Chapter-15: Chariot race.

Thomas was sitting on his chair and he was very angry with him because again, everything happens due to him. He took his daughter out of the village and I'm her innocence. She gave them an idea to change their place of living.

"What did you want to say?" Said by Thomas in an angry voice.

… Hero knew everything but he knew that he wanted to become richer and he also wanted people to respect him inside of Joseph. He told him about the benefits of helping everyone. He said that if he helps them then they will tell other people and they will come to him for loan, land and house. In rent, he will provide everything and he will keep getting money from them and people start respecting him.

He liked his idea, he had a smile on his face and he saw a dream. In that dream he was sitting on the cart which was pulled by an elephant and all the other landlords were looking at him and getting jealous of him. When he was looking at their jealous faces he felt happy.

"Uncle Thomas… where are you going?"

… He came back to the present and put his hand on his head with a smile and said yes to him. Joseph was surprised to see that because for the first time, he did not get angry at him. He snapped his finger again and they all came back to the house.

Finally the day has come when the chariot race is going to happen. Whole village was empty because they all went to see the race. In the big market, there were many people who used to pull a cart and people were asking to take them to the arena where the race was going to happen. They used to sit on the cart and take them to the arena. Bit Hero and his family were already in the cart and he was driving the cart. After some time, they all reached the arena. Area was a huge structure in circular shape. It has the arrangement of sitting on many people and special arrangements for authorities and kings who used to come to see the race.

They entered inside and the arena was full of crowd. Many people were already sitting in their places, holding different color flags and cheering for their favorite racer.

Isabella and Hero, both of their family, were sitting together in another place because the family of the racers used to sit separately from the crowd. In that crowd, Alice with Angel, Jack and Daniel were sitting with their families. Angel was looking around in search of Hero but Daniel told him that he was down. There was a huge open space in the middle of the crowd where all the chariots were going to come before the race.

For watching the race, many people came from different places because that race was special due to the challenge and everyone was there to see the result of the race. There were a group of people who belonged to different places and many kings of different kingdoms and there were authorities also. Everyone stood from their places because the king, King Zod, was coming with his daughter Luna.

He was wearing golden clothes which show his loyalty and had a crown on his head. His daughter was wearing a red dress, open hair with golden jewellery lines and had golden bracelets on her arm. They took their seats and asked everyone to start the race.

Many chariots came inside the arena with their owner and took a round. They wave their hands towards everyone. In that group of chariots, Hero was also there and he was Laos waving his hand.

Suddenly, they all heard a sound and king Oz came there in his chariot. His chariot was different from others. It contains four horses and a very beautifull chariot. He was sitting behind and waving his hand and thanking everyone.

All the chariots took their places and stood facing towards the exit because after a few minutes they had to go out from that exit.

There were 20 chariots waiting for the command. Luna was looking at everyone and found Hero who was sitting in the driving seat and one girl was sitting back. She was the only female owner between all of them. She was staring at him and impressed by his attitude because he had challenged the king. She was his eyes which were full of truth and his face was shining like a sun.

"Hero!!"

Route of the race was simple and everyone knew that. First they will cross the Big Market and enter inside the stone table village. After that village, they will pass through the rain deer forest and then, the river will come. That river was around the buffalo village. After they cross the village, a bridge will come which is made up of wood. When they cross that bridge, they will enter again inside the Big Market and from there, they will come back to the arena. Man who will cross the finishing line will be declared the winner and he will get the prize amount of 50 gold coins.

This race was also seen by the four witches. He had sent something for Hero because she wanted to check his ability. They all were sitting on the chair and looking towards the mirror. That mirror was showing them all the things which were happening in the arena.

People were shouting and lots of noise was coming. Zod told everyone that they should not make them wait, he ordered them to start the race and one blast occurred in the air which means that the race has started. All the drivers grab the rope of horses and wait for the command. One man came in front of the king Zod, he was holding a plate of gold with a red cloth.

He asked her daughter to start the race. She stood from her seat and took that cloth in her hand. The entire crowd got silent and Luna started flying in the sky and came in front of all the racers. She was standing on a big slab. She raised her hand and dropped that cloth from her hand.

At that moment, all the racers shouted and their horses made a sound and the race started. Huge amount of dust was left behind and all the racers were running towards their first place, Big Market.

All the chariots were running on the road with their full strength and there was only one sound and that sound was coming from the legs of the horses. In the area, the king had made a huge screen in the middle of the air so that everyone could see the race.

King Oz can do anything to win the race, so he starts to use his powers to stop them. Hero was on the last and still trying to catch them.

He was trying his best to make his horses run fast and Oz looked behind, there was a chariot. He moved his two fingers and the land became slippery. Bothe the horses lose their control and slide down. Due to sliding, the driver loses the grip from the rope and their chariot gets collided with the tree which was known as echo tree. Bang.

Hero saw that and he turned his horses in another direction and he saved himself from that slippery portion of the road.

In the arena, Angel told her friends that it was cheating but they told her that there is only one rule and that rule is to win.

One racer was down and rest were still on the race and they all had crossed the Big Market and they entered inside the stone table village. All the people shouted and cheered for them and some of them threw clothes, vegetables on them to distract them due to which one of the chariots collided with the shops and out of the race.

Hero was still on the last and he was very close to taking the position of second last. He was trying his best to overtake that chariot. When the left turn came that time he slowed down his horses because he knew that at a fast speed his horses could slide.

He turned his horses from inside and over took that chariot.

"HAA!!"

The king OZ took the lead. With four horses, he kept running fast and Hero was coming from behind.

"Hero fast… I don't want to lose." Said by Isabella.

He looked behind with surprise.

"I mean… we don't want to lose."

Finally they crossed the stone table village and they were going down from the hill and from there, they had to enter inside the rain dear forest.

Isabella knew about the forest. That forest got its name from his nature. That forest had big trees whose size was bigger than an ordinary leaf. They use to hold water on the leaf and when they hear some sound, they drop all their water on that sound. She also knew that in that forest, there were long rope type branches. They always hang down from the tree and act as restrictions on the path.

King Oz was leading and he entered inside the forest first.
