chapter 1: new school new me
"Juliana wake up! Your going to be late for school!" Julianas mom yelled from the kitchen. Juliana layed there silent. "Juliana!" Her mom yelled. "alright I'm up!" Juliana groaned as she sat up in her bed. Picking out her outfit and getting dressed, she runs downstairs and grabs her back pack. "What about breakfast?!" Julianas mom yelled. "No time!" She yelled back running out the door.
She runs toward the bus stop and thankfully the bus wasn't there yet. A couple minutes later the bus arives. Getting on the bus she sits down in A seat, she put in headphones and looked out the bus window, she started to drift off when she felt someone lightly tap her shoulder. "Hey do you mind if I sit here? All the other seats are taken." A girl asks. Juliana turns her head and nods. "I'm ashley, what's your name?" She asks. "I'm juliana" she replies rubbing her eyes. "Oh cool, are you new here?" Ashley questions. "Yup." Juliana replies turning back to the window.
Finally arriving at the school "do you want to hang out at lunch?" Ashley asks. "Sure.." Juliana says standing up with Ashley waiting to get off the bus. "Well I'll see you later!" Ashley says walking off to class. "Yeah see ya" Juliana replies walking to class. 4 hours pass by and its time for lunch. As Juliana waits in line to get food Ashley spots her and waves to signal Juliana that she needs to sit there. Juliana gets her food and sits next to ashley. Two other people sit across from Ashley and juliana. "Juliana meet my friends." Ashley says happily. "Hi I'm chris." The boy on the left says, "and I'm Isabelle." Says the girl on the right staring down at her phone. "I'm Juliana nice to meet both of you." Juliana introduces herself and waves to get isabelles attention. Isabelle looks up at juliana and looks over at ashley and smiles. "So are you new?" Chris asks. "Yeah I came from California high school." Juliana replies.
The bell rings and the group stands up and walks out of the cafeteria. "Hey why dont we all go and hang out tonight?" Ashley asks everyone. The two nod, "sounds great." Juliana says. A couple more hours pass and its time to go home. Juliana walks out of the building and starts to head down to the busses when she heard "wait up!" From behind her, it was Ashley. Ashley finally catches up with juliana and they start talking. "So when and where are we meeting?" Juliana asks. "Oh! We are meeting at steevonsen park at 10pm" Ashley replies. They finally get to the bus and they sit in a seat and sit silent. A few minutes later Ashley gets off the bus "see you there!" Ashley says walking out the bus. "Ok" Juliana replies. Julianas stop was next and she got off the bus and walked inside her house putting her bag down on the floor.
"How was your first day of school?" Her mom asks. "Pretty good I met a few people." Juliana says back. "That's good" her mom says. "Oh hey mom, me and my friends were gonna all meet up at the park tonight, can I go?" Juliana asks her mom. "Hmm I guess just stay safe and make sure if your going to stay the night or something text me." Her mom replies with assurance. "I will!" Juliana says walkingg up the stairs to her room. "What a long day" Juliana thinks to herself. She lays down and drifts off into sleep. A few hours later her mom calls her down for dinner "juliana dinner!". She wakes up and heads down stairs for dinner. After eating she changed her clothes and put on a jacket. "Alright mom ill see you later" Juliana says walking out the door. "Ok be safe!" Her mom yells before Juliana closes the door.
