Chapter 145

The woman ran away through a bunch more alleys before finally coming in front of an apparently shabby building. 

This building had only one floor and signs of deterioration could be seen on its walls and roof. Some stones were even gone showing just how long since this place was maintained.

"Hahahaha! You reached a dead end. Let us see where will you run off to now." The human said with a creepy smile on his face, he finally had her cornered. That cheeky ice elf.

However, the woman paid him no attentionas she turned around the knob on the door to the house. The door creaked before falling to the ground. This was how maintained the house was. In the next moment, the woman took her child and entered the shabby house dissappearing from the human's view.

"You still think you can run? I will show you just how scary can I be." The human said as his expression turned ugly once more.
