A peaceful Wish

Upon my arrival at Viktor Castle, I chose to touch down in the outskirts of the forest, allowing me a moment of solitude to contemplate the upcoming encounter as I made my way towards the castle entrance.

A vigilant Vampire soldier stationed atop the walls recognized me and swiftly called out, "OPEN THE GATE!" the urgency in his voice echoing across the castle grounds.

As the gate slowly ascends, revealing the armored figure of Amelia approaching as she try to start a conversation.

"Marcus!, I see you don't have your brother with you, I hope he is doing well?."

I arched an eyebrow at Amelia's words as I responded.

"What do I owe this welcome of yours for Amelia, I'm here to speak with Viktor not my own family problems!."

I respond to her in a severe manner, which causes her to flinch at my tone because of her former liking for the original Marcus.

The original Marcus had previously rejected her as a partner since he was constantly concerned about William's location.

She had always tried to make our relationship with my previous self more than simply a companionship; after all, spending so much time together hunting and murdering William's progeny and searching for him was enough time to establish some sort of relationship.

Amelia noticed my countenance alter to a complicated look at her.

She lost her composure unexpectedly, her eyes widening in surprise as a knowing smile appeared on her face, but she swiftly returned to her Death Dealer demeanor.

She realized that the attention and expression she sought had finally arrived, as had her opportunity, which she would not pass up.

I look around the front courtyard of Viktor Castle, where people are sparing with their swords in order to better their chances of survival in combat.

Walking forward within the Castle's front yard with Amelia. She remained silent on the walk to the Viktor Throne room, her brow furrowed as she considered how to express her sentiments.

I couldn't help but think of the expression on Amelia's face, which I had seen many times in Marcus' original recollections.

I couldn't help but sigh because I didn't want to stay in the Underworld for any longer than necessary.

I couldn't help but feel my heart ache at the notion of having to reject Amelia again.

Using the excuse that she is Viktor Death Dealer and a loyal subordinate to justify the refusal to get close to her, The thought lingered of betrayal but a hint of hesitation if she is truly loyal to Viktor or herself.

Amelia couldn't help but move her eyes up, finally gathering her thoughts, only to abruptly meet my own gaze as we locked eyes as were both at arms length.

The next second.

'puchu'

Looking down, I see Amelia outstretched fist on my stomach in an attempt to knock the wind out of me.

Only the sound of flesh slapping flesh echoed.

As I turn to look at Amelia, her face becomes an ashamed expression of embarrassment, and if she were still human, she would most certainly be blushing.

Amelia hesitantly retracts her arm as she observes my inquiring stare as she responds.

"Once this is over we will have a private conversation for leaving me to deal with Viktor alone!" She demanded in a firm tone.

Amelia swiftly ushers us into the throne room, where Viktor awaits.

My mind raced with the notion that Amelia is a Tsundere, I felt a subconscious cold sensation for the second time in my life, but my thoughts changed as we approached the throne room entrance.

The ease with which the door yields to our combined strength serves as a reminder of our shared prowess as vampires, As the two stone and iron doors moved with ease.

Upon Viktor's signal for privacy, the room clears of all advisers, leaving the three of us in a cocoon of silence and anticipation.

Viktor's measured approach and his gesture towards us are met with a knowing look from Amelia and a sense of readiness from my end.

As the weight of our impending conversation hangs in the air, I brace myself for the revelations and decisions that are sure to follow in the setting of Viktor's throne room.

"Marcus How is your brother doing?"

"I assume you left him in a location where he would stay forever happily, I hope!"

I simply nod, my smile fading enough so that Viktor and Amelia can see me change the subject.

'Viktor my family troubles are settled thanks to your troops owing to the arrangement we made!."

Hearing my remarks, Viktor's demeanor softened slightly as he remembered his talk with Amelia and the past.

Viktor glanced at Amelia, who nodded her head back, prompting him to speak more calmly.

"Marcus, you know, I had plans to attempt to help you keep your brother more secure in his place, when we were going to capture him !"

"I hope that you can look past me not informing you of this!"

"You know what I'd like to talk to you about, Marcus"

"It encompasses our future as a whole new race, so Amelia and I have decided to organize an exclusive council of elders."

"We would want you to join us, Like you said before that you're the first and you should be protected if you die we all die!."

"So what would you say Marcus!?, would you join us?"

There was a long silence as tension began to increase slightly.

I lowered my head and raised an arm to my face in a thoughtful manner before responding simply.

"Yes"

Viktor seemed entirely delighted and comforted by my response, and he motioned for us to follow him to the back of his throne.

Turning to face us, Viktor pressed a secret stone button, opening a doorway to reveal three metal-like coffins.

"Amelia, Marcus, this before you both shall be our sleeping place as we jump forward in time, I suggest you enjoy some time before we start this slumber, One awake two asleep that's the way we elder will take turns pushing our race forward in this world!"

I just nod in remembrance of the second film were these coffins are shown, which is where the first hybrid was made with the help of my stepbrother future descendants.

Even so, I still harbor some affection for him from my early Marcus recollections. But since he's only human, I'd want to give him the happy life that neither William nor I were able to have.

If I could guarantee that the vampire race can usurp human government and turn William back into a humanoid form.

It may be possible to stop humans from using werewolves' covert assistance to hunt vampires and rouge werewolves to extinction in the future and a peaceful cooperation could be achieved.
