We Are Under Attack!

Inside Norn's room, the trio of Agnik, Thantos, and of course Norn himself are sitting on the bed.

"All right! I have flush!", Agnik shouted excitedly while slamming his cards down.

"Heh, keep dreaming of your victory, I have a full house", Thantos said smugly.

"God dammit! You must be cheating!"

"Maybe? Maybe not? Prove it if you can pussycat!"

"Fuck you! If you want a fight then I will give it to you!"

Both Agnik and Thantos hopped off the bed and started growling at each other.

They circled in the middle of the room while keeping their distance.

Then as they each noticed a gap in their opponent's defense they dashed together to exploit that gap.

Agnik created a glove shaped energy construct around his fist, he pounced at Thantos in an attempt to exploit his bigger size and strength.

Meanwhile, Thantos controlled the nanobots that were hidden under his clothes to form a shield on his left arm and a power glove around his right hand.

"I got royal flush guys, I win", Norn snickered.

Hearing Norn's words immediately caused both Agnik and Thantos to stop on their track and fall to the floor.

"God dammit man, why did you keep getting the good cards?", Agnik complained.

"Yeah, your luck is total bullshit!"

In response to both of them, Norn only shrugged his shoulders and shook his head.

"I-"

*BOOM*

Before Norn could finish, turbulence suddenly affected the whole room.

""What happened?""

All 3 of them simultaneously asked but there was no one around that could answer their question, but fortunately or unfortunately the danger alarm that echoed in the spaceship gave them their answer.

(Danger! Danger! The ship is under attack!)

""SHIT!""

They immediately ran out of the room and found other students already outside running around like a bunch of headless chickens.

(CALM DOWN!)

A loud and authoritative voice suddenly echoed throughout the spaceship to calm everyone.

A few students immediately recognized the voice.

"Principal! It's the principal!"

"Principal save us!"

"I don't wanna die!"

Their reaction immediately started a domino effect which ended in nearly every student shouting as if a knife was being held under their neck.

The few students that remain calm are starting to get irritated by the shouting but they are either too lazy or too timid to stop the shouting.

No one came up to stop the shouting for a few minutes until someone finally got irritated enough to shout back.

"SHUT UP YOU FUCKING CUNT! WE CAN'T HEAR THE FUCKING PRINCIPAL GOD DAMMIT!", Agnik shouted.

With that shout, everyone went quiet which satisfied Agnik and Thantos but terrified Norn.

(Everyone please search for the nearest teacher to you, they will be the ones ensuring your safety)

Hearing that everyone immediately ran as fast as they could to find a teacher, some hoped to find their favorite teacher, a few searched for the strongest teacher they knew, while others just hoped that they could find a teacher.

"Sigh, so? Who should we search for?", Agnik asked.

"Isn't it obvious?'', Thantos said matter of factly.

"Um, from what I gathered there is no teacher as strong as him", Norn assured.

"So it's decided?"

"Yeah"

"Um"

"Haha, then let's search for that white haired bastard!"

With a savage smile, Agnik dashed away quickly, Thantos and Norn looked at each other for a second before nodding and following Agnik quickly.

Meanwhile, Morin is currently chilling in his room.

He didn't need to get out as since his singularity project was finished he gained complete control over his Mana.

Now with just a thought, Morin can acquire information about everything in the spaceship down to the molecular level.

Even though that would be a very large amount of data Morin wasn't concerned, with the mutation he got this is a piece of cake.

Recalling the mutation's description put a smile on Morin's face, honestly he feels that the description is underestimating the mutation too much, he honestly feels that his brain wouldn't be defeated by even the best quantum computer in his previous world.

However, when he detected an anomaly in the spaceship his smile turned into a frown.

"A spatial disturbance?"

He immediately got off the bed and scanned the spaceship once again.

Through his scan he detected the students running around the hallway searching for teachers, most of them are already with one, only a few are left wandering around either alone or with a group.

Among the students, he also detected the trio of Agnik, Norn, and Thantos but he knew that they were strong enough to survive until he arrived if they ever fell into a dangerous situation.

There is another trio group that interested him, Viola, Rina, and Bella are currently strolling around the hallway, from his detection he found that Viola is using her ability to create a strong chemical compound that could softly control the students, she then controlled those same students to surround her and her friends like a human shield.

Fortunately, she didn't keep controlling them as when they found a male teacher she immediately released the control and acted innocently, saying that she is leading the students to safety which gained her some good points from that male teacher.

"Huh, her ability developed again…"

Morin decided to ignore her for now and continued with the scan, he found a few teachers searching for students to protect including Clove who had rounded up a large number of students.

He also found the principal in the control room, currently he is watching the situation through the security camera, just as Morin was about to look at other places he found that the principal suddenly turned around and stared in the general direction of his room.

Deciding to avoid any future misunderstanding and attempting to get information, Morin contacted the principal through a new magic he invented which he appropriately named Telepathy.

While the principal is staring in a specific direction he suddenly heard a sound in his head.

(Hello? Can you hear me, principal?)

Surprised, the principal stood silently for a while before shaking his head and answering.

"Morin? Is that you?"

(Yes principal, what exactly happened?)

"We are attacked", the principal said calmly.

(Uh, you seem very nonchalant about it…)

"I have checked and the danger level isn't that high, by the way, how did you contact me", he shrugged.

(Uh, new… technology?)

Morin wanted to slam his head to the wall over how bad his lie is.

"Hahaha, so it's a new technology, this will surely help humanity", the principal nodded.

(Yes but this technology isn't ready for public use yet, anyway I need to go)

"Alright alright, be sure to protect the students!"

(Yes yes I will)

After taking a deep breath and calming himself, Morin continued scanning the spaceship.

While scanning he just so happen to feel a battle happening, this time he concealed his scans to make sure no one found out.

Turns out the battle he found is between the ETF group and a bunch of mercenaries.

The ETF agents quickly sent mercenary after mercenary to their afterlife like killing chickens in a coop.

As more and more bodies pile up the mercenaries fight fiercer and fiercer, at the start they are a bit hesitant but now they are fighting like a pack of rabid dogs, attacking without caring for their own life.

However, this didn't even bother the ETF agents, their armor is protecting them from any harm that those mercenaries intended to cause.

Just when Morin thought the fight was about to end something unexpected happened.

Among the pile of bodies, a lone mercenary holding a black dagger dashed out, as if teleporting he appeared in front of the ETF team's leader and slashed his dagger.

The dagger managed to cut through her armor and leave a light scar on her arm.

"Ugh!"

""Leader!""

The other agents shouted for their leader which caused a gap to form in their defense, this gap was then exploited by the mercenaries to deal a small amount of damage to the agents.

But even with those scars the ETF agents are still easily killing mercenaries left and right.

When there were no more mercenaries appearing out of the docking area everyone started to relax a little bit.

*Boom*

Sadly the fight won't end that easily, a space distortion suddenly appeared in front of the agents, and not only there as the distortion is appearing all around the spaceship.

Out of those distortions walked more mercenaries, most of the distortion released cannon fodders, while others like the one in front of Viola, Clove, and the trio boys released a group of elite mercenaries.

The one that's of concern for Morin however is the distortion in front of the ETF team, out of that particular distortion walked two mercenaries.

Unlike the other mercenaries, these two aren't wearing a helmet so their race is clear to everyone.

Cat ears, long tail, and that damn smug look, these mercenaries are Catman and the two in front of the ETF team seem to be their leader and vice leader.
