Chapter 28

It's the 4rd day and I'm currently on top of a tree on the look out for any more Red Group members. So far, I've only found 5 out of the 50 residing on this island.

It's a pain but I have to do it otherwise my favour won't be made and I'll get kicked out of the Hunter Exam.

I sigh and look to my right. I see a contestant standing by themselves.

Hmm? Wait a minute. Isn't that Killua?

What should I do? Should I say 'Hi'? Maybe I should leave him? I don't know what to do!!

I decide to go to him and introduce myself. He may not like me much but it's better than being by myself and, besides, some bonding won't harm anyone.

"Hey Killua." I say one I'm within a couple metres of him.

Killua looks at me and then frowns.

"What are you doing here?" Her says.

"I just came to say hello. I don't know anyone much except you and Gon and a bit of Leorio and Kurapika but that's it." I answer, nervously.

"Hmm." He looks me up and down then starts walking.

"Have you got your opponents tag yet?" I ask.

"Yeah." He shows me the tag he acquired.

"Oh, that's good."

"What about you? You didn't manage to get the tag yet?" Killua says.

"No, not yet but I'm in the process of getting it. I have a good plan so everything will work out." I say.

"Really? You do know we only have 3 days left, right?"

"Yes. Don't worry, I'll be able to find it."

"I'm not worrying. I'm just checking that you aren't that contestant that doesn't get to pass the 4th Phase of the Hunter Exam." Killua says coldly.

I'm a bit taken back by what he said.

'Oh I WILL pass the Hunter Exam' is what I want to say but I don't want to sound too confidence so I say:

"So, if you found your tag what are you doing now?"

"Just hanging out. What else is there to do?"

"That's true." I smile.

Ping!

I hear a sound from a location not far from here.

I turn around to the direction of the sound and pinpoint who the person is.

It's a member of the Red Group!

As long as nobody finds out or knows about the Red Group but I then everything will be okay.

"Hey Killua? To speed up time, tell me about your family. I'll tell you mine in return." I suggest.

Killua stares at me in thought.

"Alright." He agrees.

If I can keep him away from the member long enough then maybe they'll move away.
