It was not until the interviews began that they fully realized just how crazy the whole thing would be.
The first participant was a girl.
Well, that by itself was a problem. They had no plan to include a female member in the band. It would only complicate things.
I mean, there were bands that were doing just fine with both genders, but FFR was only just starting. They had no management and no experience in handling disputes among members, let alone between different genders.
So why hadn't they communicated the same in the advert?
Well, for the simple reason that feminists would nip their budding dream before it even had a chance to bloom.
Gender matters had been weaponized; it only took something as innocent as excluding girls to be labeled a bloody chauvinist.
They would just have to endure it. After all, they only needed two members. The fact that they would end up being of the same gender could be passed off as a mere coincidence.
