Challenge.

As Peter was killing most of the beasts, he made sure not to do so by damaging their heads, though they are few he ended up killing that why, either way, most of them were not done so. He was turning them into the undead ghoul beast and this cast a chain reaction of fear on those watching it as they were ready to run at any moment.

However, on seeing that Nate and the rest weren't even fazed by this, they all could just stay at a place though still alert and ready to flee at any moment.

"This, too, must they always do this when facing off a beast wave or tide!" Twain complained. It was understandable since he also want to show off his skills to others.

"Maybe, that's why they are monsters, they always like to test each other limits and then break through," Bull explained.

After evolving into a titanic zombie, his fear towards Peter has decreased though not totally since they are still some slight shake whenever he faced off against Peter.

Meanwhile, more than hundreds of rodent spikes were flying towards the beasts like a rain of arrows, however, these spikes were directly following each beast whether it was an attempt to dodge, it will deviate in its direction or follow the beast like a seeking missile...

Peter was slightly ahead of Lyon when the spikes were shot out, it cast a shadow over him as they pass him. Seeing this, Peter sent a command to his lesser ghoul they started blocking the spikes with their bodies preventing most of them from hitting the beast.

"Hey! That's cheating, you are not meant to do that," Lyon shrieked out in complaint but that was all to a deaf ear since Peter was already eradicating the beasts.

'Shit, he is fast, if I don't think fast, he might end up killing all of them before I catch up,' Lyon started to think deeply about what to do, his speed and that of Peter are on per or maybe Peter might be slightly faster than him and to top it off was that he was ahead of him and there is no way he can catch up to him quickly.

Regardless, they are things he could do to boost his speed. The mantis wing started to come out from his back and he flipped it a few times as he run on the ground. The wing, instead of taking him off the ground was pushing him forward and in a flash, Lyon was at the beast, he jumped up while opening his mouth.

'Since you started with blocking by attacks, I hope you don't mind if a block yours, ' he thought as he spites out the acidity on both the beasts and even caught the lesser ghouls on the mess, killing them all on the spot.

He didn't stop them, the spikes were coming out from his back again and they were shot out at once, hitting most of the beasts in target while also being stopped by Peter's ghoul.

'I know what is better for this challenge,' Lyon thought and sent himself diving into the ground, halfway to land, alternated to the rabbit form and as soon as he landed, a large hole was created and he went into it.

Lily was watching all this and couldn't help but regret underestimating Nate and his group. 'Those people's death, it's all my fault, if I have allowed them to join the fight from the start, all this couldn't have happened, those that lost their lives would have been alive by now and out of pleasing someone that ended up betraying me,' She thought when remembering what Hulk did.

Excavating through the earth ground, Lyon was moving underneath the soil, this was one of the abilities he got from the rabbit altered, it's just that he rarely makes use of the power, he only those so when he wants to sneak into a place. However, right now, he wasn't doing this because he was sneaking or anything of that sort, instead, he was moving from one position of the beast, sinking them into the ground and then finishing them off only, taking the crystals and looking for another one.

And by doing this, he has stolen many targets from Peter and his ghoul. Peter was only half transformed into his ghoul form. Only his feet and hand that has changed into the red ghoul. The feet were increasing his movements while the hands that have grown claws were increasing the damage he gives to the beasts.

He has just picked a frog beast that has been stretching its tongue at him, the tongue was toxic but to Peter, it was nothing and the poison was not working. Seeing the frog, Peter had just run over to its side and slashed his claws at the beast.

The claw was about to hit the frog, but a red hand suddenly stretch out from the ground and grab the frog, it was dragged into the soil, and with that, it disappeared.

Regardless, Peter could tell who it was and where it was heading, and he quickly chased after it.

Meanwhile, what Lyon didn't know was that as he moves, the ground will always raise indicating that something is coming and right now, Peter was following him.

Raising from the ground at the next stop to attack a beast, Lyon stretch out his hand, however, they were caught by Peter who forcefully pulled him out of the ground and slam him on the floor.

'Shit! You started it first,' Lyon thought to himself.

It was a strong hit and he felt the pain all over his body, but that didn't last for long since Lynn was there to absorb any pain from his body.

"What was that for?" Lyon quickly got up and glanced at Peter. The two ricocheted at each other but it was interrupted by a sudden roar from the distance.

Lyon looked at the distance it was going from, and to his surprise, it was a bug-type beast but for some reason still unknown, he was getting a strange feeling from the beast.

"I don't know how strong you are but the fact that I'm getting a strong ominous feeling from you means you are strong and I'm going to add you to the list of my altered beast," Lyon shouted making it clear that he was the one that won the fight.

Just after he said that he started to turn into his wolf with a spike-back beast, and his hand grabbed one of the dead beasts on the form and shove it into his mouth. As was doing this, the beast acted and disappeared from Lyons sight.

Meanwhile, Nate got an instant notification from the system soon after the beast appeared.

'A new level, this must be the cause of this wave,' Nate thought silently.
