Wave 3.

Nate and his horde has not gone too far, in fact, they were still in the base premises when they started to hear rumbles on the ground, they had stopped to know what was happening and with no doubt, they already know it is a beast wave attack, however, since they were kicked out of the base they had no reason to help since their bits of help were neglected.

However, it was at this moment, they could see a figure running towards them though it was far, they were able to see that it was Tony and Mini.

"Please! We need your help, the base needs you guys please!" Tony was yelling from afar before he reached them.

"Please, we are being attacked, that Hulky guy wants to kill me, and now he is fighting daddy and mommy please save them," Mini said crying genuinely.

"Now we won't understand what you guys are talking about, is it the beast wave or is there another problem?" Lyon said kind of angry though.

Tony know that he might have confused them so he explained what was currently happening in the base.

"So that it, he is now a superhuman and decided to take over the base, wasn't that what you guys were afraid that we will do and now someone that has lived with you guys his now attempting to kill you, however, I don't really find a reason why we should help, right?" Nate said while looking at the others but their facial expression wasn't matching what he expected.

"Fine, we will help anyway, but only on one condition, all the beast crystals will be ours," Nate finally agreed.

"Who cares, as long as you can take them down, do it already," Tony shouted.

The beasts were now visible, they have all knocked down all the trees in their way as they strive to reach out to the base.

"Someone is already doing that," Nate muttered.

On looking at the beast, the others could see that some were suddenly dropping to the ground. But what was more shocking is that they could not see what was attacking the beasts.

"No way, those crystals are mine," Lyon shouted and transformed himself into a hybrid of wolf and porcupine. His entire body was covered in grey fur while his back, they were growing out of spikes.

The others seeing this have to take a step back to distance themselves from Lyon. Meanwhile, Lyon jumped into the cloud of beasts in his hybrid form and swung his claws at a beast in front of him. It was a dog beast and it was sliced off by the claw effortlessly while Lyon moved to another.

"I doubt that they will be a beast that can escape from those two hands, but I can't let them take all the glory," Twain said as he leapt over the car that has a machine gun set in on top.

The tornado started to gather on his fist as he pulled the trigger. The gun became not only silent but its bullet was destructive. One of the bullets has just hit a lizard I'm it's head and exploded soon after it did that. It was as if a grenade has been thrown into the beast's mouth.

"How is that possible," Johnson who has been using the gun could not believe his eyes. The matching gun was powerful but not to the extent of exploding a beast. In his hand, it was hard for him to even kill a beast without at least using three or more bullets on it, but Twain just killed a beast with one bullet, all that Johnson could think of was that it has something to do with his power.

Meanwhile, Twain was sucking and condensing more air into his fist as he infuse them into the gun modifying its damage effect and even turning the sounds off if one was not looking at him now, they will never know he was shooting because they were not sound coming out.

Levi seeing this, looked at Lynn. "I will need your help if you don't mind," she said.

"Don't worry, I still have plenty of energy left after healing them, I can support you," Lynn replied. With that, more than just one green orb flew out from Lynn's body and entered Levi's body.

Closing her eye to absorb the energy, Levi started to channel her vein into the ground while linking it to the trees and other plants in the surrounding. Propelling her hand forward, spikes of vine started to raise and went forward to the beast.

'Staying in a forest or bush seems to be the perfect and easiest place to use my power, I don't have to look for any roots because they are all surrounding me, ' Levi thought while she changed the shape of a tree beside them to protect those from behind.

More branches were growing out from the tree it started wrapping around them forming a circle, Levi also made a space for them to see what was happening.

Meanwhile, over the other side, all the trees that were knocked down by the beast were growing back, entangling them in the process. Levi felt like she could use her power without worrying about running out of energy since Lynn was supplying her with a full amount of one.

They were all keeping themselves busy except for Nate, Bull and Dike.

"Should I join?"Bull telecommunicated with Nate.

"No need, Peter and Lyon are already enough to finish the wave, they have done something like this before," Nate replied. The reason he does not want Bull to join is that his "titan" form will bring a lot of question and attention to him if he was to use it in a place like this, after all, Bull was still going under training with his new power.

Peter was moving like a phantom from one place to another, and as he was moving, more and more beasts were falling, and when Lyon saw this he took it as a challenge.

"Hey, both of you, stay away from this fight," Lyon said to both Twain and Levi. Twain suddenly stopped shooting, while Levi stopped creating more trees to entrap the beast and soon they started breaking out from the traps.

Peter and Lyon stopped for the first time since the fight started and were facing each other.

"What are you doing?" Bull asked confused. Nate could only shake his head like he already know what the two are about to do.

"So you are taking the challenge? Let's see what you can do about this," Lyon lamented before facing the beasts again but this time, his mouth was wide open as he spites out the acidic spite at the beast, clearing those in front of him.

"What do you ha...ve," Lyon could barely finish his words after seeing the sight before him.

All the beasts that most likely were killed by Peter were now standing up in what seemed like half beast half-ghoul bodies, they all sprinted out towards the beast.

"Shit, if he is intending to use all those things," Lyon thought, however, he still has some tricks up his sleeves.

All the spikes on his back were all shoot out at once towards the other beasts, like a seeking missile as they were pointing at the beast.
