She could tell that he was wearing the protective Vest of the Chunin exam, and Shingen looked about the same age as her, maybe a year older than her, so she was curios. She knows everything about the handsome guys of the same age around her, but she dosen't know anything about Shingen, who surpassed all of them.
"How much?" But to her question, Shingen still had an impassive expression, and he pointed to the flowers in his hand and asked.
"Ahh... that will be 20 Ryō"
Shingen took out his wallet from the ninja fanny pocket on his left leg, handed Ino a 20 Ryō coin, and then turned to leave.
"Thank you for your patronage!" Ino said from behind with some embarrassment, but Shingen didn't stop an quickly walked out of the Shop and disappeared from Ino's sight.
"Alas....." Ino sat down at the table with her head bowed and muttered to herself, feeling a little depressed, this was the first time she had been completely ignored.
But another Customer soon entered the Store, and Ino had no choice to classify the encounter as over.
"You're probably dead..... but i will continue to live in the name you gave me." Shingen sat in front of two tombstones side by side and placed the flowers he brought on the tombstones. He closed his eyes, paid his respects quietly, and after a moment stood up and left the cemetery.
The sun has set in the West, and red light fills the sky. Soon after, Shingen came to a wooden two story Building, took out the key, and enters the house. He took of his shoes at the door, put them aside in an orderly manner, and put on the slippers he had prepared at home.
This is the house left behind by his parents, who are both Chunin's who built the house togehter after completing countless D-class and C-class missions. Mow that he has inherited the house, he no longer needs to sleep out on the street when he first arrived.
Climbing the stairs, Shingen come to his room on the second floor, took out his comfortable clothing from the closet, and walked towards the bathroom. After taking a shower, Shingen put on a black shirt and brown pants, and his hair slightly wet.
After tidying up, he went downstairs and started cooking dinner. Dinner consisted of a bowl steamed rice with pork chops, a bowl of miso soup, and some side dishes as kimchi an salad.
"Itadakimasu" Shingen picked up the chopsticks and sat alone at the dining table. After completing the opening ceremony, he began to enjoy dinner. Outside of Swordsmanship, Shingen favourite thing is cooking, an he has become an excellent chef, and the food he makes is delicious.
After dinner, Shingen washed the dishes, change into his sleeping clothes - a white sleeveless shirt and black shorts, and then went to his room, lay down on the bed and quickly fell asleep. Because tomorrow he needs to complete a task.
As a Chunin, he was paid far from enough to make ends meet, so he would complete a B-level or C-level task every month.
Next day Konoha Mission Assignment Center:
Whether it's a Genin, a Chunin or a Jonin, every ninja will be tasked with it. For the Village, it's a kind of acquisition.
A great way to earn a lot of money. The mission assignment center is located in the Hokage Building, and most of the tasks are assigned by he Hokage himself.
"Where are the two of them?" said a blonde woman with a purple diamond-shaped mark on her forehead, dressed in a grass-green Haori and a sleeveless gray Kimono. Behind her stood a woman with a pig in her arms, dressed in a black Kimono.
Ino was wearing her usual purple outfit and cursed, and half an hour passed an Shikamaru and Choiji still hadn't arrived.
"I'm sorry for the trouble, Hokage-sama." Ino bowed 90 degrees to the woman in front of her, knowing that the other person's time was precious an that she had to apologize.
"Don't worry, just pay attention next time" Tiered Tsunade waved her hand, completely unconcerned even though she was working very hard.
"Alas.... I want to drink something...." Tsunade leaned back in her chair an looked up at the ceiling above, too tired to speak.
"Hokage-sama, please be a little serious, you hardly send out tasks, and you are not qualified to complain." Hearing her words, Shizune couldn't help but complain with a straight face, because Tsunade almost never sends out tasks.
She always gives her tasks to her or other Shinobi, and then spends her days lazy. Today she arrived at the mission assignment centre four months later, still complaining, silent and not knowing what to say.
Just then, the door was pushed open, and a man with black hair and lazy eyes walked in. He wears a standard green flat jacket, a black shirt and black pants.
"Shikamaru, where have you been? I've been waiting for a long time!" Ino shouted loudly, looking at Shikamaru who had a troubled look on his face.
"I went to look for Choji, but he got sick from overeating..... It's really troublesome....." Shikamaru said as he rubbed his ears with an annoyed expression, life bothering him more and more. Sometimes he envies the clouds, which a free and undisturbed, and his live is always full of tasks.
"He's sick..... so he is not coming, so how are we going to complete the mission?" said Ino as they had to complete a B-class mission today to deal with to renegades from Iwagakure. In a nearby town, they were found and killed many people in the town. The two Rouge Ninjas are both Jonins, and the Anbus have already located their positions, and they just need to deal with them.
The three of them together can deal with two Jonins, but now that there is no Choiji, things have become difficult.
"So, do you still want to take on this task?" asked Tsunade seeing the situation.
"...Let's give up....." Shikamaru made a sad expression, but his eyes revealed his happiness because today he could finally rest.
Hearing his words, Ino thought for a moment, and just as she was about to give up, the door was pushed open and a handsome and sharp face walked into the room.
"Huh?" the man was slightly stunned when he saw Tsunade at the Table, because it had been more a year since he last seen her. But he didn't care too much, shook his head and strode towards the woman who was looking at him.
"Tsunade-sama" Shingen came to Tsunade and bowed slightly, because she was the Hokage, he needed to give her some respect. With his strength, although there is no need to bow, Shingen is not the kind of person who will be proud and complacent when his strength increases.
He dosen't have great dreams like being the Hokage, he already reached the pinnacle of swordsmanship and has no other ambitions. He just wanted to live quietly, if possible to marry an ordinary woman in the later years of his life, to have children, and to protect them with his power if they were in trouble.
This Village is where his Parents lived and died for it, and if something happens to this village, he will do his best to protect it. This is the only thought in his heart.
