Fares looked at the man's wound intently. There were many black spots on his intestines.

Fares frowned and turned to Healer Raya, asking, "Do you have any idea what attacked him?"

Healer Raya shook her head, "I could not ask him directly, as he was already unconscious when he arrived here."

"And who brought him here?"

"They were hunters who were just going on a hunt not so far away from the village." Healer Raya answered, recalling what the hunters had told her.

The wound was too big for a small venomous animal to have caused it. At the same time, it absolutely looked like venom has entered his body.
