Chapter 40- Addie – The Plan Part 1 Volume 4

***ADDIE'S POV***

The day after finding out about the baby, and my impending trip, Nolan and I went to the palace to have lunch with Callum and Juliana. I had wanted to go have dinner with them the night before, to tell them the news sooner, but Nolan insisted on waiting until today. It was one of the hardest things I had ever done.

When Simon led us into the dining room, where Callum and Juliana were waiting for us, it took every ounce of control I had not to scream the words at the top of my lungs. Nolan wanted to be the one to tell them. He wanted to have that honor with the man he considered his brother. And I wasn't going to take it away from him.

"Oh, look who it is. It's been so long since we saw you." Callum laughed sarcastically, as he moved to hug me, then he turned to Nolan. "What the hell is the matter with your face?" His words were filled with sarcasm, and the two men started to laugh.
