Chapter 20: Match

"Now we'll take an hour break for lunch before we start the afternoon festivities! See ya!" Present Mic announced, he turned to look at Aizaw. "Hey, Eraser Head let's go grab food."

"I'm going to sleep," Aizawa replied. He had a smile under his bandages as he recalled the event.

"Kazuki let's grab some food!" Kirishima said with Bakugo following him.

"Sure," Kazuki replied, his eyes set on Shinso. 'He joined Midoriya's team, strange.' Kazuki shook his head and followed the others.

After an hour the recreational games had happened.

Kazuki was sitting in the corner watching everything unfold. 'I have to calm down.' His heart was racing nonstop.

After the games, it was time for the first round. 

"Kazuki vs Shinso!" Present Mic announced.

"Go, Go, Go Kazuki!" Furui shouted waving the pamphlet.

Kazuki stood in the stage. His eyes faced with Shinso's. 

"Battle! Start!" Present Mic shouted.

"I must say, you took the fights by storm," Shinso said with a smug look on his face. "But that will end right now, monkey." He called out.

Hearing no response, Shinso's face contorted. "You're lucky you've been blessed Kazuki Uchiku,"

Kazuki actioned his mouth zipping. A smug smile appeared on his face, he started walking closer to Shinso.

"Y-You." Shinso was in disarray. 'How did he? Did he know of my quirk? What the heck?' 

Kazuki continued to move closer to Shinso, he rested his hand on his shoulders. 

"Ooooh, what is this?! Isn't this supposed to be the first fight?! Hype us up!" Present Mic shouted aloud.

Kazuki pressed his index finger on Shinso's stomach.

Bang!

Shinso flew out of the ring and landed on the ground. 

The crowd turned silent, it was too fast. 

"K-Kazuki wins! The first one to go to the finals is Kazuki Uchiku from Class A!" Present Mic stuttered.

Kazuki put his hand in his pockets. He looked at Shinso who was out of the stage. "Hey, you, name's Shinso right? Sorry about that day when you came to our classroom."

"You know you would have gained the upper hand if I didn't know your quirk earlier. I saw the way you used your quirk the whole duration of the game. You did well." Kazuki gave a thumbs-up and left the stage.

Kazuki noticed Shinso in Midoriya's group. At first, he was quite conflicted and even thought Shinso was controlling them. But it was the opposite, he was trying to hide his perks.

Which was kind of conflicting knowing Shinso's personality in the anime. 'Is the story slowly diverging from the main storyline?' That thought lingered inside his head.

"Yahoo what a boring first match!" Present Mic added. "Anyways, we hope that the next round can give us some thrills!"

The Next Battle was Todoroki Vs Sero. It ended in an instant win.

After that many fights occurred.

Then Bakugo Vs Uraraka

...

"Shoto Todoroki Vs Izuku Midoriya!"

Kazuki yawned and watched the fight. 'It ended in Todoroki's win.' Kazuki sat at the side. 'Maybe I should take a quick nap.' Kazuki rested his head and slowly dozed off.

After a few matches.

Todoroki Vs Kazuki.

"Now the second and first place are competing! Todoroki Vs Uchiku! Brace yourselves for this epic match!" Present Mic shouted hyping the crowd.

"A fight between the first and second." One of the spectators pumped its fist.

The crowd was excited for the fight.

Kazuki and Todoroki stood on the stage.

A smile appeared on his face. "I won't hold back just like last time." Kazuki moved his hands, he positioned himself into a fighting stance. '3%' Kazuki thought.

"Fighttttt!" Present Mic announced.

Todoroki created a wave of Ice circling Kazuki. 'I can't let him get too close.' 

'3%' Kazuki used 3% of his quirk on his foot. He shot faster than a bullet, his right arm turned into a fist.

Todoroki moved fast, he jumped away and created a massive wall of ice. 

Booooom.

Kazuki's punch met with the Ice. But he didn't stop, once the ice wall broke Kazuki launched himself once again to Todoroki.

Todoroki continued to jump away, creating massive ice walls. He stomped his feet, and three large ice spikes formed underneath Kazuki's feet.

Whoosh

Kazuki shot himself up in the sky. He moved his fingers and flicked his hands. 

Boooom

The three spikes exploded with his shot.

Todoroki shot a massive pillar of ice to Kazuki who was in the sky. 'I can't let him get too close!' 

Midoriya and Kazuki's quirk had some similarities. That was one thing, it was destructive and powerful. But, Midoriya couldn't control his quirk, while Kazuki had a full understanding of his quirk.

'4%' Kazuki punched the huge pillar breaking it into pieces. 'More ice pillars?' Kazuki dodged each pillar and used it as a footing to run back onto the ground.

"Oooooh is this even a fight between students?!" Present Mic exclaimed.

"Woah." The audience exclaimed.

Every time Kazuki hit something an ice pillar. Wind pressure would gather that would spread across the arena.

Kazuki rushed and jumped from the stone pillar, his hands aiming at Todoroki's face.

Pshhhhh.

Todoroki used his left, to create a powerful blazing fire aiming at Kazuki. 

Kazuki flicked his hands and created a powerful wind pressure extinguishing the flame. His body was an inch closer to smashing Todoroki's face. 

Todoroki exhaled, the last minute he swayed his right hand, and ice emerged swallowing Kazuki's whole body. The ice extended and reached the skies just like what he did to Sero.

"Woooooahhhh!" The crowd exclaimed.

Todoroki made sure that his ice would swallow Kazuki whole. 'If I even give him some space then he'll use his quirk.'

"What a turn of events! Todoroki froze Kazuki in his ice! Is this the end of Kazuki uchiku?!" Present Mic shouted aloud hyping the crowd.

"K-Kazuki!" Furui stood up and shouted from his seat. 'No, You can't lose son!'

'Huh?' Kazuki sat up. His head ringing. 'What happened? Wasn't I in the middle of the arena?'

He slowly stood up looking at the dark space around him. 'What the? Where am I?' Kazuki noticed someone sitting in a corner. "Hey!" Kazuki walked an inch closer, he put his hand on the person's shoulder.

"Hey-"

Kazuki was startled and stopped midway, the other person put both his hands on Kazuki's neck. 'What the fuck?' Kazuki squirmed, his eyes locking with the person in front of him. 'Me?'

"Having fun using my body?" The person said with a smile.
