The Fight That Decides My Fate

"This is the fight that will decide my fate, whether I become successful, achieve any dreams or die a pitiful death in the hands of an immortal." Davie looked at both armies coming his way before looking at the ticking timer that was down to seventeen minutes.

"I just need to hold for seventeen more minutes." Davie looked behind him towards his army of less than 12,000 NPC's with a smile.

Davie decided to take the fight away from the stronghold and block both armies from getting closer.

Both sides were going to meet half way and engage in a clash. After a few seconds of running Davie arrived in front of the players and slashed his sword creating a crescent shaped energy blade that slashed over a hundred players down to zero.

Davie's raw power was immense compared to the players. He went from one player to the other displaying his strength one slash at a time.

Argh! Gah!

It was a bloody mess where both Flake and Kane's elites fought Davie together. It was an unfair 20 to 1 battle, if only all 20 players were a united force then Davie wouldn't have lasted more than a minute against them but both sides were to paranoid that even while fighting Davie half of their attention was looking at the other party.

Obviously Davie saw this and took the opportunity and slashed the players down one by one, it felt like Davie was fighting a one versus one battle, players didn't want to cooperate with eachother and fight Davie first since they were scared of being backstabbed by other.

Clank!

When Davie was about to slash another player Flake appeared and blocked Davie's sword with her own sword. She knew her team was occupied with paying attention to Fallen Moon's movements but if they didn't focus on fighting Davie then rather than dying from Kane's hands they would die from an NPC.

"Conel and Sheena attack from the sides, brawn make sure to support then when this npc retaliates, keep bombarding him with skills and hinder his movements as much as you can."

Kane and his elites were happily watching as Flake and her elites struggled to put Davie to the ground. Kane was smirking with delight as he looked at Snow's members.Davie had slain countless Falleb Moon core menbers yet Kane didn't jump into action because he was waiting before Flake and her core members to become occupied, 'Back stabbing time.' Kane thought.

Kane looked to his side where a short man with a pair of daggers was standing, "Lorent go and use the scrolls." Kane whispered.

Lorent nodded before he went to an area where Snow had a dense amount of members before he placed a scroll on the grown and with a simple word the scroll grew in size and was now the size of a large square carpet. The scroll which was previously blank now had writings on it and a summoning circled was drawn onto it. After a few seconds a red demon had appeared from it.

At the same time another demon had been summoned that was a level 65 and was wrecking havoc on the NPC army while the level 60 demon was easily ripping through most of Snow's members. Countless core members surrounded the demon with the fight turning into a stalemate.

'I expected Kane to backstab me but him summoning two demons was out of the equation.' Flake thought, "Disengage and initiate a complete retreat."

Snow's army had disengaged the attacking NPC and were kiting back while holding back the demon. The demon had already caused a lot of chaos that turned thousands of players into particles. The demon was just as strong if not stronger than Davie which also caused for the NPC's to lose two hundred members.

Davie put his focus into killing the demon before fully committing to fighting with Kane. Davie's face was fully red in anger after he saw Kane's men summon two demons, even though Snow was his enemy he didn't like the fact that Kane had backstabbed its temporary ally.

The demon was quickly taken care off as the elites of the NPC army had surrounded it. At the same time after taking on the full force of Snow's core members and elites the demon finally succumbed to all the attacks and was slain after a lot of blood was shed.

Kane now felt the full strength of the NPC army coming his way which made him want to run as far as he could but he knew that after fighting over 800,000 players Davie's army had went down to less than 5,000 and with two more summoning scrolls he could wipe the NPC army out. But the problem was, where was Snow?

After initiating a full retreat Flake had rotated her army around the battle field towards the stronghold, Davie had little numbers to cut off Snow's army so he decided to fully retreat towards the stronghold and make a last stand.

Davie and his NPC army was faster than Snow's therefore he was able to position his army facing both Fallen Moon and Snow. 600,000 players against 4,500 NPC's. A fight that where the winner was obvious yet Davie couldn't retreat anymore, his career depended on this campaign and he was willing to risk the lives of his comrades for his dream, after all sacrifices were meant to be made, it was either he sacrificed his comrades of face a situation worst than death in which he chose the latter.

Flake had commanded her army to not engage the NPC's head on and decided to move to the side of the stronghold to avoid the NPC's fully. Davie didn't have enough numbers to fully surround the castle and if he did spread out his army then they would be way to stretched out.

At the area where the fight had first started, piles upon piles of items were littering the ground fully soaked in blood. Zoom wasn't the only player there looting, almost a hundred players were running around looting everything in their sight. These players were random players but members of both guilds that were assigned as the loot collectors.
