Like a clingy cat, I kept hugging Cera while Noire and Viv cleaned up the road so we could continue on our merry way. Seeing how strong Cera was already, I couldn't help but feel excited and I wanted her to hug me with her slender, but powerful arms.

"Ceraaa! Hug me!" Viv walked by and closed the carriage door before Cera kissed my forehead and cradled me in her arms.

Time passed and eventually we made our way past the massacre. My mind filled with thoughts of the Academy. I was hoping to be able to at least visit some of the classes and meet some really strong people, but we might not be able to get in.

"Cera, I want to go visit the Academy." I looked up at Cera's beautiful face and hoped that she would have a way to get us in.

"Don't worry, I have a letter from our big sister that will get us in if you want. I prepared it just for you." I cuddled up to Cera even more. We stayed this way for a few hours until we reached the border of the Rena Kingdom.

While still being hugged, I moved my head a little to see out the window and I saw the bountiful myriad of different colored trees along the Rena kingdom. It looked like it was being protected by nature. Thinking it would be nice if we did something similar to our house. And since we reached the border, even the roads seemed to have a symbol of the kingdom every few feet. A circle with a witch hat inside and a circlet around the hat. The famous hat of the legendary witch, Rena.

The goal here was to find her and take her eyes. Hopefully with a deal. Fighting an ancient witch for her eyes is probably impossible. Well, at least for me.

When we arrived at the entrance, Cera handed some papers and money to one of the guards and he let us in. The entrance doors to the Kingdom were mostly made of some sort enchanted metal. It had a peculiar glow and just entering the you could see all the craftmanship they put on the road and houses. They were decorated with different insignias and banners that represented their family. All made out of silver and enchanted somehow.

I had heard that the Rena Kingdom was famous for its crafting and smithing, but I didn't know their common houses were made with such artistry. It made me look forward to seeing where we would be staying while we're here. But before that, I need to find out how I'm going to get into the academy.

"Cera, how are we going to attend the academy? As guests?" I asked.

"No, you and Viv will be attending as normal students. I will stay at the new house and do some work for Celest. She gave me a letter that allows normal entry to the academy with one attendant, so you will join and Viv will be there with you." I anxiously got worried that she wasn't going to come with me.

"But don't worry, I'll come pick you up every day after classes are over. I know you never got to go to school, so I want you to enjoy your time there." Cera kept talking, but I could only think of how she also never got the chance to go to school and how she was sacrificing this opportunity to do this for me.

"We'll be staying a while, so chin up, okay? Enjoy your time at the academy and enjoy yourself as much as you can." She continued.

"You can tell me all about it, okay?" She looked fondly at me and made my chest hurt.

"Thank you..." I somberly hugged her tightly and she pet my head repeatedly until we arrived at the new house we would be staying at. My thoughts swirling with love and anticipation.

"My lady, we're here." Viv called out to me when we arrived.

Excited to see the house we'd be staying at, I sneaked a kiss at Cera's lips and broke free from her embrace before looking out of the carriage.

The house was made out of a silverish marble and was decorated with runes and emblems from the kingdom. The yard was spacious and was well taken care of, while there was no front gate, you could tell that it was surrounded by some sort of magic spell to prevent intruders and the like.

"Cera, come, let's check out the inside!" I pulled her out of the carriage and dragged her to the front door before a young girl wearing a blue, custom dress with the emblem of the Rena Kingdom embedded on the side came out.

"Welcome, Cera and Zara Valentine." The young girl opened the door as soon as she realized we were coming. "I was tasked with giving you the keys and showing you around the house." She continued.

"My name is Abby and I belong to house Aimo of the Rena Academy. I will also be your guide for the school, so please let me know if you have any questions." I could have imagined it, but her eyes looked lustrous under a certain angle. Maybe all witches have shiny eyes?

As she showed us around and the functions of the house, I pulled Cera's arm toward me and we crossed our arms and held hands while being guided. Abby gave us a quick look of surprise, and then went back to normal. I suppose girl on girl relationships aren't too common in this kingdom. Hopefully it doesn't cause a problem, I don't want to kill anyone so early on. If I do, I have to get rid of evidence too.

Once she finished showing us the house, she quickly left and told me to look for her two days from now when the academy started. Luckily classes were just about to begin and I was going to join the first years while Cera was going to do some work for Celest, which I knew nothing about.

I was about to ask what she was going to do for her, but I figured since she's sacrificing this chance to go to school for me, it'd be better not to talk about it. Remembering what she was doing for me made me heart spiral. Feeling like someone was squeezing it and making me want to puke.

I lean against Cera and put all my weight on her. She quickly adjusted and carried me.

"Is everything okay?" She leaned in and kissed my cheek.

"I love you." I tried my best not to sound sad and wanted to be held.

"I love you too." She kissed me again, but this time I could feel her tongue.

I need to somehow make this up to her. I need to find a way to thank her. We'll be here a while, so in that time, I have to find a way to thank her properly for giving me a chance to go to a school.
