Chapter 16: Blooming friendship.

A taxi car stopped just a few inches away from the crosswalk. Inko who notices there apartment building emmidiently turn her head to Izuku who was sleeping beside her shoulder.

Izuku held Catnap and Dogday's in his arm's tightly before opening his eye's. He rubs his tired eye's while he turns to his mom and ask 

" Yawn.... Are we home? "

" Yup just wake up your friends and I'll prepare us for lunch "

Izuku's eyes brightened as he tries to shake Catnap and Dogday's sleep who in Izuku's surprise were already awake. It was difficult for Dogday to sleep since he simply couldn't without the aid of Catnap's red smoke. He did ask Catnap to put them to sleep and it worked.... For only a short period of time.

Dogday long to look at the apartment building his new home. He didn't think much of it as he look's back at Catnap who only took a second glance at the building before pretending to go back to sleep. 

They all went out of the car as Inko pay's the taxi driver before the taxi leaves. Izuku was excited to see Dogday's reaction to his new home but all he could see is nothing but a blank stare.

" Um Dogday? Is there something wrong? You don't look excited to see our home?

" Hmm? Oh no I am excited I'm just overwhelmed with emotions "

" You don't look overwhelmed? "

" Eh this is my face when I'm overwhelmed "

He lied. He just doesn't feel anything about this new home. He has already accepted his new Identity and his strange situation that nothing as mundane as this could surprise him. Of course Izuku doesn't believe what Dogday said but decided to put it aside since he will show them his apartment. 

This was Izuku's first time that he would be having two roommate's so he was both excited and nervous. Inko and Izuku walk inside the building as they head straight towards there apartment door. Once Inko open's the door Izuku walk's in and emmidiently took of his shoes so that he could show Dogday there whole apartment.

Izuku felt entitled to show Dogday around there apartment since he wasn't he was just summoned just few days ago. Izuku tried his best to show there living room, there kitchen and even his room which was filled with several posters, merch's, and Toys of all might splattered all around his room.

Dogday couldn't help but to feel akward when he saw Izuku's room. He didn't know just how obsessed Izuku is over Allmight as remembering his encounter with the number one hero he felt like Izuku would probably ask him a ton of questions about his encounter.

He doesn't want to hear Izuku's constant question's bombarding him in every part of his furry floppy ears so he just stayed silent and just watch Izuku.

Izuku showed them his toys and merch as well as telling them facts about Allmight since Izuku knows that Catnap and Dogday probably didn't know much of the number one hero. He wanted to tell Catnap and Dogday just how much of an amazing hero is Allmight as his words felt more like loud mumbling.

" God he's more obsessed than you "

" Shut up.... I'm not that obsessed. "

" Said's the guy who worshipped the prototype. "

Dogday rolled his eyes while he whispered to Catnap. Catnap side eye's Dogday as he doesn't think that his too obsessive over the prototype. He always thought that his worship was considered normal and that it was no different than a religion. Now that his worship over the prototype has faded his now more preoccupied on making Izuku is happy and safe. Izuku kept telling them about Allmight until Inko knocked the door and peaked through there room as she said 

" Izuku-kun get ready. Mitsuki just called and she's coming over to celebrate your recovery "

" Really!? Yes! Catnap Dogday I want you two meet Kachan! His my friend and I'm sure you all will get along! "

" Your friend huh? "

Dogday said not really interested of who Izuku's friend is but none the less he still decided to show some interest in Bakugo for Izuku.

( An hour passed )

Inko who was about to put a tray of tokoyaki's on the table where Izuku peaked at the rest of there lunch with hunger in his eyes. They eventually heard a knock and a voice from the door as Inko who already recognize the voice walk towards the door where she opens and greet a spiky haired blond woman carrying two bento boxes on her left hand.

There was a child with her a boy with similar hair style as his mother. Mitsuki wave at Inko as she showed her the two bento box on her and said to her in excitement. 

" Inko! Congratulations for Izuku's recovery! Sorry were a little late this brat has been a pain in the ass all day "

Her child bakugo with a few bumb's and injuries on his head pout as he looks away at her. Inko being hospitable smiled back at the Katsuki family as she welcomed them to her apartment. 

Inko and Mitsuki began to walk to the kitchen as they talk and prepare the two bento boxes in Mitsuki's hand seemingly forgetting there surrounding's leaving Bakugo with Izuku alone. Izuku who was eyeing on there lunch on the table emmidiently noticed Bakugo as he walks towards him in excitement.

" Kacchan! Kacchan! I have something to show you! "

Izuku said straight away as he look at Catnap and Dogday who where right next at the table.. There were going to try the snacks as Catnap use's his tail to get a few sashimi to give to Dogday until he was grabbed by Izuku on the waist and pulled towards Bakugo face.

Bakugo flinch by the sight of Catnap but emmidiently calm down. Bakugo look at Catnap a bit as he turned to Izuku and said.

" A cat toy? Why the hell would you show me that "

" It's not a Cat toy it's Catnap! His my quirk I developed a few days ago isn't it cool! "

Bakugo was surprised to hear that Izuku manage to develop his quirk as he look at Catnap a little closer. The purple cat plushie look a bit alive in Bakugo's eyes as it looked creepy upon closer inspection. Bakugo emmidiently didn't think much of Izuku's quirk as he think that the Plush toy wasn't even a quirk at all.

" Liar this looks like any other lame doll. What does your quirk even do make toy's? Mom can buy ton's of garbage like this. "

Catnap's eye twitch as he was annoyed at Bakugo calling him a kids toy. He didn't need to see Izuku feeling down that to hear Bakugo calling his quirk lame so he stared at Bakugo for a second before saying.

" Oh and you thought your some tough guy? You look like the result of a pineapple after hours of being put inside an ass "

" What?! " 

Bakugo was surprised that Catnap can actually talk. Though he didn't suspect it to directly insult him he couldn't help but to be fuming as he yelled at Catnap.

" Listen hear! Your nothing but a lame, weak cat toy so- "

" What are you going to scream at me to death? "

" What No! Shut up you you Ugly cat! "

" Haha that's your insult!? Aw~ does the little baby sad that you hair looks like a pineapple? "

" Just shut your mouth you you- "

" You you you what. Is there even any good insults in that fruity little head of yours? How about you go ahead and cry about it to your mommy you spoiled rotten piece of shit "

Bakugo felt his anger raising as well as his tear's dripping from his eyes as Bakugo hadn't have someone talking him like that other than his mom. He can't think of anything to say as he tried to insult Catnap in everywhere he can think off.

It's the only thing Bakugo could do as he felt little jealous that Izuku manage to develop his quirk much earlier than him. Though it looks like a weak quirk in his eyes he couldn't help but to feel like his time to shine has been stolen by Izuku. The kid who he only agreed to be his friend because there mom kept visiting each other.

Of course Catnap didn't back away from Bakugo's insult. Though he isn't used to talking to people and was pretty introverted back in life he does have many dark thought's and curse's he used whenever some kids from the facility were jerk's.

Izuku who was somehow in the middle of the conflict tried to anxiously calming these two down. While Inko and Mitsuki were walking outside the kitchen completely lost in there own world Mitsuki then notice her child bad mouthing a talking purple cat plushie as she look at her son with annoyance and anger before turning her head to Inko.

" Haha sorry I'll be right back. BAKUGO!!! WHAT THE FUCK I SAID BE NICE!!! "

" BUT MOM THIS THING STARTED IT!!! "

" OH DON'T GIVE THAT LOOK I KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SHIT YOU ARE NOW GO APOLOGIZE TO IZUKU NOW! "

" B-but that thing started it!! "

Bakugo said pointing at Catnap who was starring at him with a murderous death stare. Mitsuki who notice Catnap has been informed by Inko that her son developed a quirk much more earlier. Of course she was happy for Inko for having her child developing his quirk since she's her friend.

Though she doesn't know much detail of Izuku's quirk she did manage to get an Idea from Inko that it was a type of quirk that brings inanimate objects to life. Of course this doesn't change her mind as she knows what kind of child Bakugo is as she just said to him.

" Just apologize to Izuku now or I'll give you a beating of a life time. Do you think apologizing is that hard "

" But but! Ugh! "

Bakugo wanted to burst in anger because he doesn't get the justice he thinks he deserves. Already knowingbhow much of a ruthless mother Mitsuki is he could only hide his anger and just accepted defeat.

He still wouldn't look at Catnap's direction as he just look at Izuku and said.

" Sorry. "

" Um no worries kacchan. Catnap you two! you were super mean to kacchan so it's fair that you apologize "

" What? "

Catnap look at Izuku who was trying to make a serious face. Catnap felt like he was the wrong here since he clearly was defending himself against being insulted. Though he wanted to refuse he doesn't want Izuku to dislike him so he relunctantly said.

" Sorry. "

Both Mitsuki and Izuku seem to lighten up a bit when they said sorry to each but unlike what they see Bakugo and Catnap look at each other's eyes with murderous intentions as if there apology meant nothing. There murderous gaze's penetrated to each other as if wanting to murder the other.

Dogday who was outside the drama watch from afar as he doesn't feel good about this situation.
