Ch 12 : The calm before the storm

At one of the Konoha council member's houses, Danzo was drinking tea with his old companions, Koharu and Homura.

" So, Danzo.. Is it really okay for your nephew to be put in there?"

Homura asked. Her face was filled with confusion.

" Well, it's okay. If it is him, there should be no trouble."

Said Danzo calmly, his face looking indifferent.

However, Koharu and Homura were confused about how Danzo was so confident with his nephew.

A few days ago, a huge conflict broke out between Danzo and Hiruzen.

Hiruzen wanted to put Tenma, who was also a Genius of Konoha, under his Jonin. But Danzo, on the other hand, felt since Tenma was his nephew, he should be joining the roots.

Normally, Hiruzen would not argue too much with something like this.

But he recently felt like the younger generation of Konoha was a bit too weak. And giving Tenma, who was one of the best of the young generation, alongside Kakashi to Danzo might be a bit too much.

Furthermore, he had heard that the Anbu also found a suspicious unknown person lingering around Tenma. But because of Danzo's interference, they could do nothing to him.

In the end, the two decided to take a step back.

Hiruzen's argument was he wanted to make sure that Tenma didn't have any bad motives toward Konoha and asked him to stay in the Konoha ward for at most two years.

After that, Danzo could freely take Tenma.

Yup, he was just buying time. He hoped that in the two years, the other younger generation, like Asuma and the others, could surpass Tenma.

And now, after knowing the full story, Koharu and Homura saw Danzo was drinking leisurely with them and could not help but worry.

" Danzo, are you sure? If you want, we could ask for a favor toward Hiruzen."

" Yes Danzo, we are all old comrades. So shouldn't we help each other?"

The two spoke their opinion. But Danzo just shook his head.

He put down the cup of tea in his hand.

" Don't worry. That boy is not as simple as he seems. And I will treat this as a test for him."

Said Danzo. And after he said this, there's no way the other two councilors could only stay silent while sighing their breath helplessly.

Back to Tenma, he had now arrived at Konoha's Hospital.

Though he was not a doctor in his previous life, there was a topic about the medical jutsu in the ninja academy, and now he had a certain level of understanding of the medical system of this Boruto's Dad World.

The medical ninjutsu techniques are based on repairing cells through specific chakra use and also stimulating cell division and regeneration to replace non-reparable cells. This comes together and allows wounds to recover quickly.

Things about medicine or antibiotics were rare here, and most of the trouble was usually solved with Healing jutsu.

Or, to make the term simpler, everything was magic.

Though their first impression was not that good, the Instructor, whose name was later revealed to be Mr. Sakaguchi, still did his job well.

After they arrived at the Konoha Hospital, Sakaguchi showed Tenma how to learn medical ninjutsu.

For a strong healing effect, one would need to have a good amount of chakra, but the technique remains unchanged anyway.

"Learning to heal is like learning control over an element of the five elements. It's like having a healing affinity. To master healing, we need to use the mystical palm technique or ninja scalpels, so we need to learn how to do shape transformation." Sakaguchi carefully explained to Tenma.

After all, the Third Hokage specially assigned him to do this. And even though he was instructed not to be too lenient with Tenma, he still needed to ensure that he had taught Tenma carefully. Who knew what good background this kid might have?

Unfortunately, the practice of the mystic palm technique wasn't as simple as flipping one's hand.

While Tenma actually thought he would be let to try, Sakaguchi instead handled him a huge amount of books.

An emergency rack was pushed around, and the people around it couldn't help but have a nervous expression.

Because this time, a big accident had happened. The nephew of the Daimyo had an accident when he tried to visit Konoha a few hours ago.
