Effect to the Masses

"The recent chaos in Yokohama finally ended and Nakahara Chuuya ended up joining Port Mafia. Frankly, I thought Rui wanted to hire that guy."

Katsuki plays with his phone as he speak. DOLLARS currently gathers all the members at the bar during the daytime while opening regularly to customers during the night (there are still member who visits during night time though). They're currently into CROWDS that was being spread in Yokohama. Of course, they don't do task like ordinary members.

"That's impossible. Rui likes that guy very much but that liking includes how he develops in Port Mafia. If she takes him here it'll be putting an end to the [future he] that Rui also likes."

Shokudaikiri Mitsutada replies to Katsuki as he sit on the bar counter drinking alcohol. He's a rare adult within the avatar that could enjoy this. Decim who was wiping the wine glasses in the counter silently continue observing the two.

*Cling~cling~*

"Yahoo! The loveable, dreamy and great Izaya-sama is here~"

The Katsuki and Decim showed a disgusted expression while Mitsutada just stare blankly at Izaya. From Izaya's back showed a figure of a little girl who was together with him.

"Welcome, Rui." x3

"I'm back."

"Why is there's such difference in treatment!"

Izaya can't help but express his dissatisfaction but the people present here just ignore him. Or rather, such treatment within DOLLARS was pretty common. Don't think they didn't know! This bastard even created an extra account on CROWDS pretending to be a girl!

"Katsuki, can't you help me go to the hospital."

"Huh? Hospital? What for?"

Katsuki can't help but ask Rui. He knows that Rui as an Ajin basically maintain good health, if there's problem then she just need to die once.

"Recruitment. I want to pick up someone. Hmm... and Mitsu-san too, can we bring some lunch boxes?"

"Well, there's still time to prepare. Who will eat?"

"Do something that a child would like. He's... still young."

Mitsutada didn't decline and walks to the kitchen. Just from the conversation above, it's easy to figure out how twisted was Rui's current psychological status. She totally started to view her avatars as an independent individuals despite the fact that their actions are all under her orders.

It didn't take much time and they're ready to go out. Katsuki walks as he holds Rui's hand while Mitsuda carries the large lunch boxes prepared earlier. For the current DOLLARS were all Rui's avatar, it was the first time they'll invite "outsiders" to join.

Happenings are part of life, just as the walk in the busy street a lady suddenly yells "Thief!" It turns out that the handback she has was grabs by a man who suddenly passes by. Unfortunately, the thief is unlucky. A few people present tried to stop him. One of teenager he passed through suddenly stretch his legs causing him to fall and another adult man immediately restrain him making him immobile. Few witness started to contact the police, it didn't take long before the police arrive and settle the scene. The lady quickly thank the people for helping her.

"It's really convenient, huh. this CROWDS."

The man who subdued the thief mutters to himself. As he stares at his phone screen. Similar events happen to him these days. It's not uncommon for someone to encounter problems but getting these things solve immediately is rare. As a Japanese himself, he's quite well aware of the common attitude as "minding my own business" among the crowd. The CROWDS app that suddenly appear in his phone was something that brought change. During the incident just now, he who have sufficient professional skill receive a "task" for subduing the thief. The teen who tripped the thief and the people who rush to call the police should also be so. The biggest proof is that all of them were carrying their phones and did a recheck after the "task" completion. Task completion not only brings Experience Points (EXP) to level up, it also have a little money reward that can be claimed. Rumors among the chat room claimed that the higher level you are, the more money you can earn.

This man is Oda Sakunosuke. Few weeks ago a bug like invitation appear on his phone with the question: Do you want to join CROWDS? Yes. / No.

Out of curiosity, he pressed "Yes" and the CROWDS app was installed on his phone. He wasn't active in chatting as Port Mafia's job was quite busy but tasks will be send automatically just like now and he has the option to decline. It wasn't much trouble to do the task of helping people so he didn't mind. The mystery on the app was that it always give task to people on time and the task is somethings that you could definitely do. He has suspicion about it because it seem to know information of the users, like if you received training for first aid or physically trained. But he's not the type to dig deeper, the app is still helpful and it doesn't issue any harmful task. Oda confirms the notification from Hundred saying he earn points after task completion.

"Yokohama accepts the CROWDS well."

Katsuki and Rui nod their heads agreeing to Mitsutada's claim. They've witness several scenes like this lately. Izaya invited many ordinary people within Yokohama all at ones while avoiding BSD characters. Well, except for Oda Sakunosuke as per Rui's request.

They continue to walk further reaching the hospital. Here, Rui finally see Yumeno Kyusaku, also known as Q. Q's hair is divided in half down the middle, with the left half being white, and the right is black. Their eyes are peculiar, with the right pupil being a solid yellow star, and the left being a yellow ellipse that is dark blue in the middle, the same color as their irises. He's currently wearing a white patient suit sitting on the hospital bed.

"Hello."

"Hello... Who?"

Q inquires as these people suddenly enters his room. The current Q didn't remember his past but he heard people in the hospital saying "They're all dead." "Orphaned." "No family member." So he concluded that he didn't have a family anymore. He hugs his doll formed with his ability for comfort as he stare at the sudden visitor.

"Rui said she wanted to recruit you. If you don't have any place to go, do you want to join us?"

"Rui?"

Katsuki points at Rui in his side as soon as Q ask. Q turn his attention to the orange little girl in traditional clothing. Rui didn't speak but look at Mitsutada instead. Responding to her, Mitsutada bring some hospital chairs close to Q's bed as he put the lunch boxes down.

"Eat first? You can think about joining as after eating."

Rui didn't rush to get on the topic and help Mitsutada distribute the chopsticks. So the hospital room suddenly become a picnic site. Q curiously stare at the lunch box that he's holding then turn his attention the the trio who already started eating. He pick up a meatball from the lunch box and put it in his mouth.
