Chapter 144

In a small house somewhere in the kingdom.

A little girl was sitting down hugging her heavily panting mother tightly.

"Mommy, are we going to die, too? But I don't want to die." The little girl started crying as she remembered the scene that happened before.

They were one of the unfortunate souls that could not make it out of the city in time. When the rebels attacked, they were out in the shopping district, buying their daily necessities.

At first, there was a huge commotion that occured due to an explosion in the far away distance. The woman took her little girl's hands and tried to get back to their home where it was much safer.

She was a paranoid person by nature, so she chose to escape rather than stay and watch the scenes unfold in front of her until it was too late.

However, as they were passing by people to escape, a huge human stood in front of them.
