It was a dictate of destiny from which no one could escape. Wain Norheim was the world's best assassin and the only one who didn't get a soul. However, he was destined to gain the power to confront fate. Escaping through a portal into another world, he unknowingly began the apocalypse. Even the world failed to expel him.

Defeat in a Draw

If one wanted to win a battle, facing an immortal opponent would be the biggest mistake.

It was impossible to win a battle against an immortal unless the opponent could actually be killed. In that case, one could only hope for a draw if the opponent himself wanted to stop dueling.

World of Darkness didn't want to admit it, but when the chains and the huge orb appeared, World of Darkness tried to seal Alucard. It was the only way to defeat an immortal being without killing it.

Everyone realized that this tactic could work, only if Alucard didn't possess such insane destructive power, this plan would definitely leave him in the open forever.

"Damn... Now I see what you were talking about earlier." Ereg muttered with a complicated expression while looking at the many bright purple flashes.

Every second Alucard tried to revive and succeeded, but before he could do anything, the flaming spheres turned him into nothing.
