Alexander flipped the book he was reading as an act to keep himself busy. He didn't want to currently work in his duties in the Palace as it bore him to the core.
"Your Highness, you have been called for a meeting!" Noa, Alexander's courtier, arrived at his office in haste.
"Tell them that I am very… swamped," Alexander replied, shooing Noa away as he wanted to rest all night.
"But Your Highness!" Noa exclaimed with fear in his eyes. He was already pressured by the court to force Alexander out.
"I can't do anything about that, dear Noa," Alexander replied, winking at his close friend.
"You… you always put me in danger," Noa pointed at Alexander, which was already an offensive move to the royals and might get his head cut, but Alexander laughed it off.
"I know I can trust you. Now, wish you luck, Noa," Alexander grinned, waving Noa goodbye as he eyed the book again.
