Walking on the sand in Land of Wind, Hina had her cheeks puffed. She was annoyed at Kazutora for making her walk on the sand under the sun, and looking at her reaction, Kazutora just laughed.
He had been trying what it feels for ninjas to go from one country to another while running, and only now did he understand how laborious the work was.
'Trains are mandatory. After all, not everyone can just create a Wood Clone or Shadow Clone, and then teleport to the location with Flying Thunder God Technique.'
'In future, airplanes will be built too but for now, Trains are enough. The Land of Snow has Trains, and that technology needs to be spread in the world.'
Kazutora thought in his mind with a flicker in his eyes, and he noticed some people walking in their direction. Hina stared in the direction with a scowl on her face, and Kazutora patted her head with a thoughtful look.
They kept on walking until they were stopped by a group of men who were driving and guarding a carriage drawn by camels.
"Stop," Someone in the group said and Kazutora looked at them.
"Do you have water?" They asked with a gleam in their eyes and Kazutora tilted his head.
"Yes, why?"
"Can you give some to us? We have been looking for an oasis but couldn't find one." They said and Kazutora released his senses. A strange look flashed on his face when he noticed that they came from the direction of an oasis and Kazutora said, "Here."
He took out a bottle from his seal with a flicker in his eyes, and Hina stared at the scene with a curious look on her face. She wondered what Kazutora was planning to do since she had also seen the oasis at their words.
Kazutora saw their eyes gleaming at his actions, and they turned to look at each other. Looking at them, Kazutora sighed, and he understood that they were bandits.
He saw them taking out kunai and Knives in their hands and circling around them.
"Give all the water and food you have, and we will let you leave."
Hearing their words, Hina looked around and she couldn't help but chuckle at their audacity. Even the Daimyo and Kazekage of Land of Wind would kneel to Kazutora, and they had the guts to threaten him.
"What if we don't?" Kazutora asked with a playful smirk on their face and their expression changed at his words.
"You know, I am Jonin Class Ninja! Jonin! It would be better if you just surrender and give everything." A bearded man said as he looked at Kazutora while releasing some of his chakras, and Kazutora glanced at him.
"With your pitiful amount of chakra, which village did even assign you Jonin Class? Why don't you visit my Konoha for a checkup and know how strong a Jonin is?" Kazutora said with a smile on his face and their expression changed at his words.
"K-Konoha? Y-You are a Shinobi?" The man asked with a flicker in his eyes and saw the woman beside him chuckling. Only then did he notice that they had been ignoring her from the start, and his eyes widened as he looked at those white pupils.
"H-Hyuga! Run!" He said as he looked at Hina's eyes, and everyone started to run away at his words. It was then, they felt a heavy pressure on them, and everyone felt their bodies getting heavier.
It became impossible for them to even take a step, and they heard Kazutora's words, "Form a line and sit down while facing me."
Their body started to move on their own, and their eyes widened as they understood that they had met someone who was leagues above them.
"What are you going to do with them?" Hina asked with a curious look on her face, and she saw Kazutora smirking at her. He then created two wooden chairs for them, and from the ground, various trees grew up and covered the area while they were surrounded by four walls.
"W-Wood Release? W-White hair? B-Blue Eyes? K-K-K-Kazutora-Sama, The God of Ninja world?"
They took a good look at Kazutora and only now they understood that they were facing someone whom even the whole world couldn't defeat.
"Yeah, It's me. Now, I will ask questions while you will answer them, alright?"
"Yes!" They answered instantly as they heard him and saw Kazutora and the Hyuga beside him sitting on a chair.
"Why did you all not attack and ask for surrender? Even if you are Jonin, you are better than most Chunin and you could just snatch everything if I was just a civilian or a Genin."
Their expression changed at his words, and they looked at the bearded man, who was their leader.
"We are not bandits, but stealing is the only way for us to get food and resources. We don't kill and instead ask them to give away while showing strength and in return, we send them away to their location while hiding behind."
"So, you charge protection fees? Huh!" Kazutora said with a chuckle, and he saw a confused look on their faces.
"Rather than resorting to theft, why not form a large group that could assist in desert travel? Or was it that the village and Daimyo did not permit it?"
"We didn't think of this, but even if we did that, Suna wouldn't allow it since they also receive tasks like these."
"What about joining Suna and working with them?"
"Heh! They can't even feed their villagers, why would they allow us to join them? Besides, it's not just us but we have many people who we are working for. Most of them are nomads and some were displaced in previous wars and skirmishes happening."
Kazutora nodded at his words, and he understood what they meant. He turned to Hina with a flicker in his eyes and asked, "What do you think should be done with them?"
"Huh? Me?" Hina asked with a confused look on her face. Even if she was head of the Hyuga Clan, she just left this type of work to Hiashi and others, and now hearing his words, her mind blanked for a second.
"Hmm!" Hina hummed while staring at them. First, she asked if they did something wrong? Yeah, they did something wrong but didn't kill, like bandits so extermination won't be the punishment.
Then, she thought of what they were doing and, in the end, Hina sighed and said, "Let's just help them so they won't have to do this in future. Since we can do this, we will do it. If we couldn't, then I would have thought of punishing and stopping them."
Their eyes widened as they heard the words and saw Kazutora chuckling at Hina's answer.
"You aren't wrong but giving away for free would be foolish. They need to be punished since they were stealing from us, but what punishment should be given is the major point here."
"Why don't you think one, Hina?" Kazutora asked while staring at Hina and saw her rolling her eyes. She understood that he was trying to teach or show her something, and Hina stared at the group.
"Your punishment is to save the lives of 10 people and help 100 people. Also, don't make a fake situation or something since everything can be known. What do you think, Kazu? This should be okay."
"Hmm," Kazutora hummed as he heard the words and saw the confused looks of the group. His eyes flickered as he thought of something and said, "Get up and take us to the place you all live."
"I will look around first and then see what you need and how you have been treating others. You said that you are working for the people behind you, right? Let's see how they think of you and how you have been treating them."
Their expression changed at Kazutora's words, and they could only stare at their lead. Yousuke sighed at Kazutora's words, and he knew that even if he didn't want to, they could find the settlement easily.
Just the fact that they were asking him to take them away showed that they weren't treating him as a prisoner and gave him some respect.
"I will take you to our settlement, Kazutora-Sama," Yousuke said and he noticed the pressure on his body disappearing. He got up with his group members and Kazutora nodded at him.
He turned towards Hina, who was staring at him with her cheeks puffed and he said, "It will be a new experience for you."
Hina stared at him for a second and then nodded at him. She decided to see what he was talking about, and Hina and Kazutora followed the group members while sitting inside the carriage.
"What are you thinking of doing?" Hina asked Kazutora, who stared outside the window.
"I just want to see the world and how others live. We have been training and cooping ourselves in Konoha, and we have only seen one aspect of people and how they live."
"How would you develop the world if you don't even know how everyone lives? The problems that we found in the past were the problems we were facing."
"That's why I am going to travel the world and observe everything. I'll engage with people, share in their everyday lives, understand the challenges they face, and explore what can be done to resolve these issues."
"Besides, I sensed a disturbance in Dragon Veins in Roran, and we will be going there. I am sure that we are going to visit a certain space-time from the disturbance, and that will be our date."
Hina stared at Kazutora as she heard the words, and she shook her head. She didn't understand why he was keen on helping the world and even after he explained, she didn't understand most of it.
But she knew that she would get time to accompany him and travel around with him, and that's all Hina needed, and she cared for. If he wants to do something, he can. She will just accompany him and keep on looking at him.
"Just do whatever you want, I will accompany you."
"Hmm, I know," Kazutora said as he heard the words and saw Hina deadpanning at his words. He squeezed her cheeks as he looked at her deadpan and asked, "Why did Hana allow you to go first?"
"Let's not talk about that," Hina said with a glint in her eyes as she heard the words. She didn't want to mention how she mixed her food with sleeping pills after consulting Tsunade, who deadpanned at her but gave the pills away.
Kazutora looked at Hina, and he knew what she had done since Tsunade had informed him about her antics, and Kazutora didn't know whether to laugh or cry at their antics. He knew that Hana would be annoyed when she woke up, and that's why, he had decided to do something better for her in future.
