" So, what's your plan for now?"
In the middle of the training ground, Sanada sat with Kakashi as they watched Sanada's clone were battling the little disciples.
" To be honest, I don't really have a plan. I just want to enjoy my life. After all, I am just a normal person, right?"
Sanada gave a smile, but obviously, Kakashi wouldn't buy it.
Don't really have any plan.. it was like Sanada's way to say that everything was okay, and they should not concern themselves with his trouble.
Still, Kakashi was the type that could read the mood, and he definitely wouldn't spoil Sanada's plan just like that.
He just nodded as he observed Sanada for a while.
The atmosphere turned a bit quiet. For the two, there were a lot of things that they wanted to talk about. But at the same time, sometimes action represents more than words. And just seeing that each other was okay was enough.
Kakashi though, after some time decided to break the silence.
" By the way, I haven't said my thank you for what you have done.."
" ??? "
" No need to act stupid. If it's not for you, maybe I would always try to escape. My father's death.. maybe now I could finally let go of it.."
" ..... "
Even though Kakashi might not act like it, it was inevitable that the death of his father had always bugged him. For his father to commit suicide, he always felt there was something bigger behind this.
Now he had realized that it was all the work of the elders. Even though Kakashi felt a bit betrayed, he could finally sigh relief as a huge burden had been lifted from his heart.
The wind blew between the two. Sanada didn't really know what to respond to for things like this. After all, his initial goal was actually to reduce the power of the elder group.
Nonetheless, he, in the end gave a smile at Kakashi. Whether it was intentional or not, it couldn't be denied that the end result was one that was favorable to Kakashi.
Still, it seemed that peace always didn't last that long for Sanada.
Just after the training was over and Sanada was about to give the feedback to the disciples.
A small messenger clay bird came from Deidara.
' Sensei, we have a bit of trouble here. Akatsuki, they have invaded Suna.'
As Sanada went to deal the matter with Konoha, he tasked Deidara to foresee the situation of ninja world and reported it to him.
The Kaedehara foundation, other than sheltering orphans and giving him a better future, also has a secret function of Sanada's personal network, and information flew very fast through it.
Sanada read the notice, and a frown appeared on his face.
It seemed that Akatsuki really had no intention to give up.
Nevertheless, the fact that Deidara only wrote attack and not captured means that his preparation in Suna had proved to be successful.
Sanada closed the message as he sighed. Things going to be troublesome soon, he thought.
And right, not long after, anbus came and called Sanada.
. . . . . .
- Tsunade's office -
Inside the office, Sanada was currently sitting right in front of Tsunade.
" Is it Suna and Akatsuki?"
Sanada turned to Tsunade as he opened the topic of the discussion,
Tsunade looked startled at first, but she soon seemed to think of something and just shook her head.
" Yeah... but it is not the main problem. The Akatsuki.. if only one or two members came to attack, then it wouldn't be that much of a problem. The main issue is whether they would come in group..."
Hearing this, Sanada understood where Tsunade's worries came from.
A group of Kage-level ninjas came to invade.
Even though Konoha was strong, a group of Kage-level ninja was just way too much.
Furthermore, things might get a bit troublesome if they had attacked the other villages first and Konoha was able to defend against their attack.
It would show the disparity in the powers between the ninja village, and it wouldn't be strange if Konoha became a public enemy.
For a time like this, the balance couldn't be broken yet. Konoha was not strong enough, and if they were to face the siege of four big ninja villages like before +Akatsuki, the hope of surviving was pretty small.
However, Tsunade forgot to consider one thing, and that is Sanada.
For the past two years, even though Sanada had reported most of the important parts to Tsunade, he still decided to conceal some secretive parts.
Sanada listened to all Tsunade's worries and a smile rose in his face.
" Don't worry... If it is just this, they should pose not much of a trouble for us."
Sanada patted Tsunade on her shoulder. He then continued.
" Let's just send Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto. I think the three of them were enough for Suna's reinforcement. And for now, let's just stay low and observe."
Obviously, there were a lot of questions in Tsunade's mind at this time.
However, out of her trust in Sanada, she decided to just stay quiet and follow Sanada's arrangement.
After two years of not meeting each other, Tsunade also wanted to see just how far Sanada had grown and gained in his journey that she was not able to witness with her own eyes.
