Kamikaze Beasts

Five minutes after Ran Xiyu's warning, several dark spots appeared northwest in the sky. 

It flabbergasted Jiang Liushi as it was not what he expected, huge beasts that is. If not for their resounding roars, Jiang Liushi would think that those spots were airplanes. Gradually, the dark spots got closer and Jiang Liushi was finally able to see them clearly; they were huge beasts with two giant wings. 

The flapping of their wings generated whistling sounds in the air like the sharp static from a radio, but its decibels were extremely high.  

"They are... bats!" said Ran Xiyu suddenly. 

Jiang Liushi shared the same thoughts, but it was quite hard to believe that those monsters in the sky were really bats. Their wings were at least 10 meters long! If they were to descend, one wing would be enough to overshadow and cover a small car completely. Compared to their wings, the bats' bodies were relatively small, but they still resembled that of adult tigers!
