Lastly, the five matrix has been having quite a hard time after the fight with Nate. Not only have they lost the fight, but they have also lost their powers as a powerful organization. Their supplies and manpower were seized leaving them with nothing.

It was even something of to surprise that they are still alive because they nearly lost their lives in the war.

However, after the fight, while fleeing for their lives, they came across a group they never thought existed. They met with the zombie hunters.

Luckily, the group of zombie hunters they came across was one that have suffered some loss on their side. Because of this, the matrix was happily welcomed by the hunter group.

Since then, the matrix has been helping the group to hunt down zombies and it has been three weeks since they have been hunting.

However, something strange has been happening within these three weeks of hunting. They have noticed that the zombies strangely have been disappearing from Panama City.

Not just only the zombies, but even some of the beasts they will encounter while fighting zombies have been disappearing also. Because of this, the Hunter along with the matrix have to leave the city at this moment because there is no reason for them to keep staying if there is no zombie to hunt.

Because of this, the matrix along with the zombie Hunters has left for another city as they will continue their hunting job till they successfully finish the zombies in the new city.

During this trip from one city to another, the matrix has come to realize how hard and stressful it was to be a hunter. Initially, their job was to kill zombies but sometimes, zombies won't be the only opponent they will have to worry about. The beast was still roaming around the new city they have arrived at.

Whereas, the matrix was helping in the fight of killing zombies and sometimes beasts, they were getting stronger physically and this was going unnoticed to them, but it was not going unnoticed by the initial hunters.

What the matrix didn't know was that all this struggle they were being put to was done on purpose to try out what they are capable of and the hunters were impressed with what they have seen so far and felt like it was time for them to do the needful.

Tel, who was the leader of the hunter group was leading the matrix, Chris and then Speed with the healer call Cain to a particular location.

They were all in a Hummer car that Tel himself was the driver of.

"Where are we going, the zombies in areas are still plenty, why are we changing location?" Kai asked when noticing that they are leaving the town they have been hunting zombies on.

It was his turn to play Origin. The five matrices have formed a new set-up on how they will be operating for the time being.

Unlike before they all will have to stay out of the dark space, they have now decided that only will be one person that will have to stay outside.

The reason for this is because of the lie they told Tel and his group. When the matrix first met with the zombie hunters, they were unlike to have met them all together. Of course, this has brought a lot of questions from the hunter side, such as why they all look the same.

The matrix has simply explained themselves as clones, although this wasn't a lie, there are things they didn't mention about themselves and that was they are clones with different personalities. Although the hunter will come to notice this later, by the time they could, the matrix has made up another lie and that being, they are clones with the personality of people they have killed.

This basically was a lie, the matrix did not want to expose the fact that they are trapped in Kai's body.

Because of this, Kai was made to take the responsibility of doing the day-to-day jobs such as working with the hunters in tracking zombies.

The other matrix can only come out when there is a tough battle. Regardless, there is still the problem of how the matrix was going to enter the dark space with their body and not their consciousness.

Thankfully, with Green's help, they were able to go and come out from the darkroom as they want. Because of this, Kai was the one staying with the hunters while the others oversee what is happening outside while inside the room.

Regardless, Kai alone will not stay outside every day, once every twenty-four hours, he will switch consciousness with one of the others. It just happened that today in particular was his day of staying outside.

"What do you think, it's time for us to do the needful, You and Chris have been of great help to us, it's time to officially make you one of us," Tel explained.

Hearing this, Kai looked at Chris who just sat silently not minding what Tel and the others were thinking of doing.

Soon, the car has come to a stop in the middle of the highway. Kai was wondering whether the car has developed any fault when he heard Tel saying. "We're here," Tel said and stepped out of the car.

Both Speed and Cain along with Chris stepped down from the car. Kai also got out of the car and started to inspect where they were. He found nothing except the green field at the side of the road, only when he looked at the other side did he find a small building standing all alone on the highway.

The building was like a store or something of that sort before but when looking at it closely, Kai couldn't find anything.

"Here, is one of the hunter's branches," Tel said and started to walk into the house. Speed and Cain also followed. Since they didn't say anything to them, Chris and Kai also followed them.

On stepping foot into the house, the first thing that Kai came in contact with was the smell of dust. The smell was so dense that Kai couldn't hold it back anymore and started to sneeze.

'It seems like I will be taking control from here,' Mia said to Kai from the darkroom as their consciousness swapped positions.

The sneezing Kai suddenly stopped and started to follow the others. Mia now in control looked around the room and just like they anticipated, inside the house looked like a store, but from the look of things, it was as if all that was inside the store was stolen.

Mia didn't bother about this and kept on following Tel. At the end of the store wall, Tel bent down and slide the ground below open. "You guys should stay here, I will go in," he said and jumped into the hole that most likely leads to an underground base.

Meanwhile, when Tel disappeared, Mia glanced at Chris. "This is a perfect opportunity and if we lose this, I don't know when we will get anyone like this," Mia stated.

Chris has gotten the meaning behind Mia while Speed and Cain were still confused, but Chris has decided to act. He realised his arm and grabbed onto Speed. "You will be the most troublesome one, I have to take you down first," Chris said before covering Speed's mouth.

Cain was still confused when something hit him hard on the head and he passed out. "Never thought this act will continue," Mia thought and he brought out two rings.

"Time to start from where we stopped," he said and put the ring on Cains and Speed's finger.

Meanwhile, Tel has just gone down the house and landed on a tunnel that it's left was a dead end while on his right was leading to a light source.

Tel followed the light and soon, appeared before an old man in a dark rob sitting crossed legs with on the roof, where a small ray of sun was descending the man. "With the disappointment of losing all your men, you still have the guts to show up to this place," the man said and opened his eyes.

Tel quickly knelt with his head bent." Indeed, I have disappointed the base, but I came back with a piece of information, a piece of information that the high-ups will like to hear," Tel said.

"Speak," the man instructed.

With him having permission, Tel began to explain what they have encountered and how he ended up losing all his men in a fight against a small zombie.

Out of all Tel has said, what caught the man's attention the most was the zombie that can survive head damage.

"Such information surely must reach the head up, but for now, call in the newly recruited members," the man commanded.
