chapter 1 leaving

It was Saturday morning when a call woke me up and it was my friend Cherryl. Hello.. I said in a sleepy voice and she said wake up and meet me in the bus station.Hmmm... why? what time is it ?I said lazyly. It's 6am,she said, isn't it too early to go to bus station?i asked.No.. I need to escape now or I will be punish,can you please come and help me? I badly need you now she said while sobbing. And it makes me fully awake, I asked her what happened?and she just cried harder. I felt bad and sad listening to her crying, I just said okay, I'm coming wait for me. I can't say no to the only person I considered one true friend. We went in different schools in college because she took HRM course(Hospitality and Restaurants Management) and I took Business Administration course.

I am not a friendly type, I am always wearing a poker face that no one wants to approach me.In short she is my only friend and for four years of our friendship I didn't say no to her yet. And she is kind of brave and war freak so, nobody bullied us. There is no dull moment when we are together and it doesn't matter where we are.We always foresee things in excitement and we ended up enjoying it to the extent that we forgot the time and we both got scolded when we got home.

Everything change when we started college.She learned how to drink alcohol and as a friend I also learned.There are times that we both escaped classes and went billards while drinking some alcohol.There is time she got grounded and not even have her allowance.She managed to escaped and we went to the bar spending the money for my school fees.My life change after that night because I met what I thought was the love of my life,my first boyfriend and first love Rean.

I reached the bus station and I saw her in the corner, besides her was a luggage and huge backpack. She looks so down and hurt. I sat beside her and asked her what happened do you know what day is today?i asked her jokingly,she was just quiet and was looking at her feet. When I noticed it I also got serious and said tell me what had happened?

She told between sobs that her grandma beat her and worst her cousin molested her. When I heard what she said I was so angry and felt so bad for her. She said I need to leave and go far away from this city.When she said that I was hesitating because I'm still relying to my family and I don't have money. But she was crying and begging me,please help me get away from here and this will be the last time I will ask anything from you, please... I told her I will help you but I don't know where to go. I really can't think of a place to go,as it never occurred in my mind of leaving home because I'm very dependent to my family.

As we are thinking of a place to go my phone rang it was my friend baddy.He is our neighbour in H city and my childhood friend.He was asking me when am I going back home and I said I don't know yet,i still have class. Hmm OK he said,and before he hang up I told him our problem and I asked him if he can help us. Ofcourse he help us,he can't say no to me also. He was my good buddy since we we're young,we played together and we bathe together in the well.In short we have a happy and memorable childhood and we departed when I graduated in primary school I moved to B city because my aunt bought a house there and it is just near in highschool. That was the time I crossed path with Cheryl.
