Melascula's P.O.V.

In this world of Superpowers there are two types of people. Lucky people and Unlucky people. I'm not the type of person to brag but I'd say with me being born with a Power as strong as this I'd consider myself a Lucky person.

So in that moment I opened the door to my future as a Pro Hero. Staring into that room and seeing those two arguing I could only think one word.

'Shit.'

No Ones P.O.V.

Melascula could just awkwardly stare at the scene Infront of her the blue haired kid with glasses from the Entrance Exam who called her out was arguing with Bakugo about having his feet on the desk. 

'Katsuki seams a bit less angry than usual probably because we're in U.A. If Mr. Four-eyes over there met Katsuki in middle school he'd probably have a meltdown.'

She quickly covers her mouth before she busted out in laughter trying to stay quiet but she ended up drawing more attention to herself than needed and the other student notice her at the door. 'Crap.'

"Greetings, I'm from Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida. It's a pleasure to meat you!" The blue haired boy says while walking over to Melascula with his hand extended

Seeing this Melascula takes his hand and gives it a firm handshake before replying. "Melascula Midoriya, me and Angry over there both went to Aldera Junior High. And uh, pleased to meet you, Iida."

"Midoriya... You perceived the true nature of the exam while I could not..! I misjudged you, I hate to admit it. But you were the superior candidate in every way!" He says with his head hung down in shame. Melascula could just let out a weak chuckle while thinking to herself. 'I didn't perceive a damn thing...' 

*Pst.* Melascula hearing the sound of someone trying to get someone's attention looks around the class before her eyes settled on a pink haired girl with yellow horns, and blacked out eyes waving at her. 'Mina!' She thinks as she does a small wave back to her.

"Hey I know that pink hair! Melascula! You made it!" A voice sounds behind Melascula making her jolt from surprise and quickly turn around. "Oh, Uraraka! It looks like you make it in no problem."

"Yep, you as well. Though with that huge blast you did it'd be pretty weird if they didn't let you in, huh?" She said while bouncing up and down like a child. As Melascula was about to respond she gets cut off by a voice. 

"If you're here to socialize and make friends, then go somewhere else. This is the Hero Course."...

Hearing a voice is one thing. But seeing what looked like a human caterpillar on the ground talking to you was enough to shut anyone up. "It took you eight seconds to quiet down. That's bad. Time is limited you lot have to be more rational." He says while getting out of his caterpillar-like sleeping bag

'This haggard-looking guy is our teacher..? So he must be a Pro Hero. But, I don't think I've ever seen him before...'

"I'm your Homeroom Teacher, Shota Aizawa. Pleased to meet you all." He says while reaching back into his sleeping bag and pulling out U.A. Gym Uniforms. "Put your Gym Uniforms on and meet me out on the grounds. If you don't have any then take from this pile."

He finishes and rests a pile of Gym Uniforms on his front desk where two students get up and begin handing them out to anyone who doesn't have.

Melascula seeing the two students handing out the Uniforms quickly goes to take one of them. She walks up to the pair, A tall girl with long black hair tied into a spikey ponytail with one strand hanging on the right side of her face and a short boy with purple balls for hair.

The two of them are striking up a friendly conversation while the boy occasionally makes a comment that makes the tall girl call him a pervert, but then they laugh it off. Melascula quickly takes a Uniform before walking back to Uraraka while thinking about the two students. 'They seam pretty close... Must have went to the same Middle School.'

The students following their teachers order quickly reach outside to see Aizawa waiting for them "Good we're all here. Today we're doing something a bit different... A test of your QUIRKS."

"But what about the Entrance Ceremony?! Or the Orientation?!" 

"No time to waste on those pointless activities if you want to be Heroes. U.A. is known for its Freestyle Education System. Naturally that applies to us Teachers as well." He says while pulling out a strange Gadget from his pocket and holding it out Infront of himself

"Softball throwing. The standing long jump. The 50-meter dash. Endurance running. Side-to-side stepping. Upper body training. And seated toe touch. You all did these in Middle School, right? Your standard No-Quirks-Allowed gym test.

"This country still insists on prohibiting Quirks when calculating the average of those records. In my opinion it's just not rational. The department of Education is just procrastinating."

"Melascula. You were top in the Practical Exam. How far could you throw in Middle School?" He says getting Melascula's attention while putting her on the spotlight. "Oh... I think about thirty-five meters."

"Great, now try it with your Quirk. Step in this circle and do whatever you need to just don't leave it and make sure to give it all you've got." He says with a thumbs up to which Melascula gives a blank look but still replies with a thumbs up of her own before saying a quiet "Got it."

'All I've got, huh? Well if I could replicate what I did in the Practical Exam that'd be cool. But, I did that in desperation and it did burn me a little... I'll just try to push it to max!'

She thinks as she finishes stretching before getting into a standard throwing stance where she aimed more upward. Before she throws she gives a questioning look to Aizawa. "This ball is fireproof right..?" 

"Yeah it's designed to handle Quirks of any nature. Besides if you did manage to destroy or one goes to far away to collect, we have tons of spares." He replies to which Melascula gives a quick nod before refocusing on the task at hand. Her bored expression morphed into one of determination as she engulfs her hand in her Black and Purple flames before finally throwing the ball.

Almost like a comet the ball enclosed in flames shoots away from Melascula soring through the air until she loses sight of it. 'Maybe I tried too hard...'

"It's important for us to know our limits." Aizawa says as he points the device he took out of his pocket earlier to the class revealing a score or 850.9 Meters. "That is the first rational step... to figuring out what kind of Hero you'll be."

"851 Meters? Seriously?" A boy with Yellow hair with a black thunderbolt in his hair asks to no one "Whoa this is awesome!" Mina shouts with a huge smile on her face "Man the Hero Course is great! We get to use our Quirks as much as we want!" Says another boy with short straight spiked down black-hair.

"..Awesome you say? You're looking to become Heroes in three years... And you think it'll all be fun and games? Alright, how's this..?"

"Whoever comes in last place in all eight of these tests..."

"Will be judged as hopeless and be punished with Expulsion." ...

""HUH?!""

"Your fates are in our hands. Welcome, to the Hero Couse at U.A. High!"

"It's only the first day! And even if it weren't that's still totally unfair!" Uraraka says with concern trying to persuade Aizawa to no avail. "Natural disasters... Highway pileups... Rampaging Villains... Calamity is always right around the corner. It can't be predicted when or where. I'd say the world is full of unfairness."

"It's our job as Heroes to correct all that unfairness." Aizawa replies with a smile before pointing at the student. "If you were hoping to spend your evenings at Mickey D's after school talking with friends, too bad. Sorry to say... but over the next three years U.A. will put you students through the wringer."

"That's what we call Plus Ultra." He then makes a beckoning motion with his outstretched finger as if challenging the lot as he then finally says "Use your strength to overcome it all. So bring it."

"The demonstration is over. Now it's for real."

With that final message the first Event began the 50-Meter dash.

Melascula's P.O.V.

'Tenya Iida... He has a pretty straight forward Quirk. Engine the power to have Engines on a part of his body, his entire family has that Quirk his Engines specifically...'

"3.04 Seconds!" The testing robot shouts as Tenya speeds past it. With exhaust coming out of his Engines.

'...Come out of his legs. It's a pretty good Quirk that's suited for this kind of Exercise.' 

The next students go up this time it's Uraraka and a boy with a boy with a tail attached to his body. She appears to me touching herself. As in her clothes specifically her shirt and shoes.

'Ochako Uraraka, Quirk Zero Gravity. Another pretty self explanatory name what ever she touches with all five of her fingers is unaffected by gravity.'

"7.15 Seconds!" The robot shouts again as Uraraka passes by letting out a small groan 

'Another pretty useful Quirk. She could become a rescue Hero with a Quirk like that pretty easily.'

More student go up and this time it's Mina and a blonde haired kid that keeps looking off into the distance and are those sparkles around him..? Best not to stare at him...

'Mina Ashido, Quirk Acid and Yuga Aoyama, Quirk Navel Laser. One can shoot acid the other shoots lasers. Both awesome Quirks that can both be used as either support or front line work.'

Next up it was me and Katsuki. "Ready?" The robot says as Bakugo placed his hands behind him to the side in a Sonic-like pose "Start!"

"EXPLOSIVE SPEED!" 

"Huh..?" I could only let out lamely before Katsuki had already taken off propelled by his explosions. 'Damn it... I wish I could do something like that... That's practically flying. But my flames don't propel me without obliterating everything around me. Lucky Bastard...'

"4.13 Seconds! 6.57 Seconds!" The robot says as Bakugo passes by it with Melascula following behind him.

No One's P.O.V.

The second Even is Grip Strength. Melascula got a score of 150 Kg by using darkness Coating around her and enclosing the grip machine. The highest score was made by a boy named Mezo Shoji who scored 540 Kg.

The rest of the tests passed by in a blur with Melascula either scoring somewhere in the middle or or in the high ends until the the tests were all over.

"Moving along. Time for the results. Oh and also, I was lying about the whole expulsion thing."

"That was a ruse to make you try your hardest."...

""WHAAAAAAAAAAAA?!""

"You guys didn't know? It really didn't take much to figure out..." The Black-haired girl says with the short purple ball-haired boy nodding next to her.

"Anyways were done here. Your documents about the curriculum and such are back in the classroom. So go have a look. One more time I'd like to welcome you lot to U.A. It's all or nothing here, My Students."
