Ch 144 : Deidara get???

As Deidara's words fell, Sanada was clearly dumbfounded.

He had prepared some more rhetorics, trying to get Deidara into his side.

However, was it always this easy?

Swimming in front of the huge Sanbi was Lapras.

During the moment when he created a shadow clone to contend against Sasori, Sanada had also summoned Lapras and asked Lapras to find Sanbi.

Based on Sanada's estimation, it should take a few days or so to find Sanbi as the area they needed to explore was pretty huge.

Nonetheless, it seems the luck was on their side.

Sanada looked at Sanbi with an eager expression.

After he had learned sage mode, it was finally the time where he could fully test the extent of his sage mode.

" Lapras!"

" Yeah, thank you Lapras; I will take it from here."

After the simple interaction, Sanada stopped caring about everything else as he jumped toward Sanbi.

The opponent might be huge and strong, but above the sea, Sanada's confidence was unmatched.

He saw the huge Sanbi, and now was the time to find the true emperor of the sea.

The first was a frontal confrontation.

Sanada actually was not the type that liked this kind of battle.

However, he really wanted to try his attack against this kind of enemy this one time.

Gathering a huge amount of water in his hand, Sanada launched a huge water spear that was even twice the size of one that he threw toward Sasori.

" Yarinami!!!!!"

A huge explosion occurred as the Huge spear wave collided with the huge body of Sanbi.

However, it was way too early to celebrate.

The moment the explosion disappeared, all Sanada could see was a huge tail sweeping at his way.

' Danger!'

" Lapras!!!" Lapras told Sanada to run as he used surf to try countering the Sanbi's attack

In the Manga and Anime, it wasn't really shown how Deidara alone was able to handle Sanbi, and it made Saanda think that Sanbi was pretty weak. But just now did he realize the true strength of a Bijuu. Lapras's surf was able to hold off some of the impacts from Sanbi's tail. But in the end, Sanada still needed to dodge as his body couldn't bear the huge impact of the collision.

He saw that the tail had slowed down a bit, so activating the lightning chakra mode, he quickly jumped before he landed back on Lapras's back.

"Lapras?"

"It's okay! I'm just underestimating him a bit. If I went into the sage mode, handling him should be no trouble to me."

"Lapras?"

" Yeah, I'll be counting you for it. Lapras, please hold him for a while, while I gather the natural energy."

"Lapras!"

Lapras nodded his head with a firm expression as if saying that you could count on me.

After reaching a consensus, Lapras's body suddenly turned bigger, and now it was about the size of Sanbi.

During his time on the Pacific Island, Sanada got to realize that the Lapras here didn't need the Dynamax band to Gigantamax. All they needed was some training, and when they reached adulthood, they could gigantamax all they wanted.

Still, even with Gigantamax, on all levels, Lapras was absolutely incomparable to the Sanbi.

Sanada needed to be fast, or else Lapras would be in danger.

Sanada left the battle area a bit as he sat in a cross-legged position. For sage mode, Sanada still needed some preparation and he wasn't able to enter it instantaneously.

He wasn't like naruto, who had the Kyuubi to gather Natural energy, and therefore he could only rely on himself to do it, just like what the adult Naruto does in Boruto after losing his partner.

' Lapras, please hold on for a while. 2 Minutes... Just two minutes are enough.'

Along with that, Sanada began to close his eyes as he could only hope that Lapras was strong enough to buy him some time.
