I then looked into the context of this skill.

Which one was it? It couldn't be the first two. Then... who was in danger? Was it us two or somebody else?

I placed my hand on Haruto's shoulder.

"Hm? What is it?"

"We have to be quiet."

Haruto seemed to understand and so I lead the both of us where my [Detection] got stronger and stronger. We got out of the school building and were outside. But there wasn't a single person.

That was, until we heard the loud scream of someone.

"Kyaaaa!!"

It was right around the corner from a building that lead to what I could only guess was the open schoolyard.

Both of us rushed to the shout.

The moment we turned the corner, my eyes widen at the sight.

I didn't know how many students this school had, but at least more than 500 students were on their knees. Almost every single one of them was crying.

That alone made me angry, but I then noticed something else.

I turned my head behind the students and there it was...

... I could see eight bodies disfigured. They were most likely dead.

My face distorted at the sight.

"Hahaha!"

"What's so scary?!"

I heard a voice and looked at the culprits.

I could see a group of 40 other students standing over the ones on the ground.

Just a single glance was able to tell me that these guys were no good.

These guys! What the hell are they doing?!

I felt anger boiling inside of me the more I stared.

Then, someone taller than the rest of them approached the students on the ground with a smile on his face.

"Hey. One of you go and find the girl that screamed."

One of the standing students followed the taller one's orders.

All of a sudden, a system message popped up in front of me.

So this is what this skill is.

Thanks to this, I now know that his status is nothing compared to mine. Although there was one thing that worried me about his entire status.

One of the guys found the girl that screamed earlier and dragged her by the hair. He then threw her in front of Ken.

Ken, still smiling, grabbed the terrified girl by her neck.

"I've been nice to all of you girls, but I guess you want to do this the hard way, haha."

He then disgustingly licked the girl's face.

"P-please stop."

"Haha! What makes you think I would stop?! Don't you know that I am the boss here?!"

He then let the girl out of his grasp and smiled more insidiously.

"I think it is time to move on to the next phase."

"Is it time?" One of his group members asked.

Ken nodded and shouted out,

"Let's begin now! Kill all the guys here and then we'll go to our next destination!"

The moment I heard those words, my body felt like punching that guy's face with all my strength.

Just as I was about the move, the person next to me reacted faster.

Haruto, at full speed, ran towards Ken and with a clenched fist, landed one hit on his face.

The hit caused ken to get down on one knee. Everyone there, including myself, looked at Haruto with wide eyes.

"You sons of bitches are disgusting...!"
