Chapter 41- Addie – The Plan Part 2 Volume 4

***ADDIE'S POV***

Nolan and the others looked at me with wide eyes. None of them had processed what I had said just yet.

"What are you talking about?" Nolan asked me, his tone uneasy. "What Goddess?

"You know, the Goddess, the Mother Sun. Don't you remember her from my memories?" He finally seemed to understand what I meant, so I continued. "Well, I spoke with her while we were gone. On our honeymoon." I thought about when I talked to her, and it made me blush a little at all the times Nolan and I had come together during that time. "Anyway, she told me that the stampede was the last effort of the Fates to stop me from reaching my happy life."

"Last effort?" Nolan asked.

"Are you sure they will not interfere again?" Callum sounded worried, as he looked at my belly, clearly thinking about the baby I now carried inside my womb.
