Chapter 5

I finally finish running the twenty laps as I collapsed on the floor breathing heavily. Jonin Arasaka has been on a tree watching me run and stop any use of chakra to ease the punishment.

'Alright! All of you form up.' he said as Leia and Yuta rushed quickly to my side. Arasaka

'You are to go through a test with me.I will stay within the confines of this training ground. I will release one shadow clone to attack and defeat you. The ones that impress me will stay the rest will head to the genin corps.

Immediately a shadow clone was formed and dashed towards us. We split into three directions to force it to choose one of us.

'By the way… you have ten minutes to defeat it or you all fail.No secret tests… no look underneath the underneath… straight assault against a superior opponent. Survive.'

The clone was following Yuta. Leia and I regrouped and wayched a bit as Yuta kept running and dodging attacks haphazardly.

'Do you have a plan?' she asked

'Yes. Attack but always from opposite sides. Teamwork will be our only hope.Use your bloodline please.'

Immediately she was gone. Swift release is really something. I started charging up a cleave. Rotating the chakra construct to make it even more deadly before following with a flashstep.

I arrived to see the clone punching Yuta into a tree as it blocked an attack from Leia. I immediately released the Cleave from my sword but the clone substituted out of the way.

Leia rushed and got Yuta out of the way of a kick which broke the tree. I attacked the clone with dozens of slashes but it kept dodging out of the way before sneaking in a high kick which connected with my head amd sent me rolling.

Fuck. Genjutsu won't work as this is a clone made of chakra there is no brain to connect to.Leia flashed to my side as I was in a daze and got me away from Arasaka.

'Bro. This is a clone of a jonin and we are getting whooped out here.' said Yuta.

'We need one solid hit thats all.' Leia remarked but I wasn't feeling as enthusiastic as her.

'I will create one shadow clone to fire off my jutsus from range while we occupy the clone from close range. Best I can think off.' I said

'Then you better get started.' said the voice of Arasaka from behind us before punching me amd kicking both Leia and Yuta in opposite directions.

'3 minutes remaining.'

I quickly created a clone and it moved backwards and threw cleaves at sensei as he kept weaving through all of them.

I practiced the Konoha Leaf Flow Kenjutsu style which aims to be fast and precise with each strike flowing into another. I even add in some cleaves to take him off guard but no miso.

Leia keeps her hit and run style but keps missing and sensei dodges them before grabbing her and putting her in the way of a cleave from my clone.

Yuta steps foward and blocks it but his sword is broken in the process. Leia quickly grabs hold of her sensei's arms to stop him from moving. Yuta throws his hilt at him to distract him which he dodges but doesn't see me come up from behind him quickly with flashsteps and swiftly behead him popping the clone.

Sensei Arasaka looks at us soften before sighing,

'I was hoping to fail you. You pass. Gear up tomorrow we train for a week before heading to the battlefield.' he said
