A new side of Joem

Arriving in a A village. Avia was surprised that Joem could afford to stay in such a village. Not even her family could ever afford the smallest villa or mansion in A village.

It was a village for the rich beyond words. Those whose riches reached the moon. She looked out the window ignoring the pain in her chest, it hurt to have to see Joem and the model being so romantic with each other.

She had never had the honor of seeing the houses in A village and was her chance. She watched the houses with interest, and was eager to see the house in which Joem lived in.

They passed all the small villas and we're moving up to houses that were built like ancient palaces. Palaces that stretched far beyond what the eyes could see. As far as she understood of A village. She had heard a rumor that after passing the palaces, there was one house in A village that was bigger that all of them.

It was so big that it took the architects years to build it. It was magnificent to look at and was very expensive.

She hoped that they would drive through there for her eyes feast on the palace that was named heaven on earth, due to the fact that it was beyond what anyone dreams off.

It was out of this world.

"Baby, I have a shoot tomorrow. Will you go with me?" Beabianca let out sweetly. Avia wanted to vomit, hearing the model call Joem baby made her stomach turn in all the wrong ways.

He couldn't stand it, she looked up to the review mirror to see Joem's reaction to her question.

"You know that you don't have to ask. All of me is yours to do with as you please," Joem replied.

Avia looked away. They had lost touch of four years and he had changed. He became someone that she couldn't recognise, the face was the same, of the man she loved.

But his words and actions weren't something that the love of her life would say and do for someone else. She had spent the last four years of her life in regret of her decision to break up with him.

She was lonely and hurt, she didn't want to feel the way she did and wished to turn back time and ran to him. But her loneliness had not left her even though Joem had returned to her life.

His declaration of love to Beabianca broke her heart. She had always thought that being forced to live without the one she loved was the worst pain in the world.

It was only because she had not experienced what it felt to live with the man she love with another woman by his side.

It had only been an hour and already she couldn't take it. And she had a feeling that it was just the beginning.

He had not come back for her to complete their love story, he did to have his revenge on her, it was the only thing that would explain why he was acting as he did.

She looked out the window blinking the tears in her eyes away. Marrying Nathan would have been torture but living as Joem's was going to drive her crazy. She pressed her lips tightly and went back to pretebding they weren't in the car with her.

"You are so sweet," Beabianca said. She leaned to the driver's seat and pressed her lips against Joem's cheek. She had no care in the world for Avia. She was only concerned about her boyfriend and their love, she knew that Avia meant nothing to Joem.

"We are home," Joem announced. Avia raised her gaze to see the home that he was talking about. Her eyes widen with surprise.

Her eyes glanced at the blue butterfly gate, it was so beautiful. She had never had the pleasure of seeing a gate that was so beautiful in her life before.

The gate keeper came to the car and saluted at the driver's window. "Sir, everyone is waiting for. The press was let in as you instructed," the gate keeper informed to Joem.

'Who did you become after four years Joem?' She thought.

She didn't like not knowing. He seemed like a big shot, she glanced at the gate and saw something written on it.

"He...hea..," she couldn't see the words clearly from the distance she was in with the gate.

"Heaven on earth," Beabianca said confidently. "The gate reads, heaven on earth," she added being more clear.

Avia was shocked beyond words. The legendary house that she had heard of was home to Joem. Her shock was evident on her face, she couldn't believe. Joel had not just become rich but he might be the richest man in the country to afford to live in such a house.

"What do you do for a living, JJ?" She asked calling him as she did back then when they were together.

Joel tightened his hold on the steering wheel and looked ahead fuming with anger. "What did you call me?" He thundered at her.

The gatekeeper stumbled back at his frightening voice. Avia gulped as fear ran its thy hands down her spine. She had never heard that kind of tone on him ever in her life. Since she had known him, he was as sweet as honey and as gentle as a warm hug.

He was not angry or cold. But tides had changed and he was not the same person that she used to know. "Calm down sweetheart, you have to face the press with her. You call yell at her once we are in the house," Beabianca spoke gently.

She didn't seem to be afraid of him. To her words Joem's eyes softened, he flashed a smile at Beabianca and drove the car inside the compound.

Avia remained still in her seat terrified out of her wits. The side of Joem she had come to meet was scary. "I miss the boy I loved," she whispered.
