[19] The After effects

After the 'battle' with Joker, which was just her essentially using stealth mode to knockout all the guards, and changing Harley's memory and mindset to become one of a pure and good sided, she had also ended up using the womans memory to locate Ivy.
She had also found out another useful and very weird use for her inventory, what is it and how? Well it can hold bodies. When she looked at jokers body for a final time it gave her the option to place it in the inventory so she did so, she figured it'd come in handy at some point if the system allowed her to do it.
What Katerina failed to realize though is that killing Joker sent every evil person into a kind of freaked out state, they knew the heroes all lived by a code and wouldn't kill unless something happened. What they failed to realize, and thanks to Katerina taking away the body, was that everyone had one hero on their mind that would go berserk like this, Batman.
Everyone thought Joker had developed a knew kind of gas and it finally made the Batman loose it so they were all terrified to make a move.
Anyway Katerina was sitting outside of a Garden House located in Gotham, this gave Katerina the knowledge that she may not be in the move version batman as she remembeted Ivy was rarely in them unless doing harm, why? Cause in Harley's memory Ivy had actually turned her life around, sure she still had urges to take care of humans that hurt plants and such but she doesn't act on them anymore, instead she creates new life around the world and in the huge Garden House where she lives.
Katerina was stood face to face with the 'terrifying' Ivy, but to her disappointment, she didn't feel the same when reaction she had when she looked at Diana and Harley, but she just figured she had no more girlfriends left in this world or maybe this Ivy wasn't the one meant for her, either way she let Ivy give her a tour of the Garden House and commented on plants that she knew which greatly suprised Ivy as she explained, "Most people who show up here have no idea about plants, so my tours get boring fast, there's usually the odd one or two who know a bit but you seem knowledgeable about them, for once I'm glad to have given a tour"
This caused Katerina to smile, but before she could speak she, and Diana, got a Notification infront of them, this caused Diana to freak out until she noticed it looked the same as Katerina's.

Emergency Quest: Bank Robbery:
Jokers crew has taken his newest gas and plans to rob a bank with it, get to the bank and protect it before they show up, do not let the bomb go off!
Completion: World Travel Ticket
Failure: Superman Rampages
Connot deny quest as this is important to current world, system has auto accepted.

This information made both Katerina and Diana freak out a bit, and after Katerina said farewell to Ivy she quickly made her way to the bank where she seen Diana already waiting, upon reaching each other they gave the other a small kiss which made everyone watching confused and go wide-eyed, after the little kiss they both got into a protective position on both sides of the doors. after what felt like hours, cause it was as Katerina had gotten there with 2 hours to spare, the Joker Goons finally busted inside the Bank, but before the main guy could even threaten people with the bombs they were holding, his being the main big bomb that'd cause Superman to Rampage, Katerina quickly and swiftly knocked him out and grabbed the bomb.
Upon her hand coming into contact with the bomb it immediately went into her inventory, this caused her to raise an eyebrow cause so far she's always needed to tell the system to store something, but she just took it as the system recognizing the bomb as the quest object.
After an hour of Katerina taking down goons and locating the rest of the bombs going into her Inventory, the police finally showed up and arrested all of them, she hadn't killed anyway but quite a few did end up with a broken arm, leg, or both.
Suprisingly no one mentioned Joker or anything of the sort but she knew she'd have to deal the effects later as right now Is what some refer to as 'the calm before the storm' and she knew she couldn't just get out of it.

With the System issuing a Job Complete and a World Travel Ticket now in her inventory, both her and Diana wanted to rest as she had spent a good bit of energy to do some of the sneaking and jumping around that she was doing, despite her Demonic Energy seeming endless it still took a toll on her to use it for hours.
The next morning when she was getting up she noticed Diana and Harley talking, apparently despite the memories changing she still remembers quite a bit, but due to the new change in her mindset all she feels is guilt and the need to make right by helping out.
But the truly surprising part was for Katerina, she didn't feel the same effects as when she first saw Harley, after a while of thinking, and pretty much hurting her brain for thanking so early, she just chalked it up to this harley probably not being the right one but that also confirmed that ivy wouldn't be a love interest in other DC worlds.
After a while of talking Katerina brought Harley to Ivy and explained the situation of her having a change in attitude and wanting to be good. After the explanation Katerina left the two and went back to Diana, she figured it's time to go home and probably meet someone important that'd be not only a person to learn to fight from, but also someone who suffers from a ruined adopted son.
While Katerina was watching Diana pack for the trip home she had a thought, 'Hey system, when I leave this world what happens? Does time pause or what?'
[Negative Host, but in a sense it's Affirmative as well, you see when you leave 3 months will have passed when you return, speaking off, you have also unlocked the [World Travel] ability in the system, you may use it to return to worlds visited before. Also host please ensure that you do more rolls, you currently have almost 500 built up, and once that count reaches 500 you will not gain anymore until some of those are used]
The system warning about almost max rolls confused her but she just shrugged in the end, she turned towards Diana and informed her of the months gap before returning which got a solemn smile and nod.
After a few hours of explaining that they are traveling to Katerina's home and they will be back within 3 months they were finally allowed to leave, so as they waved to the league Katerina and Diana were enveloped in a ethereal purple-golden light and within a soft 'poof' they were gone.

Sorry for possible bad grammar and typing, I'm a little rusty lol.
Until the start of the new year this might be the last update, well unless I just wanna update it then who knows, but i said I'd update it sometime soon so here you go!
I also plan to do a 100 roll soon so if you have any thoughts on what to add to the rolls let me know!
Anyway I hope you all enjoy an amazing christmas and be on the lookout for a new story that will hopefully get me back into writing more and also help me spot more mistakes lol!
