Chapter 133 Escape

A pile of manila folders sat on top of the wooden desk inside the police district's office, as a very troubled man in his forties looked into the photographs of one particular file. His eyebrows furrowed as he read the details in that file, wondering the possibility of a man in question vanishing in an instant.

Chief of Police Kim Ji-hoo cracked his knuckles in annoyance as he read the file again for the hundredth time. Days of being sleep-deprived had left him irritated especially knowing that the person he thought they had in their hands, had escaped without a trace.

"Shit," he cursed loudly as he continued flipping the pages in the file.

He knew this could happen but he underestimated the person. Because of his pride, he had declined the help of the cyber team thinking they could crack the case by themselves.
